Well, it’s been a while since anything’s progressed much. Guess the RPG forum is REALLY slowing down. Unfortunately. I hope you all still want to continue, despite the fact that Summer-Winter has a tendency to steer us away from our computers, but none-the-less.

The chaos at the sacrificial grounds continued. Forest Dragons fought with Forest Dragons as the Pendant Bearers scattered for their lives.

Saké, Setsuna, and Amal had already been scooped up by the Female Forest Dragons, taken over the tree tops.

Kage, Horus, Sora, Faile, Vared, Seyelin, Elena, Zera, Chamel, and Rika were still scrounging around the ground, trying to avoid the mesh of claws and wings bearing down on them.

Chamel held onto Rika’s hand as he tried to lead her through the buffeting wings and the deafening roars of the Dragon’s squabbling above them.

“Hang on Rika!” Chamel reassured her as he held his left arm up to protect his eyes and head. “We’ll get outta this!”

As that was said, A Green Dragon dropped down in front of Chamel and Rika. This one lacked the leafy fringes of the others and was smaller.

The Dragon lowered his head and roared at Chamel and Rika, causing the small girl to grab onto Chamel’s torso. The Chameleon Demi-Human gritted his teeth and readied himself to defend, but without his Masumoon, it was going to be difficult.

The Dragon reared its long neck back into an s-curve, readying to bite. Chamel spun, picked up the young girl in his arms and jumped off, just as the Dragon’s open maw burst forward, and clamped onto the ground where Chamel once was.

“Heh,” the Chameleon smirked. “Gotta be faster than that!” Rika was still clutching onto Chamel’s shirt as he continued to avoid being snatched up. The Demi-Human turned back to the direction he was running, only to run right into one of the larger Forest Dragons with the leafy fringes. The sudden stop sent Chamel on his butt once again.

The Dragon looked at Chamel and Rika, huddling against him. Then in a soft fluid motion, picked them both up in its clawed hands and took off.

“Let us go you over-grown lizard!” Chamel protested, trying to beat on the dragon’s hands with his own.

Zera was snatched up by another Leaved Dragon, as was Seyelin. Soon the others were snatched as well, all by the Leafy Dragons.

Saké
----------------

With their mighty wings the Dragons with us in their grasp flew over the forest. The sounds of the fighting behind us soon droned out with the sound of the rushing wind.

I looked over at the other Dragons, each holding my friends. Seyelin had his Naginata, but wasn’t using it to get free, with how high we were I didn’t doubt him. Chamel struggled with all his might as usual, and the others seemed spent.

The forest below us whisked by, faster and faster with each moment. I tried to see where exactly we were being taken. There were no mountains or caves that I could see; the farthest mountain outcrop was miles behind us.

I could feel the Dragon holding me decelerate and start to lower into the canopy of trees. Carefully we dropped into the shade of the forest and slowed down. The rustle of leaves met my ears as I saw where we were.

A large tree stood in the middle of an even larger clearing. Trees and bushes conformed and contorted into recognizable structures of homes. Homes large enough for Dragons. Sunlight beamed in through holes in the canopy, illuminating patches of earth and dirt. Dragons, leafed dragons, flew around through the air as we lowered our decent. Smaller and larger ones walked along the ground, their mighty wings folded close to their bodies.

It wasn’t just Dragons that walked along the ground, there were people! Girls and women walked along with the dragons, some even playing with the smaller ones.

The dragon holding me lowered down even farther and I could fell it make landfall. Gently, it released me from its grasp and turned its head back up to the Dragons following it.

Other Dragons and the humans here ran up to the area as everyone was released from the dragon’s grasp. Chamel, due to his struggling, was actually dropped on his rump.

Setsuna was laid down very carefully, because she was still tied to the stake, the Dragon that had her carefully cut through the ropes with one of its talons.

“Rika!” a voice shouted from the crowd of girls.

“Sister!” the young one responded. Letting go of Chamel, Rika ran right up to someone who was pushing their way through the crowd of women.

The two siblings came to a loving embrace, both close to tears.

“Okay, sibling reunion’s touching, but where are we?” Seyelin stated.

“You are in our home,” said an old feminine voice.

I looked up, and I could tell everyone else did too. A pale Dragon stomped its way towards us. The age of the Dragon showed easily, the skin was pale and the eyes lacked the brightness that I had seen in the other Dragons. Its claws and leaves seemed weathered and worn. The wings might look the same, but they were folded along its body.

