Shiny pokemon

Any one have shiny pokemon? if so, what are they?
I have:
shining latias
and shining Charizard (hatched from an egg)

You got a shiny from an egg? Boy, are you lucky. I worked for 3 days, very hard, to get my Shiny Kecleon. His name is Zauber, and he's Naive. He doesn't have very good stats, either, but I'm not picky when it comes to blessing. I also have a shiny Crobat, which I got as a Golbat, on the victory road cave. I was looking for Lairon to use in contests, at the time. I was pretty happy.

Anyways, on Gold and Silver, I got a shiny Tangela, Donphan, and Venonat while playing passively.

Yup, that's the extend of my shiny collection

I've got a shiny Crobat which I obtained as a Zubat and evolved, a shiny Wingull and the shiny Zigzagoon that came from sending my Sapphire cart away to get the berry glitch fixed.

A bit light on for 800+ hours of play (I'm not bitter)...

I don't have any shinies, although I'm kinda confused (I might post about this in the "Other Games Forum" later), I saw what looked like a shiny Seedot in Col. today, its "helmet" was very reflective silver. It wasn't Shadow though, it belonged to a trainer.

I found a shiny Electrike on Sapphire. It was a sea blue. i evolved it into a Manectric, which, IIRC, was Black and Yellow.

Shinies can turn up with enemy trainers, at least in Battle Tower (i've seen one - a shiny Starmie). Anyone seen a normal trainer with one? Their stats *could* be fixed or semi-random to prevent it.

I've never heard of shinies appearing with normal trainers o_o;; Dang, though.. if I saw a Shiny at the battle tower, I'd.. I dunno, go nuts or something. That just isn't right. It's like they're teasing you =P I'm glad I'm not so unfortunate as to ever have witness this...

Anyway in Sapphire I have seen and caught 2 : A female Spinda, and a Male Roselia.

In G/S/C: I got 3 : 2 Raticates one male and the other female. And a male Paras.

On the topic of shinnies when I transferred over my Spinda and Roselia to Colosseum there colors changed. Before Spinda was a slightly darker brown with dark brown spots. But in Colosseum it had green spots. And Roselia who had a black flower and a purple flower and a yellow body, changed to just a slightly darker version of it's normal colors. Im sure this has happened to others but I don't really understand why the creators decided to do this.

Colosseum, too? Wow. So that makes three different colorations for shiny pokémon...the 251 GSC species don't have the same Shiny colors in GSC as they do in RS, either. Say, anyone have any shinies in FR/LG? What colors are those?

So, you've never gotten even halfway through Gold, Silver or Crystal? There's a plot battle against a Shiny Gyarados in that generation.

Shinies continue to shine when they enter combat. It looks a little different, though. It's less noticable in RS than in GSC...three stars quickly fly around it and there a little sound effect. It's a little easier to miss in RS...but as long as you're paying a decent amount of attention to the game, you should notice it.

It was not a shiny. I have Colosseum too, and I've met severals Seedots - all with silver helmets.
Its just the way it looks in Colosseum.


Btw, I have a shiny Tentacruel, caught as a Tentacool.

I thought Spinda had green spots in the RS games as well? Or it might be that speople see the colours as different...

Anyway, I've got two shinies in my Ruby game;

Shinda-shiny Spinda, captured while getting ash for the Pretty Desk. Sceptile False Swiped him, then Manectric came out and paralsyed him, then got him in an Ultra Ball.

Caelestral-shiny Latias captured on Soutern Island. Absolute nightmare to catch, instead of attacking it, I just paralysed it with Manectric, switched to Mightyena to stall it out, then threw balls at it. I started off with over 100, ended up down to five, before I got it in a Timer Ball. I was ecstatic after that

And they've both been residing in boxes ever since o_O

Anyway, i got a shiny jynx from my pokémon crystal, and my bro got a shiny aggron on ruby as well. Moreover, i've seen a shiny wurple, but convinced that i couldn't i tried to run away, and it worked!

Well, worked... it wasn't exactly grueling work, but it sure was annoying. By "worked" I meant I stood in front of the Kecleon spot, fought it, and if it wasn't shiny, reset my game and repeated that. Let's just say it gets annoying really fast...

.. but it was worth it ^^;

Speaking of Colosseum, I'll just point out how my Shinies look on it. Shiny Kecleon in Ruby and Sapphire has a light blue stripe, yellow markings instead of Gold, and is a shade of green that's a tiny bit lighter than normal, though it's barely detectable. On Colosseum, however, the stripe is darkblue, and the markings that were yellow turned into a lightblue. He's pretty strange looking, with the lightblue on his face, but I'm not complaining ;o

As for my Crobat... he's light pink with dark green wings; he looks almost exactly the same on Colosseum, but 3D of course

Well, I have 5 shinies: Spinda, Loudred, Sableye, Psyduck and Lombre
BUT I WANT A SHINY BELDUM and I just can't get it... two weeks reseting, trying almost 3 hours per day and nothing... ¬¬

I just caught a shiny Koffing today!! It is pretty cool looking, it has a blue body with purple poisonous gas. My other shinies are Swablu, Grimer, Linoone, and 2 Zigzagoon. The Swablu, Koffing, Grimer, and Linoone were all caught naturally in the wild, and I got the two Zigzagoon from GameStop when they were having that promotion where you could get a shiny Zigzagoon that was holding a Liechi Berry. I got one on my Ruby and one on my Sapphire.

