Max IVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday i was researching EVs and training and such, i came across an IV calculator....... I checked my rayquaza, it sucked (caught it before the elite four), checked my Absol (Max in Attack and Speed) and then i Checked my Gardevoir, a female with trace( which has been a staple in all my games).o_O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That just made my day,Considering that they said in the calculator that getting a max stat is like 1 in HUGH number!!!
haven't found any shinys yet (26 hours gameplay).
Any body else have max IV pokemon?

Wow, you are incredibly lucky. To have a Pokémon with max stats in every stat is terrific, and really rare. (Well, actually Gardevoir doesn't need a good physical attack stat, it just needs a good special attack stat, but you are still really lucky!! ^_^)

As for me, I don't have any max IV Pokémon that I am aware of, unless one of my untrained ones does. I seriously doubt that I do though, as there is such an amazingly low chance of getting one. Most people could probably look for one the rest of their lives and never find one.

I did get the PokéRus in Emerald though, it was the first time ever that I got it.

As for shinies, I have caught a few of them.

Sapphire: Linoone, Grimer, Swablu, Zigzagoon. (Zigzagoon was obtained from a promotion at the GameStop store. It is seperate from my Linoone though, my Linoone was caught as a Linoone in the wild.)

Ruby: Koffing, Zigzagoon. (This Zigzagoon was also from the GameStop promo.)

LeafGreen: None.

FireRed: None.

Emerald: Smeargle.

Wow that is sooooo lucky. I don't think I have a max IV pokemon, but I couldn't be sure. It's doubtful that i do though. I have 2 shinys though. A Blastoise and a Tentacruel.

My luck's been down since i used to play Yellow.

I've only ever have one shiny pokemon with was a Hariyama and only seens one other before (Sandshrew)

I haven't found a shiny yet and I have played the game for 192 hrs. As for pokemon with max stats, i don't really know, because I havne't been paying attention, but I do breed alot.

Thanks all , This of course means that i'll have to buy a new emerald , I will put up this baby and maybe play it from time to time but i don't even want to touch it.

I did get a Shiny tyrouge and Shiny Shelder in Crystal. But I lent my friend the game and he STARTED A NEW GAME:@!!!. Hence my paranoid behavior above.

That is lucky, I've never had any max IV/DV pokémon on any Pokémon game.

If it is, then u do the math, it's 50/50 to get female, so it's half. Then 50/50 to get either ability, that takes up to the value calculated.

I'm sorry, I;m trying to calculate your IVs, not jealous, I wanna see it for my self, but I need the EVs for that, cause it would appear as if u have way too much HP, Attack, Defense, S. Def and S. Attack fo having no EVs in them, yet your speed is right wjere it soulg be, thanx

You can't do that as you don't know the EVs.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but what you have there is an experienced pokémon who probably has EV in all stats.

The maximum values for a Bold Gardevoir at L49 with no effort are:

HP140 A74 D91 SA142 SD132 S98

Since your stats exceed these, effort must be involved.

Assuming 85 effort on each stat (max 510 averaged over 6 stats), the IV values would be:

HP: 19-20 A: 11-12 D 11-12 SA: 13-14 SD: 15-16 S: 19-21

Although it's likely that the effort is not evenly distributed and the true values vary from these guesses.

Since you are not playing Emerald, it's not going to be easy to sort out the true IVs, though if you breed enough babies from her (say 30-50) and know the true IVs of the father you can come up with a likely guess.

Having said that, it's still likely her IVs are at least average to good, and Bold is a useable nature for Gardevoir since it soaks off her unused Attack stat and boosts her weaker defense stat. Modest is still probably the best nature for one, but being to slow to properly sweep, higher defenses never hurt!

For the record, the best I've ever managed was 3 max IV stats (HP31 A26 D9 SA31 SD31 S29) on my Naive Tropius Oliver and on Lim (HP31 A31 D14 SA22 SD31 S31), one of his Treeko children (who is Jolly). Best TOTAL IVs remains my Calm Kecleon Biff (HP 31 A18 D29 SA27 SD31 S30 = 166pts).

As you can imagine, I use Oliver and Biff for breeding *a lot*...

I have all the current versions so before I erase any game I make sure that at least one version is saved I have a bout 50 shinies

I never really understood the IV's well I understood how they work but never how to figure them out.

I downloaded this pokemon reader thing nifty like you wouldn't believe

it gives me all their IV's and current EV for each stat anyway, I was checking some random pokemon

In my emerald version I got a Jolly Ralts that has 31 in it's Speed, Special attack and HP IV's

the others were super low though, I don't rememebr exactly what they were but it's defense IV was 0

but I guess that's cool since it's got the good IV"s for it's most useful stats

oh and my favorite of my shiny pokemon is my Skarmory also from emerald

it's my favorite not 'cuz it's skarmory , it's my favorite 'cuz it hatched SHINY

at first I just figured that's how they appeared in emerald version you know with green wings but

when I was lookin' at the profile and stuff I noticed it's name showed up gold and it hit me that I'd hatched a shiny pokemon egg
