Personality: He loves Water type Pokemon, but that hasn't stopped him from catching others. Alex cares for all Pokemon; this attitude reflects towards people as well.
History: Alex was raised in Cerulean City. His parents were able to get a hold of a Super Rod when he was young, and when he went fishing for the first time, he caught a Staryu; a Pokemon he still uses. Alex caught many different Pokemon around Cerulean, and adopted some from his own parents, who are the owners of the Pokemon Care Center, the place where unwanted Pokemon are brought. With the help of his parents, Alex soon was able to be the proud owner of over 70 Pokemon. After careful studying, Alex set out when he was twenty to become a Pokemon Master. It took nearly five years, but Alex was able to expand his Pokemon collection to 120 types, and beat the Elite Four. Cold Steel recruited him to gather and study all the Pokemon in Kanto. For the last three years, Alex has studied them, and was even able to put together a tremendous team of Pokemon. It's unfortunate that he has no Pokemon from the other regions; he has little knowledge of the other Pokemon.
