As the chilly North wind blows as two girls that have set there sights on attending this year’s Silver Torment on silver mountain, but little do they know that they where being watched by myself, Charles Legend who was at the sitting in a tree near them Spying on the two Rivals having a Glorified cat fight..

I watched as the Steel armored condor flapped it’s wings and chirped at a Kirlia however I noted that the Skarmory’s movements seemed to be much slower then what is the normal of a Skarmory’s matting ritual. Thus Charles concluded that the Skarmory must have been using the move Attract however it must have gotten paralyzed lat round when he had been reading his book on pokémon breeding habits.

However as he watched the Skarmory he stated to get a headache and Charles knew this could only mean one thing the Kirlia must be creating waves of Psychic energy, although I could not quite hear what the trainers were saying, I thought one herd Kirlia’s ordering her to create a Psywave but he is not to sheer because of my pounding headache.

Then as my headache stated to lift up a bit I saw the Kirlia closing her eyes, but I have no Idea why just yet, however when I looked at the Skarmory it had taken to the sky then did a cork screw dive bomb and plows in to the Kirlia’s right shoulder hard, and I then notied that she looked very Angry big time so much in fact that her left hand caught on fire and she smacked the Skarmory so hard that he crashed against the tree I was in and I fell out of it luckily on to a sleeping wild snorlax or was I?

The lat thing I saw before the Snorlax rolled on top of me was Skarmory getting hit by a ball of red energy as it tried to move but could not because of it’s paralytics kicking in.

Kirlia started the round. She raised her arms to her temples and started rubbing, concentrating on the telekinetic powers she possessed. But the Skarmory across the field distracted her- he seemed to be dancing? Yes, indeed, he was dancing… basking in the sunlight, showing off his shiny armory, stretching his talons. Kirlia forgot what she was doing and focused on the beautiful strutting bird.
The moment was lost, however, when Skarmory spread his wings and dove at Kirlia, piercing her chest with his powerful beak. Kirlia was stunned, and it took her a moment to catch her breath. However she managed to peak into the future successfully- and plant a little present for her tricky little friend.
In the meantime, Skarmory had duplicated himself into an army of Skarmory. He surrounded Kirlia and she had trouble focusing on them all. However she remembered her master’s commands- Fire Punch- and her hand began glowing with flames. She had no idea which to attack, so she went for the one on the left- but he shimmered into thin air.

Weighed to the ground by the paralyzing jolt of the psychic ballerina, Torque goes for a different strategy. Mustering his strength , the Skarmory began an intricate mating dance, tossing his metal plumage about. It was laughable at best as his stiffness caused him to lose step. Demeter shrugged it off with a smirk, touching one hand to her temple and extending the other to fire off a mass of psychic rings, smacking Torque onto his back.

Still gathering himself from the blow, Demeter swiftly opened a time paradox into a random future event. Seeing an opportune moment she released a speeding basketball sized violet blast. She was so focused on maintaining the portal that she didn’t notice the spinning heap of metal and fury that crashed from above, driving them both into a crater.

Torque leapt out, retreating to his airborne home eyeing the psychic as the dust settled. Glowing soft and ambient, the Skarmory split into 3, which all begin to circle the indented earth. A white and green blur launched from that spot, followed by a trail of flames. Demeter swung an impressive right hook, and only upon pure luck of the Gods landed a scalding pound to Torques chest, melting through. The other clones vanished as the Kirlia flipped off, landing delicately. Torque flailed wildly, crashing in a heap...

Vermillion: Good. Length was fine, detail was more than enough. I actually liked how fire punch hit Skarmory - you tend to find, most the time, people ref it as missing. Still some work required, but you're rookie for now. I want you to be an active ref though.

Hello all and welcome back to this heated crusade for top honors. In our last rounds the 4 semi finalists you see before me have dazzled the audience with the appeals that have since left me in slight awe. Who will be the 2 to continue to the finals? Only I hold that knowledge...Ah it seems our first competitor is ready..To The Stage!

Stepping into the spot light, Coordinator Green appears, by his side a small but determined Bulbasaur stands at the ready as his orders are given. The seed pokemon take off in a sprint, leaping with all his little legs can muster and releases a spiraling mass of fine edged leaves. Still in mid-air, Bulbasaur extends his snake-like vine from his side, and with a slight shift in body weight, he proceeds to whip each leaf into rubbish. Landing on his paws, the grass type gathers his solar might into his unflowering seed and releases it, burning what ever was left of the foliage to nothing.

Green's Score- 5.8

Entering from the right as Green exits, Coordinator Crystal bows to me and the crowd, as does her Xatu. With no time to waste Xatu spreads his wings and looks straight up. Above the stage, a mass of dark matter grows from a marble to a beach ball in a second. It crackles with black electric tendrils and a soft violet light. Readying herself, Crystal gives the order and the time-seeing bird rockets from it's spot, beak at the ready to pierce the Shadow Ball. As it enters the orb sudden dark beams ricochet in all directions from it, overloading it with ghost energies, it explodes in a shimmering rain of gloom and darkness. Xatu lands in a slow levitate for added effect and bows..

Crystals' Score- 8.2

Let's keep the the flow going with Ruby and her Jynx. With a simple snap of her fingers it begins as Jynx takes to one knee and raises her hands, palms forward. An icy blue light envelopes her as a mixture of snow and crystals burst from her aura. She opens her eyes and without an ounce of struggle, manipulates the wave of coldness to surround her in a mini cyclone. She stands now, wait, she seems to be floating straight up the maelstrom. As she does so she clasps her hands in a praying style and sings a most haunting aria, which fills the crowd with fear. On the final note the storm ceases and she falls to her knees and lays to her side as if dead...the audience loses it in applause..

