2) I've had my Converse for about 3 1/2 months, but I've had my Etnies for about 9 months.

1. Mostly Nike, but I do wear Converse on occasions.

2. I've had the Nikes for four or five months, but Converse...that's over a year old.

3. Nikes are simply blue and grey, Converse are black high tops.

5. I at least sometimes use 5 out of the 6 that fit me. The sixth pair are simply a hybrid of tennis shoes and snow boots, and because I moved to Florida...no more goodness. ;-;

1.) I wear Nike shoes. They were cheap and are pretty sturdy and decent looking.
2.) I have them for around a year now. I also wear shoes till they fall apart.

1. It doesn't matter to me. I just buy anything that looks wearable, that is not ugly and fits...
2. The Champion shoes that I have right now, I bought quite recently, probably in mid-October.

5. I pretty much always own 4 pairs. Winter boots, "outside" shoes, "formal" shoes, and my dress shoes for chorus concerts.
6. No. When I buy a pair of shoes it's because I feel as though I would be comfortable wearing them every day.
7. Um.. I think I was 8 because I remember in first grade our teacher used to have this thing where the kids could go over to the teacher and the teacher would tie their shoes, and I believe I finally learned how (it took all night and I had to practice on my sister's old shoes) when I was in the middle of first grade.

I wear a few different brands. Caterpillar, Converse, Doc Martens and some random other companies which aren't famous and I don't know the name of. My trainers are made by some company which aren't well known and I have a pair of walking boots (which I bought because I liked, not because I actually go hiking or anything) which I simply can't remember the name of.

2) How long have you have them?
I've had the Caterpillar boots since the summer because I wear them to school. My Converse boots I got for my birthday last year so they're nearly 14 months old or so... My Doc Martens are now about 9 months old I think... I don't wear them as much, because as they're blue, a lot of neds and stuff make fun of them if I wear them in public. I think they think that tatty old trainers or something are a lot cooler since that's what they all wear...

3) What color are they?
Caterpillars are light brown (a lot of them are - they're the boots that a lot of construction workers wear), Converse are black, Doc Martens are blue, trainers are grey/black, and my other boots are dark blue.

4) Do you have special shoelaces or do you keep the originals?
I usually keep the original shoelaces because I'm not terribly bothered about getting any new ones. Even if the shoelaces are too long or too short I keep them anyway because they match the shoe itself, so they don't look stupid or anything. Besides I never see shoelaces in the shops...

5) How many pairs of shoes do you actually own?
You could count from my answer to question 3, but that'd be pointless... I have 5.

6) Have you ever bought a pair of shoes you know you'll never wear?
I can't remember doing that. I make sure that if I buy shoes then I'll wear them for whatever occasion - That and the fact that when I was younger my parents would make very very sure that I wanted those shoes. As Alex said it'd be a waste of money if I were to buy shoes and not wear them. And if I ever did that I'd just feel stupid for wasting my money.

7) How old were you when you learned to tie your shoes?
I think I was either 5 or 6. I seem to remember doing it when I first went into school, but I also remember a table that my teacher for my second year of primary school put up to see who could and couldn't tie their laces... I'm honestly not sure.

I have absolutely no idea because I've never heard of those terms before.

I learned the wrap-around first. Then when I was nine or so I learned to tie the shoes quicker with the bunny ears :tongue:

My favorite brand is Air Jordans. But I basically wear any sneaker I find nice, be it some DCs or Nike Air Force 1s. I love sneakers. xD

Right now I have 7 pairs that I rotate, but my earliest pair would be the Air Jordan 12s I got last January.

3) What color are they?
The 12s are french blue/white, 12 lows are white/pink, Dickies are red/white, Jordan 7s are Olympic edition (so US colors), Jordan 19 lows are black/red, Nike FCs are black/blue (with glow in the dark soles), Jordan 8s are white/red/black.

4) Do you have special shoelaces or do you keep the originals?
I have silly shoelaces in the Dickies, but the rest of them have the orginal laces.

Besides the 7 pairs of sneakers, I have 2 pairs of Timberland boots and 1 pair of dressy shoes (basically just used for church or whatever.. I don't like dressing up).

The dressy shoes. I basically wear them 2-3 times a month when I go to church.

Asics: White and blue. Shimanos: Brown and black. Slippers: light brown. Tevas: blackn and yellowbrown.

Too much trouble to change 'em, so the originals. Unless they wear out before the shoes do.

Running shoes: 2 pair. Biking shoes: 2 pair. Slippers: 1 pair. Sandals: 1 pair. High English Riding Boots: 1 pair. Western Cowboy boots: 1 pair. Soft riding shoes: 1 pair. Muck boots: 1 pair. Dress sandals: 1 pair.

No. I routinely wear all the shoes listed above except my second pair of biking shoes (they are spares), and the dress sandals, which are only for formal occaisions.

6 or 7. Around there, anyway.

One word: Velcro and double knot the bows.

5.Errrr...without going round counting, I reckon about 12 pairs, maybe a few more. I've just had to chuck twopairs out cos they've gone in holes and one pair was one of my favourite pairs.
