Loren' eyesight is now slightly better. The vague black shapes are a bit more defined. He squints, but is still unable to discern whether the triangle in front of him is Ferdinand or a Spike. He sighs and does as his trainer asks, zipping around and avoided any vaguely triangular shaped thing. Unfortunately for him he bounces off the barrier and to regain his balance he steps on a Spike. He yelps and is then magically lifted of his feet. Ferdinand has started his attack and the wind causes Loren to be swept off his feet, and right onto a Spike. He howls in pain and whisks his head around, yanking the Spike out of his side. He growls, whipping his head around, wanted to cause great pain to Ferdinand.

He lifts his nose to the wind and catches Ferdinand's sent. The growls menacingly as the clones disappear and he knows exactly where the annoying little triangle is now. Ferdinand is undeterred and summons up all his anger and rage at being in pain from his burn. He glows bright red and slams into Loren, dealing massive damage. Loren skids in the snow, but amazingly hits no Spikes.

Loren is very angry and forcefully gets on his feet. He takes a deep breath and fires a powerful Flamethrower at Ferdinand. Ferdinand quickly counters with a Water Pulse. It slows down the fire and weakens it but it is not enough. The greatly smaller spot of flame breaks through and slams into Ferdinand. Ferdinand screeches, and lies in the snow for a few seconds. He groans over is painful burns before slowly getting up.
