    Default Challenger!! CD Review

This has to be the absolute worst CD that Pikachu Records has ever put out.

I am of the group that believes Challenger is not a good song, and the extended version is even worse than the short intro form.

Smile is also a bad song, maybe some people disagree, I don't know, but I'd rather see my favorite come back, Fantasy in Your Pocket.

Then, for whatever reason, they decide to put Pokemon Ierukana "2004" in, and just like the previous versions, this one sucks.

Then a seemingly new song, if someone has more information it would be appreciated: Pokefuri game no uta. What is this, and why would someone pay for this crap?

Just awful, and tack on 3 karaoke tracks, and I couldn't believe people would shell out a lot of money on a CD of this quality.

    Default So-so.

I love the Challenger!! and Smile full versions. They sound even better than the TV sized versions, and Challenger!! happens to be my favourite opening. As for Pokémon Ieru Ka Na 2004, and Pokéfuri Game no Uta, they were disappointing. I mean, why couldn't they of made an Ieru Ka Na with the Hoenn Pokémon? And where is Imakuni? And why is Pokéfuri Game no Uta such a lame song -- thirty seconds of singing, and three minutes of the same beat played over and over.

Oh well, Challenger!! and Smile make up for the rest of the CD.

Hm... well, I'm still getting used to Challenger!, but I think it's alright. I mean, it goes a bit fast for me, but the singing is great. And at 7 seasons, Pokemon could be doing a whole lot worse...

I haven't heard the other songs though, but I plan to listen to Smile later tonight. (I've been neglecting my pokemon music downloads...)

You'll be in for a small surprise. The CD edition of Smile has a few extra layers compared to the TV cuts. I don't like them, especially the [electric] guitar, which sticks out like a sore thumb.

An electric guitar in Smile does seem awfully out of place... Why does it always seem that the majority of Japanese anime songs have some sort of guitar in them, regardless of whether it fits or not? Like in Ready Go! there's a guitar, and I always thought that seemed out of place too...

Oh well, Smile is still an awesome song. It reminds me a bit of the ending song on the movie 'Spirited Away'. I forget what that songs called... and I should know since my brother owns the soundtrack...

And I just heard Polka-o-Dolka for the first time today too! I love that song! So funny and different. I always seem to love songs that Meowth sings. His voice is just too great. ^-^

Wow, am I the only person here who thought the cd was great? I really like it and I love Pokémon Ieru Ka Na 2004, and Pokéfuri Game no Uta (although i totally agree it could have been longer than 30 sec or whatever) not to big on the song Smile, but it's ok.

If you want to know what the worst CD that Pikachu Records came out with is Dance Dance Meowth (Polka O' Dolka) within a long shot. I am so sorry I ever spent 13 bucks on that CD. 10 tracks or whatever of the same freakin song. So rediculous!

Ohh just heard it at my friends house.

Challeger rocks, I love the song even more now, and the remixed opening rocks!

Smile is awesome too, I love that sort of gentle caress feel too it, I love it!

Ierukana isn't as bad as the original, but I never listened to it all the way, but the main cool thing about it is I can learn how to pronounce the names

And that other what sucks! Although it reminds me of some american song, forgot which one.

Edit-And 10 tracks of Polka Dolka? That sounds awesome, I am big on that song. Also they really need to have a song for May/Max/or Jessie. All the other charcters have got their own song.