Ruby's Score-9.5

Wiping a tear away on that last beautiful piece, our final Semi-Finalist today is Josh, entering with his well trained Pidgeotto on his arm. Uncovering the bird's flight hood, he flips his gloved hand to signal the bird to his aerial home. The falcon wastes no time in blurring from sight and reappearing several feet up in the rafter of the Hall. He starts off with wide banking circles, increasing his speed with every second. a torrent of wind starts kicking up, catching anything that is not nailed down *Even some of those things seem to be giving away a bit*. Dropping from the sky, a twister of massive proportions touches down. The Pidgeotto can no longer be seen, but only by the flicking of white and orange lights give reason to believe it's still in control of this natural disaster. The muliti-colored glowing was of two attacks which were released and were now spiraling down like falling space debris. Jagged shards of energy and spinning stars smacked into each other for an impressive show. With a simple whistle over the wind from his trainer, the storm stopped and the remaining debris flew off in ALL directions, leaving comet like tails and disappearing. Better than any meteor shower I've ever seen..

It's just a title to say "yes, i am approved". They're usually people who don't want to ref all the time, but will occasionally ref on request from someone. As such Free style refs don't get paid for reffing and they don't get free catch/evos for completeing matches. That's probably why there aren't any.

Begin!

Green steps onto the stage first, releasing a small Bulbasaur. She gives her commands to it, and then steps back. Bulbasaur begins by summoning a flurry of leaves that spiral majestically into the air. Acting quickly, Bulbasaur extends two vines from its bulb and whips them around frantically, knocking down the majority of the foliage. Bulbasaur then fires a swift Solarbeam that blasts to the ceiling, incinerating the rest of the leaves. As the crowd cheers, Bulbasaur grins widely.

Green’s Score: 6.1

Next, the trainer Crystal takes the stage. Sending out her calm and composed Xatu, she gives her orders. Xatu nods and begins its appeal. It starts by firing a ghastly blob of shadowy energy that seems to give off an incredible negative vibe – some of the audience members look a little uncomfortable. Xatu then swoops into the Shadow Ball, piercing its core with a quick Peck attack; the ball explodes in a burst of inky darkness. At the exact same time, Xatu uses Night Shade, sending even more dark energy out with the Shadow Ball. The combined attacks create an impenetrable darkness surrounding the stage and the first few rows, obviously frightening a few audience members, as a scream is heard. The dark clears and the crowd goes wild, thrilled by the Xatu’s scare tactics.

Crystal’s Score: 8.9

Coming up next is Ruby, who releases his Jynx to the stage. Jynx poses, obviously excited to be able to perform, as Ruby tells her his orders. She starts this off by raising her arms and summoning a chilling burst of wind and snow that seems to come from the Jynx herself. Without pausing, Jynx begins to glow purple; the snow and wind halt for a moment then begin to whip around her, totally obscuring her from vision. The audience strains to see her next attack… when a haunting melody emanates from the snowstorm. It strikes a terrible feeling of uneasiness in every single viewer, but at the same time, it is chillingly beautiful. One or two of the audience members even begin to cry a little. The snowstorm begins to clear, and there Jynx stands, finishing her evocative song on a low note. She takes a bow as the audience goes insane, some even giving a standing ovation.

Ruby’s Score: 9.3

Last up for now is the bird trainer Josh, who sends out his prized Pidgeotto. Pidgeotto wastes no time in starting its appeal: it quickly coasts to the back of the stage and beats its wings powerfully, whipping up a powerful tornado and drawing some oohs and aahs from the crowd. It then beats its wings again, sending razor-sharp strips of solidified wind into the maelstrom: they get caught in the wind and start circling as well. Pidgeotto scarcely takes a moment to breathe before spitting out several yellow star-shaped bullets. Each bullet zigzags around the stage before finding its way to the tornado; once there, they get trapped as well and begin spinning. As the stars and Razor Winds spin around, reflecting the lights from the stage and creating a majestic light show, Pidgeotto lands amidst the applause of the audience.

Josh’s Score: 7.5

The tortured pokemon continue to fight even with the terrible rain.the jolteon grudgingly charges for the electric attack as it ends the moves . Delecitty is very tired, and considers giving up for a while. But the Delacitty thought better of it. Detirmined, this delacitty with supriseingly strong stanama dodges the attacks but is to tired to send its on at the Jolteon. It ends up as no changes exept for the more tired Delicitty.

Aherm.. ASB traditionally uses a percentage system to calculate health, It's easier and everyone is the same. You start at 100% and it goes down with each attacks to 0% meaning they lose.

okay im starting over
The totured pokemon continue to fight in this hurricane katrina wheather. A helicopter drops
a rope ladder down to the trainers, but tey ignore it. Spectaters look out their windows thinking, who the heck are these kids?!!! Do they [iwant to die? The trainers block out beckons to come inside and offers for help.The battle continues!!

Jolteon, rearing to go, throws out her toxic. Unfortunately, the rope ladder was inbetween the 2 pokemon. The toxic attack just managed to get through the footstools on the ladder, but jolteon evaded it. then the thunderwave, well, that didn't quite make inbetween the footstools, it hit the footstool! The electric wave shot right up the ladder and eventually, to the helecopter.The helicopter started to drop.

While the running delecitty was speeding up to catch the Jolteon, the helicopter landed flat on her!!! It hit her in the head so hard, it became confused. As soon as it got back up, it hurt itself again. Massave damage was done to the delicitty Delicitty:65% Jolteon:100%

Still not approved. There's too many inconsistencies that if you introduced them into an actual b attle neither competitor would be pleased. There's no need for a Helicopter to suddenly appear in the battle, and for it to get in the way of attacks without warning isn't fair on the battlers. Plus if a Helicopter landed on a pokemon like that, the Delcatty would lose a great deal more damage.
