1: What does post count mean to you?
My post count is important to me, because I have made a lot of quality posts, and I have really earned these posts. I post mostly in the gaming forums, so not everybody here sees a lot of my posts. It wouldn't mean anything to me if I had almost 3000 posts that were nothing but spam and one-liners. But, since I put a lot of effort into my posts, I am proud of my post count.

Yes, I do like having the post count displayed!! It reminds me a lot of the old UBB. I also like having the old PokéBall ranking system back too!!

3: How many posts do you have?
This is post number 2982!! I am only 18 away from 3000, so I am definitely excited about getting to 3000.

4: Do you ever even post? including now.
Yes, I do post, I am here at least a couple of times every day. However, like I said, because I post a lot in the gaming forums, like OPG, not everybody on TPM sees a lot of my posts, so it may seem like I am not here a lot, but I am!!

1. Post count isn't important to me, because you could of just been spamming and have gotten lots of posts. Or you could be one of those people who replies to everything regardless of whether they have anything to say. You don't need to reply to say I don't care.

1. Nothing much. It doesn't mean a thing. Having a low post count doesn't necessarily make you a "noob." For instance, I may participate in other forum boards more. My accounts on those have more posts.

I don't know. I guess it means something to me. I like having a post count because it kind of shows how long you've been around. Even if the date joined is still there, that can prove innaccurate because some people leave for a while, then come back.

Yes. I like having people see how many posts I've posted.

I think it's 746, but I'm not sure. It's somewhere around there. If I hadn't left twice and returned, it would probably be somewhere around 5000. That's only a guess, of course. I'm trying to get to that number now, and raise my posts per day thing in my profile, but I try to do that by writing decent posts, not one word things.

1. It means a number underneath my name that increases every time I say something, thus is a good indicator of how much I've been waffling during my time at TPM.

To me it's just the amount of posts a person has made in the span of time they have been here at TPM. It's not the most important part of my stay at TPM though

Now that it's been there for awhile, it's alright for convenience sake I guess *shrugs*
But it's just as easy to look up in someone's profile to get their number of posts

yeah, this way when I see someone and I'm not sure if I remember them from a while ago or not, I can check their postcount. that's usually a good indicator of how long ago they joined or how active they are and stuff... if that made sense...

I think it gives people a vague idea of how active and experienced you are on the board. Combined with the join date (also listed on the side), I think it provides an interesting measure of TPM involvement. Plus, it's fun to laugh when people complain about TPM after like three posts. They obviously don't have the same perspective as those of us who have been here for at least a year or two. Of course, sometimes you see people with a few years experience but still only three or so posts...

Yeah. I think of it as a little virtual certificate for my involvement that everyone can see when they walk into my office... err... look at my profile, rather.

First, is there a reason why 'The' is capitalized? Second, I think it's fine. It's not good or bad really, because I rarely look over there anyway. Sometimes, as a mod, it helps, but usually I just ignore it.

... No. I never post. This is not a post. What you are looking at doesn't even exist. You are just imagining these dots of magenta-colored lights that your mind strings together into the forms of letters, words, sentences, and your idea of a 'post'.

2. It's always shown that for me. On the old vB default before the upgrade it showed how many posts you had beside your name anyway.

1) Nothing, really. ^^;; It sometimes reminds me of all my good memories back when I first began to post here at TPM. Other than that, my amount of posts doesn't mean anything significant to me. It is just another number, proving that I should get off of my chair and do something productive other than posting so much, hehe. Though I think that it is neat when you pass every thousand posts. I just wish I got $20 for every post. XD

2) Huh? That? I don't mind it being there, not at all. ^^' I usually tend to ignore it, except if I notice that I'm getting close to a big number. What is there to care about anyway, Hunter? XD I think it would be amusing if anyone was annoyed by that. (No offense!)
