TPM's Battle Royale: Sign-ups [Mature]

Before anyone jumps to conclusions, this is NOT like the RPG tournament. Those of you who have heard of Battle Royale will know what I'm talking about.


You are an average, everyday student at T.P. Masters High School. Everyday you get up, go to school, do your work, (...well, MOST of you do, anyway...) and hang out with your friends. Nothing really out of the ordinary ever happens.
On one not-so-special day (as far as you know), you get up and go to school as usual. However, when you enter the RPG classroom and sit down, you notice that there is a strange man in a black business suit standing at the front of the room where the teacher would normally be. He explains that your class has been "randomly" chosen to participate in the Battle Royale competition. the word "Competition" sparks your interest. You've always loved contests! You prop your chin up on your hands and listen attentively. However, as he continues his explaination, you realize that this is no normal competition.
The man in black tells you that your entire class will be taken to a remote island far off the coast. There, you will all be given a weapon...and nothing else. You must survive by engaging in life-or-death matches with your classmates until there is only one left standing. Those who refuse to fight will be killed. He pauses and pushes his sunglasses farther up the bridge of his nose. He finishes by stating that everyone is required to participate. You have no choice.
You're confounded and it shows in your face. Was this guy crazy or something?! Or was this just some kind of sick joke? You decide to go with the latter and rule it off as some stupid school prank. Your fellow classmates seem to think so as well, as they murmur things like: "Yeah, right!" and "Whatever, dude..." The man in black stares around at the class's disbelieving faces and simply smiles, pushing his hair back away from his face. He snaps his fingers and instantly about half a dozen men dressed in military garb come rushing into the room with loaded rifles. You are so shocked and confused that you don't make a sound and freeze in your place. The rest of the class has similar reactions.
"As I said..." says the man in black, "you have no choice. In this competition there is only one rule: Kill....or BE Killed. From now on that is the only decision you have to make. You will all come us now."
As the class slowly and nervously files out you think to yourself. What am I going to do? Is this for real? How am I going to survive?

How will YOU handle the challenge? Will you dive right in and willing kill off your friends and classmates? Will you rebel and refuse to kill? Maybe you'll try to form an alliance in a desparate attempt to survive? But one thing is for sure, and that is that eventually you will have to come to turns with the cruel reality of the Battle Royale:
In order to live, you must kill.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING-UP!
1. You will be signing up as yourself (your TPM self). You may make yourself look however you like as long as it is realistic.
2. This RPG is rated [Mature] because of its graphic nature. I except that there will be some very "detailed" descriptions and gorey moments (in fact, I'm ENCOURAGING them...hee hee). There WILL be killing (because that's how Battle Royale works, dammit!) So those of you with weak constitutions should back out now. Although if you've read this far, I'll assume that means you're still interested. You must be ! Good...excellent...
3. Posts in this RPG will be similar to those in other RPGs, you post from your point of view and interact with others. In order for a battle to take place, you must place a Challenge with your post leading up to it. The format is as follows:
CHALLENGE: (your name) VS (somebody else)
Once the other person replies and accepts, the fight begins. Each person posts their point of view in the fight. I will read both and decide the winner based on how well the post the written. (at this point I will make an OOC post to end the fight). The winner moves on and the loser...well...the loser dies. (not to worry, those who die will be given an oppourtunity to do...other things...) If you are challenged and do not make some sort of reply within 3 days, you will automatically forfit and I will let the other person finish you off. this is too make sure that everyone who signs-up posts. That way the RPG will keep on moving. So WARNING: If you don't post, the RPG will move on without you. (And there was much rejoicing. *Yaaaay!*)
4. Posts should be detailed, interactive and emotional. I want to make this interesting. I don't want it to end up like: "YAAARG! Bob KILL! Bob SMASH! You all is DEAD! HAHAHA!!" This is supposed to be story-esqe with losts of fighting and blood and stuff (Hurrah!), but there should also be some form of plot (Plot? What plot? When do we get to KILL people?). In fact, to make it more interesting, forming alliances is encouraged (even though those alliances will eventually break as trust wavers and suspicions rise...), it'll make things more interesting.
5. Play it out however you like, but remember that the RPG will not end until there is only one person left. Unless, of course, you all think of a.."better" way to end it. But I'll be the judge of that.
6. Other than that there are no rules except: KILL!

