Ok I'll accept this challange. I'll admit this sounds fun. I guess we need a ref first, and I'll be using my smaller Pokemon so there shouldn't be a problem.
Okay, I'm up for a match. This will be a 4-on-4 match, one Pokemon out at a time.
Rules:
DQ: 1 week
Moves I'd Rather Not See Used: Recovery moves (ie Recover, not like Giga Drain)
Pokemon: I'd like you not to use Pokemon above second stage (like Charmeleon, Raichu or Seaking), but I'm flexible in that regard.
Stage: The Submarine
This is the inside of a submarine, natch. It's large enough to accomodate most Pokemon easily (although a Steelix or a Wailord might be pushing it), and there are no obstacles inside to distract the fighters. Just big and empty. However, every few rounds (at the ref's discretion), one of several things will happen. 1: An obnoxious laugh is heard and 6 or 7 average-sized men in red superhero-esque costumes will dash by, attacking anyone in their way for roughly 10% damage total. 2: An annoying voice will say "Henshin a-bye-bye!" and a man in a red superhero-esque costume will attack one of the fighters for roughly 15% damage. 3: An annoying voice will say "Six Machine!" and a small aircraft will fly across the top of the room, dropping small missiles. These do only 7-8% damage, but there are a lot of them, enough to sweep the entire room. If an attack knocks Six Machine from the sky with an attack, they get 7-8% damage restored to them. However, since the Six Machine leaves on the turn it appears, this is hard to coordinate.
Moves unable to be used: Weather moves, moves involving a body of water (ie Surf), moves involving mud (dirt and earth-shaking moves, on the other hand, are okay).
Any takers? We would send our first Pokemon to the ref and they would decide who attacks first.
Ok I'll accept this challange. I'll admit this sounds fun. I guess we need a ref first, and I'll be using my smaller Pokemon so there shouldn't be a problem.

Haha understood. Cyndaquil and Cubone are in matches already and I don't like having ASB Pokes in more than 1 match (it isn't against the rules...the last time I checked) but it means I can evolve them quicker. So I may have to use an evolved form, but I promise it won't be Blastoise.

Prologue
The Blue Avenger VS. Chris 2.0
Tap-Tap Vs Smoochum
Prologue
Deep in the bowls of a submarine, three young men awoke not quite sheer how they got there.
The blue Avenger was so restless that he sent out his Male Diglet Tap-Tap the Red Nose or Tap-tap for short.
Chris also being restless at the fact they were missing the Party onboard Andrew’s Boat and sent out his Smoochum who for the majority are female only Pokémon. However there haven extremely rare cases of male Smoochum some where in remote areas of the world.
I looked at the two and shook my at them, As they would rather have a battle instead of finding out how we got here. I let out a deep sigh and told them that I well be the ref since I had nothing better to do.

Please take note that the reason I said that there have been extremely rare [/b] cases of male Smoochum some where in remote areas of the world. is because I remember not so long ago that Ivvchan got a female of the baby form of hitnom trio approved, granted they are not the same pokémon but you guys get the Idea, and no I was not trying to make a sick joke if that’s what you are thinking.

Perfect. Smoochum, that thing won't try digging in a submarine. Let's begin with a confusion to try and stun it. Next hit it with a water pulse and then freeze it with ice beam.

Tap-Tap’s mouth filled with a ball of toxic, and spitted a small ball of Sludge in to Smuchum’s face, at which she toke a deep breath of air then fired a beam of very chilly air filled, that froze Tap-Tap in a thin layer of ice…

Charles you're doing great so far. Well done. There is no real need for you to post the damage and energy seperately, but it was helfpul for me as I can see how you're reffing things. Personally I would have had the attacks do slightly more damage. Although as you'll learn refs each have a style and a way in which they work things out, so I won't keep saying "change this" and "change that" because you will develop your own way of calculating things. Good work.
I want you to use a sing attack first. That ought to make Diglett drowsy - plus we should be able to distinguish the sleepy one from the clones. Next I want you to fire a water pulse x2, but fire each after the magnitudes - those earthquake-style attacks should take care of tap-taps clones for us.

