Curiously watching, the Misdreavus finally manages to convince the Natu to try to fly. Taking a deep breath, he hops off and vainly starts fluttering his tiny wings. But in a couple of seconds, he comes crashing down, smacking into the ground. Instantly he begins to scream and sob as the Aerodactyl, Misdreavus and Heracross land beside him.
What are you going to do?

I'll come over and see if Natu's alright.

Following the River along, it eventually empties into the Lake, where you find a Staryu, Seel and Lotad sunbathing on the sandy-bays on the lake side.
The Seel looks up, hearing you approach and gives a friendly bark, drawing the other two Pokémon's attention to you.
What are you going to do?

Smiling at the Staryu and Seel, I ask if they would like to join my team while offering them both a Pokeball.

Checking on Poochyena's paw, he winces painfully, but allows you to examine it further. A scuffling noise alerts you to the fact that the Heracross have returned, bringing with them an Absol, who apparently is pretty good at helping injured Pokémon. Picking Poochyena up, you carry him over so Absol can check him out, after she's looked at Salamence, who snorts but doesn't attempt to attack the dark type.
What are you going to do?

East Cavern

I'll wait and see what happens.

Slowking is delighted to come along with you as you walk, seeing as he was just going for a leisurely stroll himself.
Tagging along by your side as you walk, he points out a Feebas paddling around in the water, before suddenly calling out and waving eagerly at two Clamperly and a Bagon sitting by the lakes edge. From the way they respond, it's obvious they know him.
What are you going to do?

Lake

I'm also going to wave to the Clamperl and Bagon, and from there I think I'll take a look to see if there are any Pokemon on the other side of the lake.

Sending out your Pokémon, the hound focuses, before blasting a glob of sticky poison at the Snorlax, who was watching, bemused. It isn't until the glob sticks to his chest and begins to absorb in that he catches onto what it happening. Growling angrily, he clenches his fist and attempts to punch your Pokémon, inhaling to launch another Fire Blast. But Rei just scoops up a pawful of sand and kicks it into his eyes and he begins to stomp angrily round, lashing out randomly.
What are you going to do?

Wandering on, you spy a Swampert instursting a Mudkip on the art of swimming 'properly'. He's caught a Poliwag and is forcing the tadpole to swim round and round as he tells the Mudkip what exactly the Poliwag is doing wrong.
What are you going to do?

Absol begins to hum happily to herself, skipping round her two patients, tending first to Poochyena's paw, then to one of Salamence's many bruises. Visibly relaxing, both Poochyena and Salamence seem quite happy to lie down and let Absol care for them. As they do so, Salamence glances at Poochyena and begins to talk softly to him.
What are you going to do?

Cheerfully waving at the two Pokémon, you squint across to the opposite side, trying to make out any Pokémon.
A dark shadow is swimming around under the water, occasionally breaking through to reveal a wing-like fin, while beyond that, a small, blue figure is standing on its hind legs. It's watching a tiny little blue fish that has suddenly fallen off of the other Pokémon's fin.
What are you going to do?

Me~
I'm going to release my Beldum, Zimbardo (though it won't be the last I'll see of 'him'), and then I'll head to the Meadow.

I'll walk over to the shoreline of the lake, and hold out a Pokeball for the Seel to see. If it agrees, then I'll continue on my way. If it disagrees, I'll release Dominic (Shuppet) and use Thunderbolt. I'll release Blackie (Houndour) and use Sludge Bomb. Along with those two, I'll release Shadow (Gastly), and use Hypnosis, then throw a ball.

I'll edge up closer to Manectric and see if he/she is strangely coloured in any way. Either way, I'll quietly send out Omega (Shelgon M L31) and Pock (Poochyena M L15). Omega will use Dragon Claw to weaken Maney'- if it wkes up, Pock will use Yawn to put him/her back to sleep.
Once it's weakened and asleep, I'll use a Stun Ball. If it breaks out, I'll use an Ultra Ball.

Make sure they are knocked out before throwing a ball at Seel and Staryu. If Seel somehow regains consciousness, attack him too.

Okay. Rei (Poochyena) should tackle the Snorlax. If he keeps trying to attack, she should use Sand Attack. Meanwhile, I'll call Kyle (Growlithe) over and ask him if he found any Pokemon that can use Water Pulse or any other water attack, so they could help Conway (Lapras) put out the fire.

Hoping to have some better luck at the North Caves, you eagerly walk into the first cavern, glancing round for your first Pokémin sighting. It isn't long before a Jynx comes strolling through the room, having an arguement with a Snorunt and Sneasel. As you watch, Jynx seems to deliver the parting shot to her two companions and storms off, noticing you at the same time.
What are you going to do?

Sending an electric current through the water, Shuppet successfully manages to shock all three Pokémon....and probably everything else in the lake as well. Houndour coughs up a ball of sludge and spits it at your two desired Pokémon, before Gastly sends both Staryu and Lotad to sleep, leaving them floating motionlessly in the water besides Seel. Sending Brain out, the Treecko jumps into the water, paddles over and uses an Absorb on both of them, before you fling two Poké Balls forward. After all that punishment, Seel is caught, but Staryu breaks free, and promptly uses Recover.

Curiously, you then ask Aerodactyl what's so funny; he sighs, then says that Natu was the one who wanted to try flying in the first place. But because he (Natu) is a bit of a coward, the second he was in a good position to try flying, he chickened out. Misdreavus giggles some more at this, chuckling that she's never heard of a bird afraid to fly before.
What are you going to do?

