round eight

Round eight starts out the same as round three: both pokémon are in two different places. Using a communicator that he found in a cereal box, Chris 2.0 speaks to his electabuzz, "I want you to use Meditate and sharpen your senses. If you sense Numeron coming near, then release a Thunderwave in all directions. Hit him with an Ice Punch following that."

TBA then smirks to himself, coming up with another strategy, "Okay, Numeron," he muses, "I want you to find a ventilation duct. Then, carefully, apply a blast of Sleep Power through it, and lace it with Toxic. Hopefully, we'll be able to knock out his electabuzz."

Whilst electabuzz busies himself by doing yoga and hightening his senses, Numeron trots around gleefully in search of the abandoned department store's ventilation system. Within a few moments of searching, Numeron is able to locate the aforementioned ventilation system. He then proceeds to spray out two venomous powders – one that causes sleep, and another that causes poison. Hopefully with all the antidotes used up, electabuzz will soon succumb to the poison. The purple colored powders wander throughout the vents and eventually make their way to the third floor. Electabuzz still awaiting for his opponent inadvertently breathes in some of the stale air and becomes quite drowsy; the poison in the air also gave him a very familiar pain.