“Oh well, if we’re in your home, we’ll just be going then,” Chamel said and started to walk off. He ran right into the fore-arm of the Dragon that had brought him. “On second thought…”

“Fear not, we will not harm you,” the old Dragon said to us.

“Who are you?” Vared asked.

“I am Seria, the eldest of the Northern Forest Dragons,” the age showed on the Dragon. “And it would appear that you are our most recent guests. Veronica,”

The girl who was hugging Rika looked up at Seria.

“See that our guests are made comfortable, for we will need to speak with them soon,” The Dragon looked at us and bowed slightly. “Please, make yourselves at home, for our home, is your home.”

We were lead through the clearing around the large tree and to a set of homes constructed of trees and brush.

I tried not to struggle as the dragon carried me off to who-knows-where but it wasn't exactly a comfortable experience. We flew for a while over the forest before we dipped down through a copse of trees. I tried to shield myself from the leaves but I could only close my eyes and grip my glaive as they bombarded me all over the place, branches slapping my body and opening small cuts. I sighed in relief when the harrassment stopped and felt myself being lowered to the ground. All around me, the others were also being let go and looked around as we faced a village full of women and dragons, all doing their daily duties and whatnot.
These must be the female sacrifices the town had to make, I thought with interest. Only, they were saved by the dragons.

I snapped back to reality when an old, female dragon started talking to us, informing us to relax and follow Veronica. The girl who was hugging Rika released her and led us towards a few houses made of leaves and brush. I could only wonder why the dragons were fighting but I had a feeling that we were going to find out very soon.

Well, I suppose I ought to toss in my two cents and say I'm more than willing to get this RPG back on track.

Are we waiting for anything in particular before we start up again?

Well, I was waiting for Maril Togepi to give me her response, but I haven't heard of anything just yet. Neither from Pokemaster Jay (Sheik(. So for the moment we have three NPC-able characters. Elena, Horus, and Faile.

Start posting when you guys are really up for it. Kinda busy at the moment.

After a brief introduction from the village elder dragon, we started to move towards the bottom of the hill. I quickly started to piece the puzzle togeather... The top of the hill was for the immeadate loading and unloading of passengers only, and the bottom of this hill had to be the... debrief room! Once I had pondered our situation for the whole of 3 minutes... I quickly came back to reality, only to discover the rest of the troup had left me far in the dust. With many of the "sacrifices" staring at me, probably the first demi-human they had ever seen before, I quickly hopped to it and beefeated down the hill to catch up with the folks ahead.

Once I caught up to the troup, I quickly began to recap our situation... another three minutes later, it dawned on me that none of us had recovered our weapons from the previous village. I played catch up again an began to look for a good opertunity to voice my question.

A second later:

"So, how we gona get back our weapons?" I asked impugnetly, a look of a inocent child on my face.
"I dont think that that is our biggest concern here Chamel." Snapped Sake.

At this point, I thought the guy had offically gone off the deep end.

"Uh... so how..." I began, only to be cut off by...
"Like Sake said, dont worry bout it Chamel." said Amal, a look of concern on her face.

I knew that she was thinking the same thing, but seemed to know something that I hadnt quite caught on to yet.

"How..." I began again.

A knudge from behind me, almost causing me to go face first down the steepening hill caught my attention.

"Dont worry bout it." Said Kage.

I knew something was up, but couldnt put my finger on it. I just walked quietly, trying to piece the puzzle togeather as we walked. A glimps of the village seemed surreal. The houses along the path were made from wood, with the walls reinforced with straw and wood. Most of the villagers, whom were all women, stared at us, mostly cause we were the first people that they hadnt ever seen before. Aside from the normal folks that they once lived in the old village with. Alot of looks towards the demi-humans though. Our apearent destination was a rather large, old looking building, probably the town hall to put it. Despite its bland outward appearance, the inner hall was excuisitly decorated with paintings which depicted the history of the village. From the birth of the elder, to the saving of the "sacrifices" were all depicted along the walls. We continued into another large room, and when the last person had stepped foot in, the doors shut behind us.

"So, pendant bearers. Do you know why you are here?" Asked the village elder.

