    Default Can someone explain the free XBL Weekends for X360

    Basically what the title asks. Microsoft said something about have XBL free weekends and XBL Silver all week (I believe this is an internet feature). But anyways can someone explain this please?

    It means on some weekends, even if you haven't payed for XBL Gold, you will be able to go online and play games for free.

    XBL Silver just means that everyone will have some XBox Live features for free. Just connect your XBox to the internet and boom, you can do stuff online.

    However, you need XBL Gold to actually play multiplayer games online - except on weekends, when anyone can. I'm sure MS will discuss more details at a future date, though.
