Amy (Nala98/Wolfsong) - Probably the best friend I have from TPM. I got to know her when we were in ASB about a year ago; I reffed a battle for her and we just started talking on AIM after that. Now we talk pretty much every day; she's really nice and we share some of the same interests.

Kris (Angel Blossom) - Well, we've sure had our ups and downs. She's also one of the nicest people I've ever known, though she can be a little sensitive at times. I don't really remember how we first got to know eachother at all. I'd feel comfortable telling her just about anything, though.

I think that electricity is the most important thing humans have invented. Pretty much everything we do today uses it - watching TV, posting a reply to this poll, turning on a light, or even driving to work/school. I really think we'd still be stuck in the middle ages if it weren't for electricity.

Well, technically I've been on TPM since May of last year. In reality I've been on for around a week. I lost interest in Pokemon for a while and the interest came back recently so I'm here. So I don't really know anyone that much. So you could say that I have no friends on TPM, hopefullly that'll change though.

I would have to say that fire is the best invention. I'm not sure if it counts excatly but it's what I think. Without fire the world today (or even the world of 2000 years ago) would not exist as it does/was. Fire allowed us to mold the world to our liking. Without it food could not be cooked, bricks could not be made, metal could not be shaped (well that is), man could not have lived for more then a few centuries without it (well... maybe more, but you get the point). What I'm saying is that nothing today could have existed without fire.

mr_pikachu. I've known him since I posted the first chapter of my first fic (or later). His advice has helped me improve my writing skills, so my battles would be total messes without him.

Tsukasa has been my RP'ing buddy during the RP'ing days. I still PM him every once in a while.

And last but not least, the mods of AC/CC. I couldn't single out one because you've all been so patient with me! And I'm not just kissing up.

I have a few best friends at TPM that are mostly in AC/CC because this is where I hang out now unless I feel the need to help someone on some other Pokemon game. The first friend I made here must have been Gabi (Lady Vulpix) because she was the first person I spoke to after adopting my first Pokemon. I soon became friends with Kris (Angel Blossom), Kyle (Syberia), and Matt (Matt) just by talking to them here and being really friendly. When Eric (Gothic Animé) joined in at AC/CC I spoke to him and we soon became friends. I soon spoke with Amy (Wolfsong) because I had an idea for AC/CC and we soon became good friends because she's a really nice person to others. Danny (Aipom of Doom) became friends with me when I became a Worker at Buena's Radio Show and I think he's a good guy. I'm also friends with Eamon (Silver Ledian) because we just started talking one day and became friends. You could say most of AC/CC are my best friends and that's probably true because I'm not mean to others and I'm happy to have more friends. I would class them all as best friends because they're always here at AC/CC and are happy to talk with me if I suggested something or just want to talk with them.

I think the best invention for me and many other people would have to be electricity. It basically gives power to my computer, TV, game consoles, and many other things around the house. So without electricity I wouldn't live because I need to play my games more than anything or go on the computer to talk to other people. We need lights at night to see around the house and if we go out to see the street we're walking down. Without electricity we would be working off some low powered source like doing things manually or using bare flames for lighting.

I have a lot of friends that i talk too. (I'm half asleep as i type this) i'll just say the ones that i talk to on a regular basis. Gabi, its been a long while, I'm not exactly sure how we first started talking, but i'm thinking it had something to do with the AC/CC. I do remember pmming her once with a question. We have a lot of the same interests, and we seem to think along the same lines sometimes. Then there's Steve (Dark Dragonite). We met sometime when the bt was opened, and we just started talkign one day. Gradually, we became closer, and i even talked to him on the phone, but i guess we drifted apart. At least we're still friends. Becca I think it was either asb or here in pcg where we first met. I'm not good at rememberng how long, i've known people x.x. But, I do know this, she's easy to talk to and one of the people that i enjoy talking with. Kyle (Syberia) Like he said, we just started talking one day, and now we talkl just about every day. Karin, I also talk with whenever i see her. I think we met in asb, and now that shes active in pcg and all. I talk with her whenever i see her online. i also talk frequently with others such as [i]Danny, Eamon, classy_cat, andy, and qutie a few that i would like to mention but i don't want to take up pages and pages of time ^^;

I'd have to say electricity. If it wasn't for that, hospitals couldn't save people's lives as easily as they can now. It also enables us to cook foods, have entertainment, see when its dark outside, and a lot of other things.

