^_^ I'm pretty much thinking the same as you here. Other than all the cool games that are expected the DS actually looks really sexy unlike, lets say, N-gage
Apparently it wont be out here in the UK until early 2005 though so I guess I have a bit of time to save up the £70 - £90 this will be setting me back...