"I thought there was a special on pies goin on..." I began, only to get beat down by frying pans from the ladies.
"Garm has his eyes on us and we was in a situation that could have been our downfall." started Horus.
"Really, them pies better be cheap..." *more frying pans of Ako*
"Right on target." replied the elder. "Only expected of the psychic of the bunch." she said slyly. (woa... that is a word right?)
"How do you know about us?" asked Sake, a bit of frustration in his voice.
"History holds the key to the future." pawned the elder, shrugging off Sakes question with a quote.
"For now, you all should get some sleep. Food, drink, and clothing will be prepaired when you wake." said the elder.

With that, we were dismissed to a room that had the most comfortable box matrice you can ever lay on.

"History holds the key to the future," Said the Elder softly. "For now, you all should get some sleep. Food, drink, and clothing will be prepared when you wake."

Sora nodded, the shock of having just been snatched by a bunch of Dragons and tossed into a hidden village in the forest was still blurring her mind, and she meekly followed her Youngling escort from the meeting to a small, nearby hut.

"This ... ruf .. nukur... room... ?" Her escort struggled to say. Sora grinned, eyeing the green Hatchling before her, its small leaf-like spikes still dull and small on its beautifully emerald head. It thumped its tail on the ground in frustration and started rambling off, "Krai okk'mun nukur kythiwarfula, Maltha, krai okk'mun--"

Sora giggled, interrupting it and kneeling next to it to stroke its side. "Hush, hush, it's alright. Your English is fine, you're learning quite well."

The Youngling, not knowing half of what she said, beamed and lifted its head high and strutted out of the door as Amal was led inside with her own small Green.

"Your.. room.. Maltha," It chirruped towards her, bowing its little head and walking out of the doorway. Amal stared speechless at it.

"What did it call me?" She asked, puzzled, as she sat on the cot next to Sora's.

Sora smiled. "Maltha.. it's like.. 'mother', it's an endearing term for a female,"

"Oh.." She said, smiling a bit. "I guess your father taught you their language?"

"Mostly," Sora said, leaning back against the comortable mattress with a sigh. "It's really quite an ancient language passed down from the Goddess.."

She and Sora talked for a while, switching subjects to the suspiciousness of the situation they found themselves in, and then turned in for the night, hoping their questions would perhaps be answered in the morning.

I looked at the room me and Horus were given. It was well-furnished, with a view of the forest city.

Homes were built into the trees, held together with vines and branches. Giant leaves made roofs and the sky-scraping trees had homes much higher up into the canopy. Dragons flew between the trees and tree-homes, light and gentle roars emminating from their throats. It was beautiful.

Horus was sitting in a meditation form, his legs crossed and his hands resting on his knees. I thought I saw him floating lightly over a velvet cushion.

Turning back towards the window, I thought about what Chamel had said on our way down here. The chameleon Demi-Human was right. We needed our weapons back, but at least we still had our Pendants. I held the white crystal with the golden dragon wrapped around it in my palm. Dad, I thought. I hope you and Pokira are still alright.

"Hmm," Horus mumbled and got my attention. "Did you order a six-foot green reptile with a loud mouth and attitude?"

"Um.... no?"

"That's a shame, cause he's comming over." The Psychic Innate had a smile on his face just as a knock came at the door.

I heard a set argument between two male voices. The door opened nearly by itself, neither me or Horus had bothered to close it fully.

There was Chamel and Kage, arguing.

"Why did I have to room with the loudmouth?" Kage protested.

"Why'd I have to get stuck with the psychopath?!" Chamel replied.

"Oh come on you two, it's not that bad. It'll teach you some patience Kage, and Chamel.... well... it'll give you time to improve your jokes."

"Hey," the chameleon replied, looking insulted. "My jokes are the apitamy of funny."

"Do you even know what apitamy means?" Kage asked.

Chamel had a blank stare as he thought. "No..."

"I rest my case," the Shadow Innate retorted.

The three of us joked around, almost ignoring Horus who was still in meditation.

"Hmm," the purple Demi-Human stated. "There is something..."

I was still chatting with Kage and Chamel, me and the Shadow Innate talking Chamel down from running back to get his giant sword, as well as the rest of our weapons.

I heard Horus walking towards us. "There's something happening below us."

"Eh?" Chamel said. "You short-circut or something? There's aways something happening below us. We're in a high-rise."

The Demi-Human looked at Chamel, annoyed. "I mean something else. There's a large energy signarute being released down below."

"I thought I felt something," Kage commented. "The whole place gives off magic energy."

"I thought that was the jail food they fed us back there," Chamel replied, holding his stomach.

