Let's be honest though Silencer...some of your pokemon that you feel equal the other...let's take Swalot/Muk...Swalot has a much better move pool, IMHO...Lairon/Rhydon...Rock ground compared to rock steel, it introduced more ghosts and steel types that were sorely needed, they have different move pools, different stats, traits, in effect, different uses then their counterparts.

Its like comparing a tiger to a cat. Yea theyre similar but have different traits and I think RS is good to have Pokemon of similar species which are surprisingly different.

I'm just implying that they could have created these types with nothing similiar looking. For instance the oncoming scorpion pokémon. It's new, original and has a new type combination. Why wasn't he released in RS and is he just thought about in diamond and pearl?

Also a reason that I might not be into the RS pokémon will probably be because I never saw the episodes of that time. We always had reruns while other countries were in the new seasons. They are running some of these episodes now as I caught a glimps of the episode where Ash catches Treecko. But, I'm kind off grew out of the anime. If they recreated it a bit (with perhaps a new main character) for it to be a little more focused on teenagers...

Still not sure but the promo for the new series "Diamon and Pearl" shows the Female Lead with both the new legendary Pokemon in the background. Considering May has beaten her Rival Drew ala Ash in the Johto League (albeit she hasnt won a competition), and Pewter Gym seems to still be in disarray, Ash might win the Frontier Challange and their story might be told.

If Ash does back off, after all he's explored everywhere and is pretty experienced i can see them passing it down to a new inexperienced trainer just starting out with the new Starters etc.

A Pokedex tells you information about the species. I have a dog but that doesnt mean I know that Poodles and Labradors breed to make Labradoodles - a breed used as guide dogs because they have the sensible approach of a labrador and they take the non-moulting trait of the poodle. Thats true, too.

Pokemon are always being researched so every time Ash gets a Pokedex update there'll be more information on the species. Besides he didnt get his Pokedex until after he got Pikachu so species wise he probably knows sweet FA about it.

Yeah the easiest way is to use the one Saffire gave you.
When using things like Metronome you count how many attacks are in the pokemon's movepool. Then generate 1 number in that range. Count down the list, to the number that was generated and thats the attack used.

If u need to work out a Percentage then set the field for a number between 1/100. Then if the number falls under the 'percentage' mark (under 10 for 10%, 25 for 25% etc) then whatever happens (such as Paralysis having a 10% chance of working) works.....if u get what i mean.

Just a small series of Side stories. I think only 1 didnt feature a 'at some point main charachter' which was the Legend of Thunder.
The others were like what Brock and Misty got upto when they went home. Tracey and that kid that Ash met in Kanto with the Pikachu named sparky etc.