I don't think I've bought any second-hand goods before o_O I like to get things new ^_^ I have sold some, though - like at a yard sale or something, lol. Just today we had a yard sell and I sold some video tape lol. I had the DVD so I don't care.

Hm.. I have a few best friends at TPM First, there's Tyler (Avian Freeze). We've known each other for a year or so, lol. I just decided to message him one day and we've been talking ever since ^_^. He doesn't come to TPM anymore but we talk on AIM whenever he's on. He hasn't been on lately though I guess it's because he's watching Naruto, lol.

Then there's Anita ^_^ she just rox ma sox ^_~ we met in the ac/cc like last year i think :x I messagead her because I was reffing her battle and then we started to be friends ^_^ now we talk almost everyday She's really fun to talk to and she has a lot of the same interests as me!!

Then there's poptartsrox :x she hasn't come here for a while because people ran her off, but she's really cool! We met like 3 years ago or something o_O I don't even remember how, lol. One day she just showed up and we've been friends ever since that day!! We don't really talk much now, though. She's pretty nice and stuff ^_~

Finally, there's Nate (Systematic Revolution). I don't even remember how we met o_O I guess we met in ummmm a while back, lol. then we started talking and now we talk whenever ^_^ i haven't talked to him in a few weeks though :x I don't even know what made us friends o_O shrug

I have some other friends like Frank, Sean, Trip, Andy, Amy, Kyle (Syberia), Sam (Crystal Mew), but the ones I listed above are the closet ^_^

My closest friends from TPM are Rio (Pichu Luver) and David ( Mastermysterious). They're both pretty much lurkers these days but I talk to both of them all the time, when they're on MSN.

I met Rio in my second month at the boards, in May 2001. It was actually at the TPM Dating Agency game but it got relatively inactive so I just asked her if she wanted to be my TPM G/F and she said yeah. Since then we've dropped the B/F/G/F thing and now we're just best friends. We've sent each other letters and presents in the mail and it's just been great having such a great online friend.

I actually met David when he worked at the Goldenrod Tower back in 2001, when there was no AC/CC sub-forum. I posted every now and again at the Tower but nothing major...and this was all before the polls were introduced to the Tower, so I felt guilty because it seemed like I was spamming with '1MG please'. We talk on MSN all the time too and the three of use have built up a great friendship together. Pity that they both live in Canada and I'm all the way over the Atlantic :/

I have been to hospital long ago when a brick was thrown into my head by accident and it started bleeding badly. I didn't like waiting in the waiting room for 2 hours because I had a really bad headache and my head was still bleeding. At the end of waiting the doctor just sprayed my head and it got better like magic, no need for anything else to be done. Still waiting ages just for a bit of sprayed to be put on it seems stupid to me.

I've been to the hospital a couple of times that i can remember, but i've never stayed overnight. The first time was when i had broken my arm, the doctor sent me to Memphis to the hospital to get a cast put on. It was such a clean break that they never even set it, they just put the cast on. The secodn time was last June, when i had to have some tests run on my stomach. It was shrtly before it was discovered that i had a hernia.

The only time I've really been in hospital for something is when I came down with the German Measles when I was only 6 months old. My parents rushed my to hospital because I began to turn blue. Since then, I haven't really been in hospital for things to do with myself because I've never had any kind of injury. I've visited various family members on many occasions though, like when my cousins were born or when my grandparents weren't feeling well. I don't like blood/sickness or anything so I definately hope I won't be in the hospital much when I'm older either ^^; Hopefully I'll stay healthy.

Yeah, I've been put in the hospital a couple of times. I had a seizure so I had to stay in there for a week or so. The stay was pretty rad because there were some nice video games to play and it was cool to have people waiting on me and all that stuff ;o the only thing I really didn't like about it was when they put the IVs and stuff in my arm *shrug* I liked it, but I don't think I would want to go back for a little while :x

Well I once went in the hospital because I had to have ear tubes put in my ear. I was a little hard on hearing so I went in, they knocked me uncouncious , put them in and that was that. They were in for around four months I think, fortunately they were impossible to see, before I got them out and now I can hear, not perfectly, but well enough to hear what I need to hear.