As round two opens we see a Diglet named Tap-Tap covered in about a quarter inch of ice that do to the heat of the warm air coming threw the ducts has began to crack which allowed Tap-Tap to move just enough to create two clones of himself however to his disappointment his Ice covering was a dead give away as Tap-tap started to get Drowsy as Smoochum had stared to sing, however thankfully do to the poison that had seeped in to her, she stopped singing before she could put the three humans to sleep.
Tap-tap wondered to himself how he was Suppose to use not only one Magnitude but two inside a submarine, however Tap-Tap decided it best to follow threw with his master’s plan even thought he did not agree it, Tap-tap used it’s ability to create seismic determents on the Ocean floor below submarine.

You can't just change what attacks the Pokemon uses. Tap-Tap was ordered to use magnitude twice. Even if he knows it wont work, even if he's fuming with rage, even if he's sleepy he still has to try and use the attack. All it would mean is IF Diglett used rage (can it even learn it? Maybe via RBY tm...) the attack would be more powerful BECAUSE it is angry. You can't have Diglett execute an entirely different attack because it's angry.
Charles I think you need to edit that last reffing.

Another thing I'm slightly confused by is that water pulse, a medium-strengthed attack did 6% damage to Diglett. But Diglett is weak to water. It should do slightly more. But a magnitude, even though you explained the power was nullified by the fact we are underwater did 10%, twice, which seems a lot in my eyes.
I think you're having a bit of trouble calculating damage. If you play the games, that should help. They give a rough example of how much attacks do. For example, mud slap is weaker than rock throw simply because a hard slap of mud would hurt less than a pile of rocks falling on you. Or that Hyper beam does a lot - it is pure concentrated energy such a size it causes great damage and hits opponents full-on.
You need to work on how you calculate damage. I'm not telling you off, but I'm just giving you advice. It is imperative you can keep up a hood standard or you won't be a good ref.

Round three opens up as the submarine’s hull is still being attacked by the violent under water currents. Infarct last time I checked my map on my pokégear we where sailing near the orange Islands.
But do to Tap-tap’s Magnitudes the sub had accidentally ventured in to the under water river where a very powerful Lugia is said to live.
Anyways as I looked up from my pokégear, just in time to see Smoochum running so fast at Tap-tap that she stemmed like a small ball of purple and wheat colored energy, then faster then the human eye could see she pouched Tap-tap’s red nose, just moments before Tap-tap could set up his protective shield, to but he dose not realize that he has a broken nose…
Tap-tap felling a small amount of blood trickling down his face, or is it his body? Tap-tap decencies to worry about that later as he disappears as Smoochum toke a deep breath but this time a black ball of pure darkness started to form in her mouth, just as reappeared behind Smoochum and gave her a light tackle. Smoochum then turned around and blasted Tap-tap with a goofball sized ball of darkness.
Tap-tap, now ticked off summands three demonic shadow who toke on the likeness of his Allies.
The first demonic Shadow as a Koffing tackled Smoochum from behind, as she toke in a deep breath of air then the demonic Koffing vanished, the second Demonic Shadow toke on the form of an Exeggcute and circled around Smoochum and destroyed it’s self by using egg bomb or was it self destruct? *scratches head in confutation.*
anyways Smoochum by this time realized that Tap-tap had summoned these demonic clones of his teammates and just stated to fire off her attack when the last of the demonic shadows toke on the form of a Cleffa who threw a present Smoochum which blew up in her face right after the Ice beam hit Tap-tap froze him yet again in a thin layer of ice, and with that the Demonic Cleffa gave an evil laugh and vanished.