As of yet I've only encountered one, when I was trying to evolve Koffing for Pokédex purposes in Petalburg Woods. I was in a routine, and when I came across a Silcoon I used Sludge, as per usual. It was just after I pressed A that the twinkly graphic and the green-ness of it filtered through. I sat there for a while feeling like a big idiot, then pressed A again and watched it faint. Despite having fought an inordinate number of wild things, I haven't come across another ;_; I do, however, give the game my utmost concentration now, lest I repeat the mistake!

On the plus side, within 45 minutes of starting Sapphire (the above refers to Ruby) I caught the Pokérus, which was nifty to say the least.

You mean keep a Pokemon with Pokerus in one of your Boxes so you could always get hold of it when you need it. My friend got Pokerus and gave me a Pokemon with Pokerus so I could have it too. I always put Pokerus on a Pokemon when I want to do some EV Training. Remember having Pokerus or having had Pokerus will make the Pokemon gain double EVs.

Yep, they'll still get double EVs even if the Pokerus has gone. You should see a Spot somewhere on the Pokemon's Status screen showing they're had Pokerus. So if your Pokemon has Pokerus or has had it then it'll be getting double EVs off other Pokemon.

I had less than 10:00 hrs. on my game when I caught my shiny Trapinch! I seem to have luck considering I also caught a shiny Plusle recently.

Sorry to bring up an old topic again, but I just caught my first Ru/Sa shiny! It's a black Zubat, and I think I'm gonna use it on a team of mine! It's nature is Hasty, and it's Hidden Power is Fighting, so it'll make a decent Choice Band assassin for me. I just have one problem. I know that Shiny Crobat are pink, but I was wondering, is it worth it to evolve it? I mean the black is sweet, but I want to use it against my friend so badly!

I was thinkin that I could try to get it painted, and then I could evolve it. This way I could always see my shiny black Zubat whenever I wanted, but I don't know if it'll be painted black. I guess I'll just have to try!

I onle have these two PoKeMoN that are shiny.

A Male Linoone that I evolved from a Zigzagoon with a Rash nature and a Shiney Zigzagoon with a Lax nature.

I plan on hatching a shiny Poochyena, Zigzagoon, Makuhita, Electrike, Bagon and Aron with the Strongest Natures because if I hatch them I'll use them for my Secret Base team.

By the way, the black dot is a small square (think Microsoft paint, paintbrush dot) dot, to the right of the Pokeball. If you see this, it means your Pokemon HAD Pokers and will still gain double EV's.

I have... Seven shinies without effort output on my part. If you count the ones I hatched over a hundred Eggs each for (my shiny Charizard and shiny Pikachu), I have nine. I'm not counting Gyarados or Ditto. I'll list them in order of appearance.

Gold Version:

1) CUMULUS, Blue Togetic (M). Originally Togepi. I got the egg from the scientist that gives it to you. When he hatched I never thought about him again until I noticed that my brother's Togetic was red. I looked up some stuff and discovered that there was such a thing as a shiny (up to that point I didn't know it existed) and found out that my Togetic was shiny. Wow.

2) AuSTRALIA, Golden Pidgeot (F). Originally Pidgey. I was looking for a Pikachu to catch, I think, to fill my pokédex. I was using Pokémon Stadium on the fast mode, which makes the colors black and white. I ran into a Pidgey that sparkled. Even in black and white she looked lighter than normal Pidgeys. Excitedly, I turned the color on with shaking hands, and realized that she was golden.

3) AMETHYST, Red Golem (F). Originally Graveler. I found her in Silver Cave while I was raising something, I think. This was not very long after I had caught and raised my Pidgey to LV100. I was thrilled.

4) SAPPHIRE, Green Tentacruel (F). Originally Tentacool. I was raising my red Graveler, who was close to LV50 or something, when I ran into her. It was insane. I thought I had temporarily turned into a shiny magnet.

Ruby Version:

1) Blue Electrode. Originally Voltorb. I got it in New Mauville while running that errand for the Electric Gym Leader. After that he gave me Thunderbolt, too. It was a really good deal.

2) NIPHREDIL, Purple Wailord (F). Originally Wailmer. I was fishing for Luvdisc to get Heart Scales because I was running short. I got like 30 of them while I was trying to get a Red Shard from Corsola to evolve my Vulpix with.

3) UINEN, Green Marill (F). Originally Marill. I think I was giving someone HP EVs and ran into her. I was Surfing in that little patch that gives you only Marill.

Anyway, those are all the ones that I got through pure luck. My Gold Version ones are all at LV100, but I haven't bothered to raise my Ruby Version shinies yet. I don't have Collosseum to speed things up, and I'm not going to spend that much time tap-tap-tapping the GBA to level up my shinies.

Oh, yes, I am a horrible, horrible boaster. I should be shot.

How long have you people been playing Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire to find more than one Shiny Pokemon? I must have at least 300 Hours on my Pokemon Sapphire clock now and I've found no Shiny Pokemon. My friend kindly gave me a Shiny Beautifly because I let him download a Jirachi off my Pokemon Channel. I do a lot of EV Training because I like to raise many different Pokemon, so I might go back on Pokemon Sapphire soon to EV Train my Houndour I just hatched with great IVs (20+ each Stat). I must have had more than 8000 Battles and I've seen no Shiny Pokemon in the wild or even in the Battle Tower.
