A question about shinies
I have just caught a shiny Linoone(male) and my question is: If I breed it with my female Absol, is it possible that I will get a Shiny Absol from the egg? I have 2 eggs that hatched in normal Absols...
Thanks in advance for the answers

A question about shinies
It could, but it would take a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong, long time.
In G/S/C you could do it easily, but they removed that.

A question about shinies

A question about shinies
In G/S/C, shinyness was decided by a Pokémon's DVs, which also determined its personal max stats. By breeding a shiny Pokémon with a non-shiny, there would be a 1 in 64 chance of getting a shiny baby. However, in G/S/C, two shiny Pokémon could not be bred together.
In Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen, shinyness is decided by a random hidden value. This value is totally random, and breeding will not have any effect. There will always be about a 1 in 8192 chance of getting a shiny Pokémon no matter what you do, whether you look for them in the wild or breed shiny Pokémon. However, unlike in G/S/C, you can breed two shiny Pokémon together, but it still won't increase you odds of getting a shiny.
