Evanescence is just over hyped because there is a girl in the band. If you compare Evanescence todays "rock" bands, then yea, Evanescence is pretty good. But thats not saying much. What I hate is that Evanescence seems to be perpetuating the same old fake goth.

Nirvana is overrated in that there are a lot of people who claim that Nirvana is the greatest band of all time, which is of course silly and far from the truth. But they are pretty damn good.
