BTW, I think someone catches a Flygon or one its pre-evolutions. It's been in the preview, and on the poster, it's with the group, which gives me reason to believe it belongs to someone. I hope its Ash, he needs a good dragon type after he lost Charizard.

i think the woman owns Flygon, that would explain its sudden appearence. Flygon hasnt been in the anime's intro, has it? People dont catch new Pokemon IN movies, as people would have to pay the price of a cinema ticket to see this oppertunity: something not everybody can afford.

This is my prediction for the movie's plot...(make sure u see the preview first)


Well...the main bad guy is that man who wuz wearing the tux and causes the red lighting to flash. He has an Absol (his main fighter) and a Salamence. He purposely causes Groudon and Kyogre to awaken and fight for some evil reason (he looks like he works for Team Rocket). Ash, Haruka, Brock, and Masato all stumble upon the scene as it begins to occur, and they realize they must stop this madness before it blooms into a full blown terror. That blonde hair lady plays some important role (and has a Flygon) and knows she must help Ash and co. stop Groudon and Kyogre. But the two are on such a rampage that nothing can stop them. They then hear of a legendary Pokemon that has the power to grant wishes, called Jirachi. But the main bad guy to finds out of their plan (probably from J&J) and knows he must stop them or his plan will fail. So it becomes a race to Jirachi for the fate of the world.

Sounds like a Pokemon plot to me....

Wow. A movie without Misty. That's so strange, not that I've even seen any of the movies apart from the second half of The First Movie.

By the way, those who have seen Flygon - what did it fly like? Did its wings blur up and down really fast, like a dragonfly's, or did it just flap and glide like Charizard? I think it should fly like an insect, and buzz too.

I don't remember what Flygon flies like, but I don't think that it's Ash's pokemon. I mean, Ash has flown on many pokemon before, a few were his, and a few were not. I think it's very probable that it's not Ash's. Although, that doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool for him to have one.

I don't think Absol will belong to that one guy in the trailer.I think Absol's role will be similar to Suicune's from the 4th movie.Heck,I'm still wondering who the star Pokemon is going to be.At first,most people thought that this was going to be Jirachi's movie.But after the trailer,could this be Groudon's and Kyogre's movie already too? I guess we just have to wait for more info.


BTW,what's the 6th movie's japanese title?I already forgot it.

The title for the sixth movie is The Wishing Star of Seven Nights and I think the main stars are going to be Jirachi, Groudon, Absol, and Kyogre. I don't mind there being multiple stars in a movie. I mean, look at Pokemon the Movie 2000, that had five legendaries.

Also, that's a good summary, OpOp32, however, I don't like the idea of Team Rocket being the antagonists. It would be better for Team Aqua or Team Magma (better yet, both) to be the bad guys. Team Rocket can just sit there in the background, and have a helping part.

As for P2K,um,5 Legendaries? *scratches head* Articuno,Zapdos,Moltres,Lugia,and........that's it right? Or am I missing something?


But Lugia was the star of P2K.Just look at the 6th movie trailer again.When they pay tribute to the first 5 movies in the beginning,they just use Lugia to represent P2K.But in anycase,you have a point.I guess I hadn't noticed that P2K was jam-packed with Legendaries also.So I guess it doesn't really matter.

I think there is supposed to be an introductory secton to Hoenn in the movie. That's where I think Kyogre and Groudon are showcased, along with the previous legendaries and the two on two battle.

Mew_Girl, I just want to say thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!! I've been waiting for someone to make printable images from that trailer and you've granted my wish! Is there any way you could make a large, fairly clear picture of the poster? Or at least the Flygon, I really want a large, clear image of it in that pose for my scrapbook (the tiny one you can print from the official site doesn't do it justice).

As far as I could see the Flygon in the trailer was only shown gliding. It never actually flapped it's wings, but I assume it would fly just like Charizard and Dragonite do. Really Flygon is like a bug that has transformed into a dragon. The bug-like features that remain are only surface deep, like how under it's compound eye-like coverings is reptilian eye.