If you've read through all that (haha! Yeah right! Like anyone WILL!) and are still interested you should report immedietly to the nearest mental hospital. but make sure it's one with computer access so you can fill out this simple form:

Description: Put your physical and clothing description here. As I said before you don't have to be completely honest about your looks, but DO try and be realistic here. (This means no tails, wings, or other non-human features, and no out of date clothing like Knights armour or kimono's...unless of course you wear these kinda of things in your normal, everyday life, and if you do then I pray for you.)
Weapon of Choice: Once again, please be reasonable. I don't want crazy s*** like nukes or rocket-lauchers or flamethrowers. Keep it simple (Ex: Gun, sword, lead pipe, pointy stick...etc, etc, etc,).
Other: Anything special you want us to know about?

Well that's about it. There's no maximum limit on sign-ups but I want to get at least 10 to make it interesting. This is my first RPG in quite a while so I apologize if it sux...

Personality: She has a split personality. Sometimes she is very show-offy, headstrong, and talkative. She loves to be the center of attention and does everything she can to stay in the spotlight. On the other hand, sometimes she can be very cold and dark. It's when her true emotions are showing. She doesn't like to be around anyone and doesn't trust them. Because she can switch unexpectedly, it makes people who she might have become warm with feel shadowed and unwanted. It makes her look very cruel and undeserving of companionship in those around her's eyes. She is a paradox, sometimes bouncy and happy, sometimes serious and cold.
Description: Dark golden/brown hair that is thick and wavy that is about an inch shorter then her chin. Her eyes are a pale amber and are not that big a contrast from the color of her hair. She stands at around 5"4, and has a decently athletic body (because she bikes alot). She wears a sleevless black V-neck shirt. And form fitting jeans with a leather-imatation belt that has metal rings in it.

just a question, though...wouldn't we all have to be around the same age? i mean, we're in the same class, which means we must be in the same grade. assuming that since she's 15, and i'm always a year behind everyone else, i will be 14. that puts everyone in the same class, and the same grade. might you want to mention that? it's not my real age though. i won't be 14 until my birthday, in 1 month and 7 6 days. o.O

And about the age thing, if you noticed, the high school is based on TPM, so there is no set age. It's a very mixed class....^^() Besides, this is an RPG and the rules of life do not apply. And also...because I say so! MWAHAHAHA!!!

(P.S. Actually, Agatha Christie's book was called "Ten Little Indians", the movie was called And Then There Were None. But I agree with you, it's a good story!)

Personality: Hmm... B4 has a rather complex personality. She's rather optimistic and bright, or at least she tries to be to the very best. However, despite all the optimism and smiles, deep down she feels a struggle to compensate her needs, which she doesn't always know what she exactly needs to make her happy which can cause frustration. B4 gets hurt easily, and if people are mean towards others or they are cruel towards her, she can get very defensive and pent up some emotion. However, she's indescive and easily manipulated on the fact that she feels guilty very easily. however, she's just overall a cheery, smiley-faced girl... with an inner mystery.
Description: She stands about 5'8, with a toned, halfway between fair to tan skin. Her body stature is rather built with an athletic accent, and her legs are probably the most muscular feature about her. (hey, you wanted honesty. ^^; ) Her hair is long, hanging past her collar bone slightly and always having a slight wave to it. It's color is a mixture of rich brown to light blonde, scattered all over to give a sense of many hues. Her eyes are a piercing, rather intense ice water blue, with dark blue circlets bordering the icy blue inside. Her eye lashes and eye brows however are naturally black, making her blue eyes stand out even further (and suggesting that her hair color will eventually turn darker come of age.) She wears comfortable, light blue jean shorts that are a bit faded in the front but not so much to cause attention to them. Her shirt is a black tank top, that fits to her form perfectly and has a small outline of a highway sign towards the front, middle collar of her tank top which says, "Route 39" upon it, but it is no bigger than the size of a folded in half dollar bill. Around her neck is a silver necklace, with a small silver ring around it that usually remains tucked inside. For shoes, she wears Nike Sandals that are water proof and hug to her feet tightly and are black in color.
Weapon of Choice: Two, slightly long forked daggers. They have blades that resemble a mini sword, but they have a slight knotch towards the upper middle part of their blade (like a fish hook, except curling upwards instead of a straight, down jagged edge.) The handles are black. ^^;
Other: She hates the fight... but her emotions are all pent up, and if they get a chance to come out... additudes might change.

