Description: See Sign Up topic for a few shots of his appearance... you'll see I have fondly modeled him after Tooya from Ayashi No Ceres AKA Ceres: Celestial Legend. Anyways... he obviously has a graceful athletic build, with a slightly tracible hints of a tan perhaps long forgotten. His more prominent features are his hair and eyes, which seem to contrast nicely against eachother. His eyes are a piercing green. His eyes are the type that are hard to take if looked upon sternly. His hair is like silk... being whispy and rather wild, yet having that 'untamed clean' look which is rather hard to describe. (See pictures! lol) He has overall a very graceful yet powerful appearance, although his personality entirely goes against it.
Personality: Rywen is a rather crafty social butterfly, for a nice short description. He has a knack for getting along with others and is a very outgoing and talkative guy, however he some how always manages in getting others to talk more about themselves then ever revealing anything about himself. He doesn't like to talk about himself much... so when any questions arise, he seems to use his wit and charm to deflect these questions back to the asker. He is a charming person, not showing much hostility or anger towards anyone... which can perturb provoking Slytherins at times. He smiles a lot and is fairly optimistic, and while he might think that nearly all things are possible... he does have a bit of a realistic and grounded view on things when you need an unbiased perspective. He tends to put himself deep into his work when it comes to the classes he likes... although he definately prefurs the more 'hands on approach' then reading a tiresome book. Yet... with classes he does not like, he tends to slack off a bit... sometimes having to truely force himself to do much of anything. It isn't that he isn't smart at these classes... he just finds them incredibly boring.
(Brief) History: Rywen is a pure blood, although most would probably never guess since most pure bloods seem to be Muggle haters. His mother was a powerful witch that seemed to work for the side of good for anyone who needed a hand- except the Ministry. She was one of the outspoken people against the Ministry... saying that they had done little to prevent Voldemort from gaining such power. She did know Sirius Black and was on very good terms with him, although he tended to shake his head at her very outgoing views. She was killed by Voldemort however... about five and a half years ago just before Voldemort was said to have been 'killed'. Rywen's father, Diego Oro, was a pure blood as well, but from a lesser known line although he did many odd jobs. He was devestated when Rywen's mother died as was Rywen, and they moved quickly to a rather seclusive location. Because Rywen's father had many odd jobs... they moved frequently, and just as of late Rywen's father landed a job for the Daily Prophet as a writer. Rywen is tranferring to Hogwarts from his old wizarding school, and will probably appear a little after the beginning of the term.
(Obligatory) Other: Rywen played Quidditch at his old school and was a skillful Keeper. He hopes that he'll be able to join the Hogwarts Quidditch team (one of them) as a Keeper. (hint hint! lol) His animal is a black cat named Fenrir (odd name for a cat) which has lived oddly long... about 15 years and doesn't really look old and acts as if it were merely 3. If I daresay, the cat is more like a family heirloom than anything.

[i]~ Gryffindor/M/6th Year (Transfer Student) ~
Rywen glanced at those who surrounded him slightly... his attentive green eyes seemingly analyzing most things in which he saw. The Great Hall was beautiful... and it was far different from the place in which his old wizarding school had met and ate. Of course, it wasn't that one was particularily better than th eother... both were equally as magical, it was perhaps... that this one seemed warmer or more together, if that would make any sense.
However, it didn't help that Rywen knew absolutely no one and didn't exactly 'blend' in the best either. He walked around gracefully but yet there of course was the fact that he had no idea where he was going in Hogwarts, so he was quite slow at making choices of 'where he was supposed to go'. It also didn't help that he was fasinated with every nook and cranny that Hogwarts had to offer... from the pictures, the tapestry, the railings... anything. So he often stopped and stared. Of course, his accent didn't help either... but at least that was only apparent when he talked.
Rywen wasn't exactly happy that he had to transfer from his old school, to Hogwarts. He liked his old school well enough... and he knew all that he should know there. His friends, the design of the school, the teachers... all the things that sixth years at any school should know. He was lined up to be the Quidditch Captain at his old school as well, but that was now out the window. That perhaps was one of the things that had hit him the most... along with missing his friends, because he was in love with the sport. He was a good spectical of a Keeper too. Of course, Rywen liked adventures and he liked new things. So at least that aspect of going to Hogwarts made him slightly eager. The school hadn't proved to be less alluring now that he was in The Great Hall amongst the teachers, students...a nd well... ghosts. Dumbledore seemed like a kind headmaster and Rywen, at first glance, instantly took a liking to him. Of course he had some contact with Dumbledore in the process of his paperwork to transfer... but now seeing him fully garbed for the ceremony gave him an even kinder glow. The teachers... well, they were typical teachers. Some looked perhaps halfway normal... while the rest looked as crazy or slightly antagonistic as those at his old school. 'Interesting' was perhaps the only plain word he could come up with to describe all of them together.
Rywen hadn't met very many people yet either. Of course he was quiet sociable in a kind way. He'd join in a few conversations... perhaps that fact that a few of his now 'fellow' Gryffindors would glance at him as if they weren't sure how to take it. The first years weren't like that... a few had joined their table and they were wide-eyed about everything. Rywen didn't blame them... maybe to some of them he was an imposter, some one who perhaps didn't belong in the whole scheme of things. He hoped he could avoid most of the wizards or witches who thought that. The train ride he had met a few people... talking to them had proved fairly kind and it had lifted his spirits (which had already been quite bright, but just lifted further). They seemed quite nice and while perhaps a few of them were not from Gryffindor... they were still fun to talk to. Rywen hoped he could see more of them in classes perhaps.
At the current moment however, Dumbledore had finished his speech and everyone was up and told to go to bed.
Bed.
Rywen stood up, his soft hair gleaming in the gentle glow of the lights above him as he watched a mass swarm head out of the Great Hall. He then realized he had not a clue of where to go... so he did the only natural thing he could do.
Pretend he did.
