When I was going to college, all my friends there watched the videos from www. homestarrunner. com

The stuff there was pretty funny, but I don't know it it was a 'fad' or not.

That 'l33t' stuff was annoying back in the day. I got here in the midst of all of that and left before it supposedly went out. Now that i re-joined I've seen some minor instances of it, but I don't think any of it was serious.

All Your Base was pretty good. goatse/tubgirl/lemonparty aren't really that funny in their own right, but watching peoples' reactions after seeing them for the first time is very lollable.

There's not really been (m)any internet fads out there, at least not that many for me to distinguish between one that I would consider to be 'the best fad.'

I don't really have one. Maybe something will strike in the future.

Quite confusing, it was. I liked the 1337 speak and how popular it became. Back then, anyway. Now it is annoying and sad. Heh, I can't believe that everyone used to speak that way. ^^;; All Your Base was quite amusing also, in my opinion.. wow, internet fads are very sad once you think about them 3 years later, hehe.