"If its a burst of Magic Energy being let out, then we should go check it out, right?"

There were nods all around.

The four of us began our decent from the tree, downwards. I could feel the magic energy more now. It wasn't an assult, it was more of a peaceful magic. Something about it made me want to cry, to sense the sorrow of... of... Losing someone. Yet it was peaceful and calm, I wasn't sure what was going on. Who knew what the others thought...

I was led into my quarters by a small dragonling, emerald green with several leafy spikes. The dragon garbled a message that wasn't in my language, bringing out a puzzled look on my face.

" Eh?" I said wearily. The dragon shook its head furiously before dashing out. Although I was a bit confused by what had just happened, I couldn't say no to a nice bed. Although the fact that my sword was still gone, things seemed at peace. For now, anyway.

The four of us waundered down the miandering walkways and catwalks that interconnected the forest village. With every step we took I could feel us getting closer to the sensation.

We walked through the enterence to a hollowed out log. Staring in shock, I saw a dragonian form immersed in immense Forest magic.

"What's happening?" I asked one of the girls there.

She looked at me, tears in her eyes. "One of the elders is passing on," she said.

My attention was brought back to the glowing dragon as the glow intensified. Blocking some of the light with my arm I saw the magic energy within the dragon condense and conform into a shape. In a few minutes the energy collected into a physical manifestation.

An orb. Not just an orb, but one in the shape of an oval with a reptilian pupil running down the length of it. It was green, and glowed brightly.

The dragons roared around us, their moarnful cry echoing in the hollow tree...

I looked at the orb as it sent out a soft illuminous glow in the area.

"It is a Dragon Stone," the elder that greeted us when we first arrived, said.

"A Dragon stone?" Chamel said, the sorrowful situation stopping him from making any smart-ass remarks.

"When a Dragon dies, its energy condenses and transforms into a Dragon Stone. This way, we never truely die."

I thought about this for the moment. Something making me feel sad and releived at the same time...

Only cool thing bout that was I got to see the B-1 haul @$$ past us.

I looked at the stone as the glow created shadows along the walls.

"What exactly is a Dragon Stone?" I asked.

There was a silence from the Forest Dragons there, as if hesitating to answer.

"Dragon Stones," one said with a slight hiss to her voice. "Are the embodiment of a dragon's soul. Their life-force, their afinity for the Magic they knew is within the stone."

"Aren't they also used to enhance Magical abilities?" Horus asked.

Everyone looked at him. The purple-demi human had been silent for the entire event.

"Whatchyoutalkingbout Horus?" Chamel said, tilting his head.

Horus folded his arms and his eyes closed before he spoke. "I have heard of Dragon Stones and their uses. One such use is their key ability to allow anyone with a slight grasp of the elements to magnify their power just by posessing one."

The female dragon nodded, wary.

"Which would explain why the dragons of this region are in hiding," Horus said, openning his eyes and looking at the dragons. "A Dragon Stone is only created after the death of the dragon, correct?"

Again a nod.

I thought about what Horus was saying and it hit my pshyce like a ton-of-bricks.

"They wouldn't!" Kage, at Horus, not meaning to raise his voice but as shocked as I was. "They wouldn't hunt them just for the stones?!"

The silence was deafaning, even Chamel was being quiet.

With a nod from the dragon, I knew the statement was true.

"They have hunted us for generations, for several of our generations, and still do today. They consider the value of our essence more than our lives, a practice that terrifies us for the safety of our chicks and descendents."

"Wait." Chamel said. "Hold up. You mean that you've been hiding in this over-grown garden to save your own skins. What about the other Dragons?"

There were looks of sorrow and shame from the dragons. At this time I noticed some of the rest of our group comming into the chamber. Elena was the first in, followed by a sleepy Sora and Amal, Seylin, Vared, Faile, Zera and finally Setsuna.

"The others," the dragon started. "Have been put under a spell. About a month ago we began to hear this strange music, which made all the male dragons fly off towards its source. They never replied to our calls and now they fight us whenever they see us." Her gaze settled on Elena.

I looked at the others.

"Sound familiar?" I asked.

"Yeah," Kage replied.

"Looks like Serina's back, and in full force." Sora added.

"Time for a major butt-whoopin!" Chamel chipped in, punching his fist into his hand. Then as if realizing something his look went from determined to blank. "Waitaminute! What about our weapons?!"

