Pikachu/Raichu Moveset Request

Since Pokemon Box came out in Japan, last week. I'm sure people are using Suring Raichu or Surfing Pikachu with Light Ball. I hope this is okay. OR if you have any good sets

This would work great as a starter. IMO. because most starters will either switch and most starters are weak too all those attacks. (Skarmory, Magneton, Cloyster, Qwilfish, Forrestress (sp), Gengar might own this. Thunder is incase someone brings an oober, or Rain Dancing Kingdra (or anything with Swift Swim) or ThunderDancer. If you have any ideas, please post them. either for Pikachu or Ria. I like Ria better, but with Light Ball Pikachu I think is stronger.

Yes, Surf is legal now because you can get a Surf Pichu off Pokemon Box.

Surf would go nicely w/Light Ball, + HP (ICE) allows him to kick some Dragon @$$. But, I don't know exactly how you get the Pichu, and if you could restart to get the right Hidden Power. Thunder Wave instead of Surf if you can't get the right Hidden Power to go w/him.

You can't get a Pikachu with both Surf and Encore, though. The Box eggs only come with Surf, not Encore.

But you need Rain Dance so Thunder (70% Accuracy) always hits. Also the Rain would add STAB onto Surf giving it more power. Me thinks my Moveset with the Light Ball would own, except for things like Lanture.

Rain Dance + Thunder isn't that good on Pikachu because it's way too fragile.

Well, you may have noticed that Colloseum is missing a lot of features that the Stadium games had...one of them is storage. The Colloseum games had lots of pokémon storage potential; Stadium 1 had 12 extra boxes, each of which could hold 20 pokémon, and Stadium 2 had plenty of storage too. Colloseum has...three boxes. Nowhere near Stadium.
Box makes up for that. It's not really a game, it's more of a utility...its sole function is to store pokémon, and it can hold 1,500 of the suckers! You can also get bonus pokémon with special moves as a thank-you for using the system.