Sorry I am late guys, I been trying to catch a blasted Chancey, it’s the only one besides Omistar I need so I can finish my kanto dex on my leaf green version. Ah, maybe I should just wait for DX to come out… speaking of DX did you know it well have more shadow attacks then just shadow rush? Like for example one of them is called Shadow panic which confuses both foes.
Anyways the reason I did beat up like I did was because I tried to make the Demonic shadow clones evil, by using attacks that go well with the pokémon they toke the form of.
like for example the Demonic Exeggcute using a form of Egg bomb that acted like a self-destruct, however if you guys don’t like what I had the Demonic Shadows do, I can change them if you want me to.
Oh and I also made the calculations a lot easer to read and I hope it well lessen the confutation on all of us a bit.
Btw, no Lugia won’t show up and like destroy the propellers or anything, I was just referring to the fact that the sub had ventured in to it’s territory that’s all.

It sounds good to me, although I think your damage calculations on Ice Beam might be a little low. Even if she was interrupted, it's still a powerful attack, and Smoochum would normally do more damage with it than Shadow Ball. Meh. Just my 2 cents.
Okay, Tap-Tap, you're frustrated, angry, and you have a broken nose. Let's make this round simple, shall we? Rush in to Smoochum, and attack her with a Rage, a Frustration, and another Rage in quick succession.
Rage ~ Frustration ~ Rage
Good work Charles. Spelling and grammar is the only real problem - my advice is to write a reffing up in Microsoft Word and get it all corrected, then copy + paste it into a reply text box.
I think attackwise Shadow Ball could perhaps only do 8% and Ice Beam more like 7. However I don't want you to change it, I just want you to remember it for future reference.
Smoochum, use return x3 to deal back all that negative frustration.

The first demonic Shadow as a Koffing tackled Smoochum from behind, as she toke in a deep breath of air then the demonic Koffing vanished.
the second Demonic Shadow toke on the form of an Exeggcute and circled around Smoochum and destroyed itself by using form of egg bomb that acted like self-destruct
Smoochum was not as surprised that Tap-tap had summoned these demonic clones of his teammates again and just stated to fire off her attack when the last of the demonic shadows in the form of a Cleffa who threw a present Smoochum which blew up in her face right after the water pulse hit Tap-tap in his face, and with that the Demonic Cleffa gave an evil laugh and vanished.

Okay, Arven, before Smoochum can do anything, start Singing at her. If it works, combo with a Dream Eater then finish with a Flamethrower. If Sing doesn't work, try a Thunder Wave, and then use Flamethrower.
Sing ~ Dream Eater/Thunder Wave ~ Flamethrower
Round 6: The mini fairy vs. The mini ice demon.

As Round six opens TBA recalled his Diglet and then sent out his Cleffa, who rumor has it to be the sister of ASHarris’ Cleffa, Smoochum quickly toke the time to rip the Cleffa apart with her mind, do to her tired state Cleffa was releases from the mini ice demon’s psychic hold, Arven being a bit sore started to sing,
Smoochum started to run over to Arven with half closed eyes slugged the mini fairy with an ice covered fist, Arven knew that Dream eater would not work so Arven pointed her finger at Smoochum and three rings of static electricity soot out from it.
Then both Arven and Smoochum toke in a deep breath, Arven breathed out a stream of fire just as Smoochum fired a jet of water that had a light Purple light coiled around, both attacks met in the center of this makeshift arena, each hitting their tarweeds but do to passing threw each other they only did half as much damage.
Round six comes to a close as a as a guy in a red suit walked in to the room, and yelled at us to get back to shoveling coal in to the engine’s fire. then left the room

Yeah Smoochum was trying to rip Arven apart because she is jealous of the fact Arven seems to have been papered a lot.
Btw TBA I only said that yours and ASHarris’ were rumor to be related is because as far as I know you two are the only ones that have Cleffa on your teams not to mention both you and ASHarris named your Cleffa with similar names, besides it makes the match more interesting some what.. *cough* It’s like you both got them from a breeder at the same time or something.=/*cough* (however if this is proven wrong, well you can fire me if you wish to, but then you would not get round seven as fastI.)