"Seylin's the only one who has his..." Vared commented, looking at the Ice Innate.

".... It's back in my quarters." He said to us.

"I've got mine too," Amal stated as she stood there in her clothes.

"The first thing is to regain our weapons and clothes," I said, looking at the girls with us, those that were still clad in ritual attire. "Then we can deal with Serina and the dragons under her spell."

I started to walk out, followed by everyone I thought at the moment, but Elena stayed behind. Probably to speak with the dragon who was staring at her.

We had to plan for regaining our weapons, then finding Serina and getting past her nice little dragon patrol.

Well, I said I'd post something before this weekend was over, so I am, even if it isn't very good. I'm not the best at planning things, after all .

"Saké," I said, pulling slightly on the Light Innate's shoulder, bringing him around to face me. "You know we will have a problem if Serina's back and we aren't prepared. For instance, if her dragons are guarding our weapons, then what would we do?" I asked, looking down at the shorter Pendant Bearer with a slight scowl on my face.

"I'm thinking Kage. Nothing sounds very good right now, though." he replied, glancing downward slightly.

"Are you thinking about the Dragon Stones, Saké?" I asked, although the question was meant to remain in my head, and as soon as I said it, I didn't think I was going to like the answer. Surely there is at least one Dragon Stone somewhere we can use...isn't there? I wondered. "Well...whatever you're thinking, it better work, because my plan consists of throwing Chamel at the dragons and letting him annoy them to death."

"Well," I replied to Kage's inqury. "If what Horus said was true, then the Dragon Stones can boost anyone's Magic ability. Not just those who are inlined with the Magic type that they are." I also thought. "There's also nothing saying that Serina has our weapons. They might still be at the village. If nothing else Chamel can save us by annoying the male dragons to incap."

I looked at the hall where we had left. "That is if the dragons would be willing to let us use them at all. You heard them, the Stones are the souls of deceased dragons. They're sacred to them. We can't just ask to borrow the Stones for a few hours and bring them back like they're our neighbor's tools."

Hmmm...I've just been reading some of the old posts to remind myself what's been happening...how could peopel let such a cool RPG die out! *realizes she contributed to lack of posts, hangs head in shame* Yeah...let's get this moving, shall we?

"Well, we might not have our weapons, but we still have magic," I thought aloud. "And we still have our pendants this time, thank goodness."

I absently pulled my pendant out and looked at it, running my finger over the ridges down the dragon's back. Uncounciously I started comparing it to the dragons in this city. For one thing, the shape of the spanes running down the back was differrent, and where my pendant's dragon had sort of spiny frills on the side of its head and along the legs, the dragons around us had more leaf-like protuusions...heh, made sense for a Forest Dragon do have leafy decorations on it...I stopped suddenly as something came to mind.

"Hey, Elena," I called. "The dragons that attacked back at the sacrificial grounds, those were Forest dragons, too, right?"

"Yeah, why?" she replied.

"Forest-element creatures take greater damage from Fire and...I think Ice attacks," I said, mostly to myslef. "If all most of us has got against who-knows-how-many dragons is magic, it'd be smart to make sure we can use spells that'll do maximum damage. Does anyone else know Fire or Ice spells? Besides Seylin, of course." I frowned, realizing something. "Drat, the only damaging magic I can use at the moment is Fireball, I need my spear for everything else I know," I muttered. Raiding my voice again, I asked "While I'm at it, do we know anything else about those dragons we might be able to use?"

At this point in time I will say that you all deserve some new Magic!!

Throughout all that we've been through, our Magic abilities would have increased, if just by a little bit. Such as... say a spell or two.

So, for starters, Everyone gains a new Spell!! ^^

Clicking Here Will let you search through the Element list for your Element Innate and you can pick two Level ones, or a single Level Two spell to add to your Magic knowledge. You can also pick a Level 1 Spell of your choice from any Element List.

Some of the Spells don't have any descriptions, so any questions... just ask. Just make sure you tell me which spells you want, and I'll okay them.

"While I'm at it, do we know anything else about those dragons we might be able to use?" Vared asked.

"If they're under Serina's control, then pretty much they're mindless beasts." Chamel replied.

"Just like you guys were?" Setsuna stated

Everyone stared at her. This was one of the few times she said something that caught everyone by surprise.

"Well," Sora added. "She has a point."

