What the Hell are you talking about? Nintendo screwed Square, and Capcom has been working closely with Nintendo for years now. As a matter of fact, Capcom been working on Zelda games with Nintendo since the Oracle series.

The PS2 hyped itself because everyone loved the PS1 so much. And I think it shows how Microsoft was able to build hype where it took a system that everyone thought was stillborn and made it #2 in the world.

I'm most probably going to buy the DS first.

I've always been a big nintendo fan and I always get their systems first

Nintendo DS, since it will most likely support future Pokemon games.

It being able to make free wireless phone calls is also a plus too.

    Default Nintendo DS or PSP???

Despite i ve been a Nintendo user throught my life . Certaindly i have to give my vote to the PSP . Nintendo great attracting people and doing marketing but yes i must accept they bring very good titles like Zelda series . Thats one of the strong points of the company . But when matching the Nintendo DS and PSP handhelds .Sony goes, Nintendo DS seens cheaper imo PSP got the looks of a adult gadget . Of the reviews i heard on IGN PSP has a better graphics much better than DS . (some people say Nintendo DS will have Nintendo 64 graphics and in the other hand PSP Playstation 2 Graphics quite astonoushing) . I cant seen my way in need of 2 LCD Screens, Price is Pherhaps the con of Sony some said it will be 300 bucks while the DS will be cheaper 150 bucks. Quite rasonable for the performance . PSP will work with Disks making it supossely better for programmers and DS will stuck again on cartridges. And as far as screen resolution a read PSP was better.

I just can say that we have to wait and see what the 2 companys deliver ; for me . I like Nintendo Legacy , But Sony Performance fits me better. While both are on 150-300 USD price range it will scare some pockets (Mine yes , i consider both kind of expensive for being a handheld and not a home console).

I'd rather have a cart then some small disc snapping in my pocket.

"Sony Performance fits me better" would that be the same performance that had Sony recalling so many of there PS2's due to a fault?

Well i really like disk media , its just about for personal preference .About what sony had made with the PS2 performance i cant give an opinion since i dont own a PS2, i own a Gamecube . The Fact that i like more the PSP , is because of what is said to offer and the looks.

DS all the way... it has the capability of playing zelda and pokemon games... that's pretty much all I need :p besides, I think cartridges are better in this format... all they added to the PSP is just marketing...

Discs for a portable is a stupid idea. My GBA is a rough-and-tumble device. Don't need no wimpy disc to worrk about.

And the PS2 costs $150. I'm not paying double to carry it in my pocket (oops! Can't do that, because the screen would get scratched).

You have to think while PSP might have near PS2 graphics that doesn't mean anything. The gamegear had color and backlight capablities when the gameboy was still green and black, you know what? Gamegear got ate alive because the technology wasn't ready. PSP is supose to have horid battery life, and discs are fragile, not something you want in a handheld.

The PSP is acceptable as far as gaming is concerned. Battery life is currently 10 hours for gaming. Not up to Nintendo's standards, but good.

The thing just bites serious amounts of ass when it comes to the other bells and whistles. Buying new versions of my DVDs just to play on it? I have to buy another battery if I want to watch longer movies without pausing to get new batteries? From what I here, the other stuff on the PSP would be nice, but as of now is not worth the $300. Maybe if everything functioned, but currently it's a no-go.

There's nothing official on the DS in terms of launch, which has me worried. I think even now we had a price point for the Cube. This thing HAS to launch by November now, which leads me to think it'll be a lackluster debut that'll pick up steam later on.

    Default Nintendo DS or PSP???

Before i start i am a converted GC fanboy
DS because of the innovation and Nintendo seems to have got quite a few third party developers to make games, Nintendo is good enough for me but withthird party developers as well, many quality games, PictoChat looks great, Cadecus looks like a great game (Virtual Operation!) I dont trust Sony as their products seem to break easily in the experience that i have had, i dont like the idea of paying out for a memory stick.

The graphics are the only redeeming feature of the PSP but on a mall screen it will be hard to see the difference, one thing i was thinking about is... PSP is capable of toned down PS2 games whereas DS is capable of games better than N64, considering the N64 was graphically the best in it's generation and PS2 is the worst there wont be a massive difference

BTW Metal Gear Solid should not be made into a card game

Information might have changed, but last I hear the PSP's graphics only looked PS2-like because of the small screen. I heard something about it being more powerful than the DS, but that it could makes graphics appear PS2-like since it had such a small screen to fill.

From the screenshots I saw (such as GT4 Mobile), I'd say that is a fairly large different between that, and say Mario 64x4.

I probably won't be getting either one. I like my 2D games on my SP. :]

    Default Nintendo DS or PSP???

The 4th Generation Pokemon Games (Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, horrible names) were announced today for the DS, and will be released sometime late next year or so.

I will buy the DS for several reasons: 1) it WILL have better games (read first line). 2) it's cheaper. 3) It has longer battery life, comparable to the SPs, while Sony refused to comment on the PSPs battery life. 4) The touch screen and microphone are great ideas, and it looks that they are actually going to be used fully. Every DS game revealed uses them in one way or the other, while some depend on them.

But the PSP looks amazing... too bad it's price is going to be $200-$300

Oh dear god they're terrible names if what you say is true.

    Oh god it is true.

Anyways, still waiting for the DS. I'm just waiting for people to start complaining when their little discs snap inside their pockets after buying their super 'leet' PSP's.
