Well im making a 2vs2 team and im wonderin if thsi would be a good combo

    Alakazam@???
    -Reflect
    -Light Screen
    -Recover
    -Psychic

    Wailord@Chesto Berry
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Rest
    -Earthquake

The strategy here is to to use light screen and Reflect to boost Wailords bad sp. defense and defense. With his better defenses and huge hp and rest it will be hard to kill him. if a fighting comes out psychic can easily handle them. Alakazam is really only there to feep the walls up so i put recover on him to keep him alive.

er.....the 'zam is ok. put lefties. Swampert and Walrein can do what Wailord is doing, except they do it 21837023867023487602398672039672035867209563209568 72309586723094867230948672309486723049862309 times better. 'nuff said ;0

Okay first off your Alakazam is not a good choice at all to pair up w/Walrein. One E-Quake would DESTROY Alakazam even w/the Reflect up. I personally think that Walrein is not the pokemon you want to use here. I agree w/strat on his suggestions, but I think that Wailord is the best water pokemon EVER in a 2v2 battle because of his high HP and he can also have his weaknesses covered by a partner. An awesome duo for a 2v2 battle w/the Reflect/Light Screen combos is this:

    Wailord @Chesto Berry
    -Water Spout
    -Ice Beam
    -Earthquake
    -Rest

Chesto Rest + his high HP + WS is HUGE! Do the max EV's in HP and Sp. Atk. the 6 left over give to Special Defense.

His partner needs to be able to take avoid EQuake so I vote for Chimeco:

Chimeco @Leftovers, has to be Leftovers
    -Reflect
    -Light Screen
    -Heal Bell
    -Toxic
    <Levitate>

He's pretty heavy duty support if you ask me. Reflect, LS, and Toxic can all be taught to him at the level he's supposed to be used at. The plan is Reflect, then LS, and then Toxic the opponents. After the Chesto Rest has been used up, use his Heal Bell to wake your Wailord. He needs Leftovers to keep some HP in him.

I use these 2 pokes in a 2v2 team I've made that got me 100 wins at Mt. Battle. You'll find that Wailord is way too UU.

Hope this was of some help!

come to think of it, attach lefties to wailord. with hb-chimecho, have chimecho attack when wailord rests. then hb, and wailord attacks again!

then again, pp might be an issue.....< never mind that....

Just use the PP max that you get from the Trick House. That should solve your problem.
