    Default Ppl, need some help with an Azumarill set

    Hah, guess not many ppl train Azumarill, so i'm trying out Azumarill for a change. How about this moveset?

    Ability: Huge Power
    Defense Curl
    Rollout
    Double Edge
    I dunno... Surf?
    And add in a Shell Bell... what do u think of it?

    If it's going to be a Physical Sweeper use Hydro Pump and not Surf. Leftovers are always better than Shell Bells unless it's 2v2 where things change a little.

    You could try it but I guess Medicham works better with a similar Trait.

    My (slight) refinement on Andy's sub-punch set:

    Brave nature
    @Leftovers
    252 Attack, 252 HP, 6 Special Attack

    Substitute (egg move)
    Focus Punch (TM)
    Double Edge/Return
    Surf/Hydro Pump

    Compared to Medicham, Azumarill is *much* better defensively (base 100 HP vs 60, base 80 defenses vs 75). Certainly, it makes a better Substitute. Medicham has better speed (80 vs 50) and offense (60's vs 50's).

    Azumarill is vulnerable to Grass and Electric, while Medicham is vulnerable to Flying and Ghost. Azumarill is resistant to Fire, Water, Ice and Steel, while Medicham is resistant to Fighting and Rock.

    I'd say they are both fair choices - Medicham does not win hands down.

    Hmm... but theres a slight problem with that moveset. Ghost types pwn Azumarill, because Azumarill doesnt have enough Sp.Atk. What if i changed the last move for HP Ghost?

    O by the way, introducing my very own Shuckle-Killer
    Its simple: just get a Pokemon which can learn Taunt and Toxic/Poison Fang, and Shuckie will be down in no time. The problem is, which Pokemon can learn Taunt and has high defenses?

    But without a Special Attack Physical Tanks own Azumarill unless you can switch something else in. This is why Physical Sweepers sometimes have a power Special move like Fire Blast/Hydro Pump even if their Special Attack is low.