"Not denying it..." I replied. "But we'll need some new spells before we go out to get into the village. We have our own Special Techniques and a few things. But yeah...I'm just repeating myself aren't I?"

"Pretty much," Kage stated. "Okay, so we need some new spells. How are we going to get our weapons and the girl's clothes?"

"Thats where our friendly neighborhood Chamel comes in," I said. "Chamel pulls a disappearing act with our weapons while the rest of us distract the village by bringing the girls they sacraficed."

"Are you crazy Saké?!" Faile shouted in my ear. "You'd be willing to sacrafice these girls who were shunned by their own people?!"

"Who said we wouldn't go without backup?" I poped my ear-drum back into place. "If you would be willing to help us," I looked at the elder Dragon who was flying beside us. "If we can get our weapons we stand a better chance against Serina once we track her down."

The Dragon nodded. "We will help. We must free our mates from the spell of this siren."

"Allright," I said running now, everyone following me. "Let's get after Serina."

The Pendant Bearers throw their plan into action. But what dangers awate them. Chamel and a few others sneak into the village to get their weapons, while everyone else approach the village from the forest. But as they near it, the village is smoking from attacks, and the villagers blame them for their miss-givings. After retreiving their weapons and clothes, Serina makes her appearance, and let the fights commence.

Yeah... Fill in the details...I don't want to write everything... but we have a plot now ^^

I followed Chamel through the forest as we rounded the village. I figured I could back him up, should the distraction fail, even if Chamel was too spastic for my taste. We finally reached a point where we could see the small pile of weapons and clothes on the ground, and we hid behind a moss-covered rock that had been ripped from the ground when the tree nearby was uprooted, and by the looks of the smoking, shattered village, I assumed it had been uprooted by the dragons.

"Damnit, this could be very bad..." I whispered, but quickly slapped my hand over Chamel's mouth, lest he speak loudly--or at all. I could see the villagers somewhat gathered around our weapons, all of them looking royally pissed off, and all of them carrying some form of weapon, though most of them were crude, or simple farm tools. "They're a few torches short of a witchhunt, and in more ways than one," I said. It didn't take long before I caught a glimpse of some of the others in the forest on the other side of the village.

"Looks like the show's about to start!" Chamel whispered excitedly. I could almost feel how jittery he was, or maybe that was just me.

I accompanied Kage and Chamel as we made our way towards the village and the others' clothing and weapons. They could protect themselves in their own right but Seylin and I were the only ones who had our weapons and we decided to go our separate ways, just in case.

In the distance, we could see smoke rising into the sky. A little further into the village confirmed our suspicions - the village was destroyed by the dragons. We hid behind a rock with a perfect view of the villagers. Some were guarding our clothes, holding various crude weapons. Others were at the farther end, holding the same type of artillery. They all looked either pensive, angry or fearful, most likely afraid of another attack. I wouldn't blame them either for acting so protective.

We waited silently (at least I did) until the other group emerged from the other side of the forest, Sake and Seylin in the front with the sacrificed girls beside them. Stunned and amazed, the villagers turned towards the other group. With our signal to move in, we padded forward quietly until we reached the pile. While the other villagers were focused on the other group, we tried to gather all of the weapons and clothes together to bring back to safety. I couldn't hear what Sake was saying but I could only hope that he was long winded.

Trying to pick up another weapon in my already full hands, I accidentally let one of Elena's daggers fall onto the other one, emitting a clanging noise. Some of the villagers turned around to spot us and with a shout, charged forward. I let my pile of clothes and weapons fall and picked up my only glaive, gripping it tightly in my right hand.
"Take everything and help the others," I told Kage and Chamel firmly. "I'll keep them busy."

Letting the other two take over, I stepped in front of them and held my glaive straight on. Killing innocent villagers was far from my mind; stunning them was the only option.
"Water Blade," I barked and felt a blast of water from the glaive shoot at the oncoming villagers, pushing them to the ground.

We have access to them before we try this crazy thing. So after we leave the Dragon Village, but before we get to the human one. Get it?

I lead the rest of the group from the forest's edge towards the village. Amal, Kage, and Chamel had already headed towards the village, to get our weapons back, while we created a diversion. I figured that having all of the sacraficed women return whole would be a big enough of one.

We stood, Seyelin, Zera, and Horus stood slightly behind and beside me. Setsuna, Faile, Elena, Sora, and Vared stood beside them, each guarding the women should the villagers try and round us up again.

