Ok, so I'm going to restart Sapphire, and really like the idea of getting as many ribbons as possible onto one Pokemon. Therefore, I want a Pokemon that could get as many different contest ribbons as possible.

Obviously a prime candidate would be Smeargle, or even Mew, but I have Sapphire only and am limited to Pokemon on there.

Do you know of any Pokemon that can excel in multiple (if not all) contest catagories?

actually if you trade pokemon from an emerald with your sapphire, you get a national pokedex. Dont know how, but it happened after i traded a horsea onto my sapphire from emerald. try tradin just once

I have used the Metagross from Colosseum for this. It has already one Ribbon from Colosseum and now has 26. It has the following Ribbons:

- Ribbon awarded for clearing all difficulties from Colosseum
- all Contests (20 Ribbons)
- Chosen as a Super Sketch Model Ribbon
- Hard Worker Ribbon
- Hall of Fame Ribbon
- 100-straight Win Commemorative Ribbon in Colosseum
- 50-straight Win Commemorative Ribbon in Battle Tower

For the Contests I feeded it 8 Pokeblocks made from the Berries number 36 - 40. This raised the Contests Stat values up to almost 200 in all five areas (one of them even >200).

The moves it has:

Arial Ace
Earthquake
Brick Break
Explosion

Winning all Contests was not so difficult. I always started with the move Arial Ace and then alternating Earthquake or Brick Break and the last move Explosion. Because it has very good Contest Stat values in all areas this alone was enough to win.

I think it can still obtain one Ribbon: 100-straight Win Commemorative Ribbon in Battle Tower.
But currently I have only 67 straight wins in Battle Tower at level 50.

I've managed it with a Swellow, though it took ages to get the last two Master ribbons. The Quick Attack/Aerial Ace combo was pretty much all I needed for most of them. Fly can be handy as a mood damper or protection move.