The last time I went to the hospital was in January right after I had been hit by a car. I rode there in an ambulance right after the guy hit me. Somehow I managed to not break any bones, and apparently it cut a nerve in my legs so I didn't actually feel much pain at all. On top of that, I got $5,000 from the guy's insurance settlement, so I guess I did alright from it. That's not to say I like hospital stays, though. What kind of silly question is that, have you ever wanted to be in a hospital? Of course not. It usually means there's something wrong with you or you got hurt somehow.

(6/28) Out of all the diseases some people in the world could be suffering from, which would you most like to cure? Why? What makes curing this one better than curing any other one?

There are so many terrible diseases in the world today that it is difficult to choose just one. However, since one is the limit I shall choose one of the most lethal diseases out there today, Heart Disease. In 2000 it killed 945,836 people in just the USA alone, and who knows how many world wide. While 1 in 29 women's deaths are from Breast Cancer, 1 in 2.4 are from Cardiovascular Disease. This isn't just something that kills in one smooth blow were the victim feels nothing, no this is a slow killer which can kill in months, years, or even decades, with the people involved struggling daily to just make it to bed that night and waking up the next morning. This disease attacks the veins, arteries, heart, and brain to name parts of it and slowly shuts them down my clogging them, destroying them, and causes other horrible damage to them. I just wish that there was a way to permanently cure it, but there isn't.\

I'd say cancer. There are many diferent forms, and the affects not only the people that it strikes but also the family members as well. My grandmother beat cancer though she had ot have a kidney removed. My grandad on the same side had it and died from cancer though he never told anyone not even my grandma that he had it. I'd like to spare people the loss of losing loved ones to cancer, or the worries that go along with it someone that you know and love is battling it.

(6/26) What do you honestly thing has been the best invention and why? The computer? The TV? Electricity? Or something else...if you could only pick one.

I'm going to say electricity because of it's obvious uses, and because without it, none of those other options would be able to work xD Um, and it's useful because without it, we'd probably freeze to death (electric fires..ok, so there are the traditional sort, but still), not see anything (lights), get bored out of our minds at times (no tv, computers, music) etc.

(6/27) Have you ever been put in the hospital for anything? If so, for what and did you like your stay? If not, have you ever wished to stay in one for whatever reason? Why/Why not.

A number of times, though the worst two were;
-I think I was a couple of weeks old, I couldn't swallow anything and needed an emergency operation on my stomach, or I'd probably have died. Can't remember anything about it, but I've still got the scar.
-When I was about six/seven, I got a large lump on my neck, didin't know what it was, had to have it surgically removed. The stay wasn't that bad, one of the doctors there 'operated' on my favourite toy, to fix a hole in his neck, which was cute. Though I did have an awful night when I rolled over and the tube in my neck fell out >_< Disgusting.

(6/28 ) Out of all the diseases some people in the world could be suffering from, which would you most like to cure? Why? What makes curing this one better than curing any other one?

I'm going to say malaria, because of the fact that it's major killer, yet the vecotrs (the female anopheles (sp?) mosquito) cannot be truely killed off, due to it only needs a minority to resist the current treatement. Then they'll breed, and you'll need to come up with a new one to try and stop them. And so on and so forth.
I'm not sure why making this one be cured is any better than curing any others (is there really a choice that is? o_O), but maybe because it mainly affects thrid world countries, which don't have the resources to fund the research themselves, and so must rely on the larger, more rich countries, as if they need any more reliance. Plus, I think the richer countries aren't that bothered with the research anyway because it doesn't effect them.
Quick note: Sorry if any of that is (obviously) wrong, it's coming from memory, and I don't want to check inacse I get panicky about what I wrote in my biology exam^_^

I just thought that there's a lot to chose from that kill many people. I would most like to cure cancer because I can't remember exactly but I'm sure many people have it and this isn't fair on them. Some cancers kill and are uncurable but luckily some can be cured. So I would like the uncurable ones to become curable and this would make many more people's lives happier. I would saying curing this disease is better than any others because some forms of it are uncurable and are just killing too many people.

Personally, I think curing cancer would be the most important. A lot of people in my family have cancer, so it would be really cool if I could cure them of it. Plus, many many people have it in the world, and it would be wnice to not have to worry about the medicine you take during the cancer treatments not working. I think it's more important to cure this one because a lot of people have it in the world and it's really tough to get over. But I guess it doesn't win against AIDs when you're talking about how many people have it, lol.