Personality: Despite his appearance, very easygoing and laid back. Prides himself on his physical condition and athleticism. Doesn't like to fight, but will defend himself if attacked. Fights dirty when he does combat, which is rarely, uses everything he could possibly use to 'cheat' in a sense. He believes that there is no such thing as a fair fight, and that any advantage that brings him out alive should be taken.
Description: 6'0, male, Caucasian. A medium build, wears a black sleeveless shirt and black jean-shorts with long black socks that go up to his knee. Each sock has a green stripe on the side. Wears black Lopez Circa's, suspenders made of chain, and just the shoulders of rugby shoulder pads. Rugby shoulder pads are just small hard leather cups that fit over the shoulders; they are attached to each other with two leather straps that cross on the chest and back underneath the clothing. These shoulder pads are black. Has an angular jaw and defined cheekbones, black lipstick, black nail-polish and a short black Mohawk.
Weapon of Choice: A large two handed scythe with a black-painted, hardened-wood (teehee, hard-wood) handle. The blade is made of steel and is polished and sharpened to perfection.
Other: Is a cannibal, but can control his craving for flesh easily.

The funny thing is, just about everything about the appearance is me, except for the height (I'm 5'10/5'11), shoulder pads and makeup-- I had a Mohawk a couple months ago.

I have one question: When we combat someone, do we post us killing them, or just putting them into a position where we can then finish them off? If it's the killing them, then you'd just rule out the post that 'lost', so to speak-- I was just wondering.

Description: Short dark brown hair with a quiff at the front. Blue eyes. Just over 6'. Not fit but muscular in a sense. His clothes will be a sleeveless white lightweight shirt and above that a navy blue Hawaiian shirt with dark blue palm trees on the back. He is also wearing 3/4 beige trousers and beach sandals.
Weapon of Choice: Electric Walrus. What? I can't have that? Okay then, how about a chain. About 4 ft long.
Other: Has a secret crush on...*gasp* B4.

Personality: Red feels uncomfortable around strangers, but is very outgoing around people he does know. He's not a violent person by nature, although that could change if his survival is a risk. Red also feels a sense of inferiority, since he was never the most popular person at the school, and that could lead to jealousy.
Description: Red stands about 6' tall, with a light build. He doesn't have an overly great deal of physical strength, but he makes up for it with great endurance. His skin is a slightly tanned white, and both his eyes and hair are a dark brown color. He can usually be found in a t-shirt, khaki pants, and hiking shoes.
Weapon of Choice: Throwing knives about 10" long, with about 4" of that taken up by the handle, which is painted white. The blades are serrated, with little barbs pointing towards the handle to make then difficult to pull out.
Other: Nothing right now.

Redundancy means that you repeat the same thing over and over again in similar ways. In your case EX: You mentioned: "She won't fight" many times, try using different terms such as: "Since she's a peaceful person" or "despises battle." things like that.

She's slightly avoidant and shy when she meets people, and only really opens up once she thinks she can trust them and/or knows them well.

Her eyes are a blue-gray, with glasses only framed on top. Her skin is quite pale, she sunburns easily. She wears slightly flared blue jeans, and a white, elbow-length shirt with a neckline that almost hugs her shoulders, but is a bit above, with white socks and sneakers. Her ears are pierced with two small diamonds, and she has a silver chain bracelet with silver heart charms.
Weapon of Choice: A metal pipe that's around seven feet in height and sharped at one end. It's light enough to be carried without a huge strain, but isn't exactly light.

Just a thought, but does it not worry anyone else that Lulu's character has a gun? Aside from being an unfair advantage, there are two other issues: First, is she going to have an eternal stockpile of ammunition, too? And second, by logic and following the backstory of this RPG, I hardly think anybody would have provided Lulu with a gun. In my opinion, it's just too "technological" for this type of RPG.

Weapon: a three foot sword which he wields with suprising speed and precisio.
