I'd sort of say they're cheap, but a lot of things are. I try my best to expect the worse - prepare against such attacs. I must say I failed admirably here, forgetting explosion completely. It's cheap but legit.
Unlike you, I make it a point not to use insta-KO movies. I find them cheap.
Heh, actually that's not true in the slightest. I just sorta forgot Koffing could do that. I was deciding between Explosion and Grudge. ^^;

Toxic ~ Sludge Bomb ~ Explosion
Quilava (Male)
Heath: 100% Energy: 100%
Aerial ace ~ flamethrower ~ crush claw
Quilava starts by standing on his hind lags and slashing at the air in order to create needle like waves of flying energy which hit Sedgewick, who returned the favor by spiting a toxic at Quilava who became slightly poisoned .
Quilava became very annoyed at Sedgwick, took a very deep breath of air, just as Sedgewick was starting to cough , then both sent their attacks one a gray glob of sludge the other a very hot flame aimed at Sedgewick’s eyes. Quilava became badly poisoned by now but at least he did get in a critical hit.
As Quilava approached Sedgewick he started to glow but then realized that he all ready lost, Quilava had already knocked him out, and he fell to the ground fainted in defeat.

Round Seventeen starts of with Numeron setting up a light screen then he Switched to his very nevus looking head, just as Quilava smashed his light screen by chopping it with his right paw, then Quilava did a few back flips and lit both is Mohawk and butt.
Then before the nevus head could retreat to the back again, Numeron’s other five heads threw at Quilava who created a cyclone of flames around his body just as the nevus head exploded, both pokémon receiving a bit of damage.
When the nevus head returned to the group, they were not pleased with it’s preferment’s thus , they sent the poor head back at Quilava to try to do a better job; However Quilava was ready for it having had taken a very deep breath when the nevus was still in the group.
As the nevus head was thrown back at Quilava by the group, Quilava smirked as the nevus head approached hem; then he let loss a Flamethrower, which burnt the nevus head. However Quilava was not that lucky do to it blowing up again this time in it‘s face.
As this round comes to a close a blackened nevus head returned to his group, and Quilava started to gnome himself by spreading an oil that helps to fireproof his fur.

Bombs away, even though its a combo, shouldn't do the same damage as fire attacks on a grass-type. I would think Bmbs away should do roughly 8% damage, but I'm not all that sure. Egg bomb is, after all, very powerful in the games (100 Base power) but Barrage is weak (15 base power, but 2-5 times). Hmm. I confused myself
Quilava, combine quick attack and flame wheel to deal a quick, scorching blow to Execute. Then use aerial ace.

Quilava starts round eighteen, by lighting his volcano glands again, and quickly running at Numeron dealing a Scorching blow to his foe, which charred all six of it’s heads, Numeron then put up a Protective shield but it was to late, Quilava had already attacked him.
Dismayed the burnt cluster of egg/seeds switched from the nervous head to the Angry head blew out a blue powder, most of which was burnt by Quilava’s Volcano glands, as it fell on his body however, Quilava accidentally took a breath of air to replenish his oxygen supply to his Volcano glands, thus breathed in some of the powder and feel asleep.
Numeron then switched from it’s Angry has to his happy face and started to eat Quilava’s dream, however as Numeron aet Quilava’s dream he switched to his Scared head, apparently Quilava was dreaming about eating Numeron for dinner.
Quilava woke up and slashed Numeron’s Scared head with his right paw; with the full fury of Arial ace. At which Numeron responded by switching to his nervous head, as Quilava fell back to sleep.

Quilava, slowly got up, slashed the air sending small amounts of razor sharp flying energy at Numeron, who took light damage. Numeron again blasted Quilava hard with a Powerful beam of mental energy.
Quilava, slowly took a deep breath, then let out a very hot flame hurting Numeron badly, Numeron used the last of it’s energy to take Quilava down with him with one final Powerful psychic blast.
The captain of the Sub then entered the room…
“Well that was a grate Show you guys put on for my crew and what an ending it was, Quilava and Numeron knocking out each other like that! Anyways , here is a quick review for any one who dose not recall…
In Round 5, Chris’ Smoochum took out Tap-Tap the red nose. TBA 3 vs. 4 Chris 2.0
In Round 7, TBA’s Cleffa, Arven, took out Smoochum but not before she sang a parish song. TBA 3 vs. 3 Chris 2.0
In Round 10, Chris’ Smoochum got her revenge on Arven because of the Parish song. TBA 2 vs. 3 Chris 2.0
In Round 15, TBA’s Koffing, Sedgewick took out Chris’s Duskull. TBA 2 vs. 2 Chris 2.0
In Round 16, Chris Quilava toke out Sedgewick. TBA 1 vs. 2 Chris 2.0
And here in round 20, Quilava and Numeron, took each other out. TBA 0 vs. 1 Chris 2.0
Thus Chris 2.0 wins!
Chris wins 8 points
TBA wins 4 points
I win 8 points =/
Still, good efforts on both parties, even if I did not do a very good job at reffing it…
um err I hope the double knock out was ok with you guys…. If not then tell me… err later…

Wow. Just wow.
One of my favourite matches in ASB to date. Charles I think 17% for a psychic attack was a lot - maybe 8 or 9% max, but it didn't matter. And so you know, I was planning to use Sneasel to finish off the match.
Thanks for the consistent and fast reffing Charles.

Yeah, I know but it was a critical hit, or at lest thats what I was thinking at the time, but yes, I agree that is a little high, but like you sid it dosent matter since the match is over.