The elder stepped forward, anger in his eyes.

"Why is it that you have done this?" he bellowed. "The forest serpents have attacked our village because of your inserection!"

"Elder listen," I started, trying to buy Amal, Kage, and Chamel the time they needed. "The serpents you've been sacraficing to are not the ones who've attacked your homes. They are under a spell."

"Silence. Just after they attacked one of the beasts said that if we brought you to them then they would stop their attacks. They state that you are the cause for this damage to our homes and lives."

"You have to believe us," Kage replied. "A siren is controlling them! We've faced her before. We need our weapons back so we can stop her and end her control over the dragons!"

"Sir!" someone from the back shouted. "One of the girls has been spotted in the village!"

"Hold 'em back!" I shouted, charging up a Photon Blast with my right hand as the villagers rushed forward.

I was about to release the blast at the ground when a massive blade showed up from nowhere and the flat of the blade knocked several villagers to the ground.

"Someone order a large supply of very sharp and pointy objects?" Chamel's voice shouted over the noise.

"You've used the line too much Chamel, get some new material!" Seyelin retorted as he caught his Naginata from Chamel's toss.

"Or just shut your mouth," Faile added as Kage ran up and handed her weapons to her.

"I thought I told you to wait for me!" Kage shouted as he handed off Elena's daggers.

"I thought you were right behind me!" Chamel shouted back, tossing me my Katana.

"Took ya long enough," I stated, attacthing the sheath to my belt on my left side, then drawing my blade.

Looking back at the elder I tried to convince him again. "We aren't your enemies! You've all been deceived!"

"We know." he replied. I recognized the blank stare they gave us. There were only males in the crowd, the females were probably still in the village. "Glory for the beautiful Sherina. By capturing you all, she'll be praised above all her peers."

"They're already under her spell?!" Sora exclaimed, using the back end of her Kama to knock villagers to the ground.

"Looks that way," Seyelin replied, freezing the feet of some villagers. Stopping them in place.

"Then where is she at?!" Vared shouted, using the butt of her Spear.

Music floated in the air and I recognized the tune. Over the sounds of the male villagers clashing with us, and some of the girls, it sounded like it was comming from the village itself!

"The village!" Kage shouted, drop-kicking a villager. "She must be in the village!"

"Chrimeny!" Chamel replied, just realizing something. "Amal's still in there!"

"You're kidding!" Faile shouted in near disbelief. "You left her in there?!"

"I doubt she gave them much of a choice." Horus retorted.

"In any case," I said, ending the argument. "We need to get in there!" The girls were holding their own, considering they now outnumbered the men. "Let's go!"

Amal's Water Blade brushed aside the villagers as she began to run through the streets. She tried to navigate the unfamiliar terran, dashing and side-stepping into alleys and streets. Surprisingly, the streets were mostly empty.

Even as she tried to guide herself back out to the sacraficial grounds, where everyone else should be, she heard a song break through the air.

"Electro-Jolt!" someone female shouted.

Amal tuck-and-rolled out of the way as a small bolt of lightning hit the spot she was standing at moments ago. The ground was charred and burned and a small trail of smoke rose up from the impact point.

Rolling into a kneeling position, Amal looked at where she had heard the voice. There, standing on the roof of the adjacent house, was Sherina.

"Well now, shall we continue?" she asked, holding her bone staff in her hands.

While the Pendant Bearers make their way to the village, Amal faces off against Sherina. A warrior who has more magic and fighting experience. Can Amalthea Arran hold her off while the others reach her?

Yeah, I figured I'd give you something constructive to do TML.

Bah, I'm sorry. I don't think I can continue on with this RPG anymore. This thing has been going on for almost three years and for a while, it was going smoothly, but people eventually stopped posting. Denny took a break, came back, left again, came back, left, and so forth. Without a leader, the RPG just dies

This story has lost all momentum and most of the people have left so there's not much of a point to continue on half-heartedly. Besides, whenever the story starts back up again, people have no idea where we left off or what we're supposed be doing. I say let this RPG die with the dignity it has left. Most RPGs never even make it past one year

Chains of Dragons has been going on for three years,and due to well... my life finally catching up with me, the RPG just lost so much steam that it's a dead train in the middle of nowhere.

I don't want to say it, but I may have to. MUCH sooner than I thought I would ever say it.

Chains of Dragons is over. I'm sorry for not being here for the ammount I should have been.