Rei leaps up and launches a Tackle at Snorlax- she deals a bit of damage, but mostly just bounces straight back off. The irritated Pokémon is more concerned with getting the sand out of his eyes than fighting back, giving you a chance to look round for Kyle. He's done what you asked perfectly, and has found a Sentret and Lombre to help- as well as the Granbull you initially spoke to. Joining in with Conway, they're begining to bring the fire under control.

Go all out. Shuppet uses Thunderbolt....again. Houndour, Sludgebomb; Treecko, Absorb; Gastly, Hypnosis. Throw ball at Staryu. If Lotad comes back, just have Shuppet Thunderbolt until it either faints or leaves. If Staryu recovers, attack it the same way that I listed previously, then throw the ball.

Taking two pokeballs from your belt, you send out your shelgon and your poochyena. After whispering to them what you want them to do, they spring to action. Pock waits by your side as Omega approachs the snoozing electric type. His claws glow briefly with dragonic energy before the manetric awakes with a start. The Manetric quickly uses thunder wave on your shelgon. Pock meanwhile darts in and uses Yan on the manetric. The electric pokemon who uses another thunderwave that pock barely manages to dodge. Meanwhile Omega is fully paralized, as the Manetric collapses to the ground again asleep. Grabbing a stun ball, you hurl it and the pokemon is absorbed inside but he still puts up a fight and after ten minutes he breaks out but is still asleep. Not discouraged in the least, you send and ultra ball hurtling his way and this time the ding is heard almost immediately. Congrats you caught a L.11 M Manetric. What will you do?

Repeating your previous attacks, Staryu shudders in alarm, recoiling away from the awful electricity, posion, grass and sleep powers. Lotad whimpers, looks round frantically, then bolts, as you fling a ball at Staryu. It's absorbed inside and after the extra attacks, is finally caught.

Further on, you discover a Sableye, attempting to use an icicle as a mirror; a Houndour decides at that moment to melt the ice with his Flamethrower, caushing the Sableye to gasp, then burst into tears. A Spheal is also rolling round the room.

I'll nod and tell him that we can start by trying something similar to what they tried, only I can have Adonis(Charizard) carry him, and myself and the others can be under him to catch him if he fell. And I also know of an excersize that would help strengthen his wings. I'll then let Adonis(Charizard) out to show him I'm not lying.

As the Lombre and Granbull turn and begin to focus their attention and energy on the second fire, your Vulpix begins to creep towards the Snorlax, who is smirking, having finally gotten most of the sand from his eyes. Turning, he spots her approaching, only to be hypnotised instantly. Yawning, he slumps to the floor fast asleep, while Kairi looks rather pleased with herself.

Sending out your Charizard gets an impressed 'oooooh' from the other Pokémon, especially Natu, who looks amazed. He now is even more eager to try out flying, but Aerodactly interupts and says that he thinks it might be better if you try out the wing-strengthening exercise first.

Poochyena notices you waiting and hastily wraps up his conversation with Salamence. Managing to walk without a limp towards you, he lowers his voice and explains that Salamence was asking why he was hanging round with you, a human. He nervously adds that the dragon isn't that keen on trainers.

Sending out your Charizard gets an impressed 'oooooh' from the other Pokémon, especially Natu, who looks amazed. He now is even more eager to try out flying, but Aerodactly interupts and says that he thinks it might be better if you try out the wing-strengthening exercise first.
What are you going to do?

Forest

I'll nod and show Natu a few exercises to strech out his wings. When he's ready, I'll tell him to simply flap his wings as if he's trying to take off right from the ground. I'll tell him I know it looks odd and that it may make him feel dumb, but if he keeps it up he'll build up his muscles enough to fly. Even if it might take time. It won't help him over night. If Natu needs a demonstration, I'll gave Adonis(Charizard) give a small demonstration.

Asking Sableye if she would like to join your team, you add that Nightmare will be able to make lots of mirrors for her; Sableye looks flattered, but then worried. Whispering that she likes the sound of that, she then shudders, jumps up and trots over to the entrance to the next cave.
From there, she turns back and asks if you could follow her for a second.

Salamence doesn't cut out, even as the previous room disappears from sight; a Sneasel and a Houndour slink out from the shadows ahead, frowning and covering their ears.

I'll smile and watch Natu and after a while I'll ask him if he does want to come. If he's decided yes, I'll offer him the Pokeball. If no, I'll nod and continue on. If he wants to know more or wants more time to think, I'll just wait for him.

As the Lombre and Granbull turn and begin to focus their attention and energy on the second fire, your Vulpix begins to creep towards the Snorlax, who is smirking, having finally gotten most of the sand from his eyes. Turning, he spots her approaching, only to be hypnotised instantly. Yawning, he slumps to the floor fast asleep, while Kairi looks rather pleased with herself.
What are you going to do?

Meadow

I'll pat Kairi and tell her that she did a good job. I'll ask her, Kyle (Growlithe), Rei (Poochyena) and the other Pokemon to keep an eye on Snorlax and make sure he doesn't wake up. I'll run over to the Pokemon putting out the fires and see if they're making progress.

[Moonlight Espeon]

Spluttering, Bloodlust snarls and pounces towards Haunter, sinking his teeth into her hand; retaliating, she Licks him across the back, but he just grits his teeth, sinking them harder into her hand.
Trying to get rid of him she dashes her hand against the ground, but Bloodlust just lets go, then latches onto her other hand, biting down as hard as he possibly can. Suddenly, her eyes flash; she raises her hand to catch his eye and he lets go, stumbling away in confusion.
What are you going to do?

Hmm.. I suppose Bloodlust should use Leer again, and then pound it with some Ice Beams..
