Quick help please.

IHey guys I kinda need this for my pokemon battle system i'm doing at the moment but in the damage formulae at the start where it is (2*level/5+2) is that double the level divided by 7 or double the level divided by 5 then add 2?

BIDMAS says do Division before Multiplication.

Depending on where the parentheses are, I would double the level, divide it by five, then add two. That's just order of operations, so the location of parentheses really matters.

Yeah I kinda worked that out now, thanks anyways. I forget bodmas sometimes. I had to edit the formulae a bit though since rpg maker 2003 only works with whole numbers as variables but I've made it come with the same result.
