That's really quite an impressive Scizor you've got there! I especially like the shading... I can never shade so that it actually looks like metal, dagnabbit... actually, I can't really shade well at all, which makes me incredibly jealous of people like you. I have but three suggestions for you:
1. (Useful suggestion)- The Scizor looks a little stiff and flat (barring the luvverly shading, of course). Pictures drawn dead-on from the side or front have a tendency to look that way. Try drawing from other angles, such as looking down at it/up at it, 3/4 view instead of profile, etc. It would add even more life to your Scizor.
2. (Hypocritical suggestion)- I really have no right to tell anyone this, as I do it myself all the time, but... you REALLY should take the time to get a good piece of paper to draw on. Lined/graph/scrap paper can really ruin an otherwise beautiful pic with printed text, doodles and evil blue lines. Of course, this could just be a "cursed" pic (i.e., you were just doodling on yucky paper because that's all that was at hand and you had no intention of making a finished picture, but then your "yucky random boredness doodle on bad paper" keeps looking better and better until it becomes a "very very nice show-offable masterpice finished picture on bad paper"...) *sigh* I know I kill more pics that way. If you like the way a yucky bad paper pic turns out, you might want to try tracing it over on good paper before you color/ink/do whatever to finish it. Just a tip from me, the Queen of Hypocrisy.
3. (Even more useful suggestion) Keep up the good work! All in all, that is definitely a wonderful pic and I'd like to see more. (Only next time use prettier paper.)
*runs away and hides because she's a hypocrite who talks too much*

Well, at first I WAS just doodling around, not really intending to actually finish it since I never do, so I just used regular old notebook paper rather than the printer paper I normally use. I was trying to add a bit of an angle to the body, but it didn't really come out the way I expected, (it's a bit noticable in the shoulder, in that odd angle it was placed in.. >_>).
