I'd say go Subtlety first. I have an Undead Rogue and I went Combat, which is nice but I really wished I went Subtletly earlier. Just look at the talents and you'll love them =P Gnomes are annoyingly hard to hit to begin with, and with subtlety... *Looks longingly at Initiative, Elusiveness, Improved Sap, Ghostly Strike, Setup, Preparation, Premeditation.......* I mean, omg.Originally Posted by Yero Thropp
Thing about Rogues is they have really, really nice trees throughout. Depending on how many points you spend, you can get some good stuff off of Assassination as your second tree. Malice, Ruthlessness, Murder, Lethality, Relentless Strikes are all nice. It's too bad you can't get improved Kidney Shot if you go Subtlety, but that's all right.
Rogue trees are personal preference, really, since they're all good. Hmm. I went to thottbot and built this:
Assassination
Malice Rank 5
Ruthlessness Rank 3
Murder Rank 2
Relentless Strikes Rank 1
Lethality Rank 5
Combat
Lightning Reflexes Rank 2 or Improved Gouge Rank 2
Subtlety
Master of Deception Rank 5
Elusiveness Rank 5
Opportunity Rank 5
Initiative Rank 5
Ghostly Strike Rank 1
Improved Ambush Rank 3
Improved Sap Rank 3
Preparation Rank 1
Setup Rank 3
Hemorrhage Rank 1
Premeditation Rank 1
It's up to you which tree you prefer, though; look at all the abilities and see which you'd like to use. It depends on how you play.
Don't even think about how to counter warriors and hunters, heh in fact getting dodge ups increases the chances of warriors hurting you severely =P You basically have to keep up your stuns or you'll never win. I hate hunters especially, warriors are slightly easier to stunlock because they can't see you when you're invisible.