Another thing I noticed from the trailer after watching it several times were the new attacks the Pokemon were using in the 2 vs. 2 battle. They show a Solrock and Manectric fighting an Aggron and Shiftry. The Solrock floats forward but is frozen by an Ice Beam from Aggron. The more exciting matchup is between the other two. Shiftry fires a Bullet Seed attack (I think that's what Seed Machine Gun is called now), but Manectric dodges it then rams into Shiftry with Volt Tackle.

As for Absol, I doubt it belongs to the magician guy. Some here may remember that at the end of the Advanced Generation theme for the series they show a Latias and Latios fly over Ash, then, as Ash watches, a Absol appears on a pillar of rock and launches a Slash attack at him. Now, I must say that it is very unusual to have a Non-Legendary Pokemon or one that doesn't belong to one of the main characters, play a part in the opening theme, let alone an important one. Given this and it's apparent large role in the sixth movie it's clear that Absol will be playing some very important role in Ash's Hoenn journey, though I hesitate to guess what it would be. Perhaps it is a Pokemon that takes on the role of a kind of guardian for Ash while he journeys, following him and helping him and waiting for the day Ash is experienced enough to catch it.

I'm not going to even begin to guess plot as they haven't had this many Legendary Pokemon since the second movie. I'll be eager to find out how they'll fit everything together. I honestly expected Rayquaza to be the costar of a Groundon and Kyogre movie, not Jirachi. As I said I won't guess plot but I can tell my interpretation of some of the scenes.

Kyogre and Groudon scenes: It's unclear with Kyogre but Groudon seems to be on an attack of some sort, as it's shown leaving its dwelling place below the earth then issuing a trademark "I'm going to annililate a large city" roar. This is of course assuming that Rei_Zero isn't right about the scens being from an introduction. If it's from the actual movie then given their roles in the games and what is known about them in the anime I'm 99% percent certain Team Magma or Aqua will have caused this or be involved in some way.

Magician: Something tells me this guy does more than simple tricks. If those laser beams coming up around him were real it's possible he can use real magic, or possesses powerful and dangerous technology like Team Rocket (anyone recall Domino's multi-purpose tulip?) and Magma/Aqua.

Red Lasers Scene: They appear to be produce by mechanical structures and encompass a large area. Given the similarity in terrain and time (night) between it and the following scene, it's possible that those lasers were made to make the Jirachi "egg/case" reveal itself, as the rock-like casing appears after the ground pulses once with some kind of energy.

Masato hold Jirachi casing: It'd be nice to know what on Earth he's saying about Jirachi, but it's obvious to anyone he is upset about something. He says Jirachi's name twice in a near-tears voice so something bad must have been happening, or was going to happen. Perhaps Masato was asking for a wish to be granted? Then light shines on the casing and it transforms into the shape of Jirachi before flying off toward the stars. Ash and Pikachu are watching the scene with expressions that are a mix of sadness/uncertainty and hope. Very intriguing but mysterious. This movie could very well be the best yet, if this preview is any indication.

Looks like I was wrong about this topic...I thought the guy in the suit was Daigo, of the Elite trainers in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. I can't wait for more info on this movie.

I just saw it and it is beautifully orchestrated in my opinion. I noticed everything and it just seems to exert a sense of seriousness to it. I don't know why, but it just seems like it to me.

I noticed Haruka was holding something that had foldable pieces of paper, each flap decorated with an ascending number of stars. Geez, duh, that MAY have to do something with the movie! Wow, I'm smart. Hehe.

Anyone else have any idea what that may play... I mean, besides everyone else in some way.

There is a scene with Mewtwo standing on a rooftop with a cloak around its neck, but otherwise there is no evidence it plays a role in the actual movie. More likely the scene was just a representation of the first movie, just as the main Pokemon in the other movies make a quick appearance before the preview for the sixth movie actually begins.
