Exterminator Challange II - Chris 2.0 VS Darth Skrusti: Ref Vermillion

After enjoying my last match with MeLoveGhosts I'm using this arena a second time against anybody who wants to challange me!

Banned moves: status inducers (sleep, burn, paralyse, poison), substitute, attract, 'cheap moves' (destiny bond, grudge, memento, pain split, explosion, self-destruct etc etc, counter, bide, reversal, endeavor etc)



Arena: The Exterminator

The arena is set very high up. It is comprised of small platforms each about a foot apart covering the size of a normal arena. These platforms are generally suited for one Pokemon (for example, you may get two Surskit on a platform, but certainly not two Sceptile) and in the center of the platforms is a platform suited for two Pokemon. The platforms are also hexagonal, although this is a very trivial piece of information. They are made of a thick steel. This match will require projectile attacks more than physical fighting, as foes will generally not be within close range of each other. However physical contact can be expected should the foes get towards the middle. If a foe is thrown off the edge of the platforms, they are automatically brought back up to the platforms at the cost of an action for the next turn*. Being lithe or agile may not be a plus point, as you may fall off the edge of the arena.

*This does NOT mean that you can attack your foe while they are climbing back up. They are brought back up automatically, but can only use 2 attacks the next round as a penalty.

Now, before I attack, are moves that, on the side, can cause status ailments (Confusion, Poison Sting, etc.) allowed?

Confusion is allowed, but burn, freeze, toxic and sleep are not. So for example...poisob fang would work but toxic wouldnt. Only direct status dealers.

Ok Rouge let's go! Release a sweet scent to tinker with your foes evasion. Next, hit it head on with a razor leaf and finish with a double team.

Righto then. Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, Confuse ray, Stun Spore, etc. *nods*

Who said I wanted to 'evade' anything? ;D

Yuki, let's show your old trainer how good you've become!

Put that Sweet Scent out of mind with a nice Calming of your Mind!

Next, let's show you are indeed "The One" XD! Use Confusion to stop those leaves in their tracks! Send them back too, if you can!

Finally, since Double Team messes with vision, not psych, and clones don't have minds, use Psychic to pick out the right one and blast it for good damage!

Intro
Hovering in an endless void, the Exterminator is not an environment for the weak. This challenging battle field is the choice arena for our moderator, Chris 2.0., who has issued this battle, sitting atop his floating platform. He throw’s a normal style pokeball to smack a platform and release a green bulb saurian pokemon. His opponent Darth Skrusti rubs his chin as an idea comes to him. With a slight sneer he releases Yuki, a Psychic yoga master, and also the former pokemon of Chris. Although there eyes lock for half a second, all memories of the past are forgotten, he is only another enemy to beat…

BATTLE

Distanced by a great gap, Rouge starts by excitedly shaking her bulb, and from her core a wafting pink mist sails at Yuki. Before the narcotic effects of the sweet scents can numb her actions she closes her eyes and levitates slightly in an Indian style position. She chants and focuses on reaching another plane mentally and doing so completely ignores to cloud.

The Bulbasaur snorts at her failed tactic and goes on the offensive again launching a volley of floral shuriken. Yuki awakens, empowered by the centering of her mind and glows a brilliant blue, simultaneously freezing the leaves inches from her body. With all her will she returns the attack to its creator, slashing Rouge a great deal.

Seeing that all her attempts are just falling short, Rouge opts to hide among clones, flashing white and creating 2 others on her platform. The psychic is no fool though and touches a hand to her temple to mentally scan for any life signs…wait…there! With a battle cry she fires a psychic bolt which tags the center Bulbasaur, toppling her off the edge to fall helplessly...

Hmm...You're doing good Yuki! Sit there and READ Rogue's MIND. This should give you a good idea as to what is coming up. Then, use SHADOW BALL followed by messing up its mind with a CONFUSION.

Rouge swan dives in the nothingness of the Exterminator; will she see level ground ever again? Yes indeed, as an ancient machine activates and zaps her to fade into light. She reappears, landing unceremoniously, to her former landing. This arena will keep her from falling and as she gathers her bearing Yuki skillfully analyzes her opponents mind, nothing will surprise her now.

With a determined growl, the Bulbasaur releases a barrage of magical energy leaves. They have a homing ability which locks onto the little fighter, but Yuki doesn’t move. Just as the attack is about to collide, Yuki quickly releases a Shadow Ball to absorb the leaves as it travels. While taking to multiple energy shots, the ball is weaken as it hit Rogue.

Yuki smiles at her good fortune and readies for the next assault, which comes in a volley of razor leaves. Yuki extends his arms and yells, sending a psychic migraine to Rouge, who quivers and loses control of the last few projectiles. Yuki is struck by three leaves despite the mental attack…

Pelt it with a sludge bomb, then use double team and end with razor leaf.

DETECT the Sludge Bomb, and leap to another platform if possible.

PSYCHIC to blast through the clones.

If it is able to pull off Razor Leaf, become the One again and use CONFUSION. If it's not, then sit there and CALM your MIND once more.

Dispite the set back, Rouge still carries a happy expression as she rears her bulb up. From within the core, a glowing violet light spills out and begins to manifest into a basketball sized bound of sludge. It pulsates with explosive power and Yuki is not going to be its victim today. She calls upon a 6th sense and predicts where it will land and how far to be away from the energy and leaps with great acrobatic skill. The bomb hits the platform and destroys it to Rogues sadness.

Now with her opponent closer than she would like the Bulbasaur goes into hiding again, with little other option, cloning herself twice for a total of three. Yuki knows the best method for this strategy and launches a spanning psychic pulse which tags all that lie in its way.

Rouge is deathly pushed by the technique to the edge of platform but finds her footing and snarls, throwing razors leaves. They sail and once again Yuki uses her mind to try and stop them. Her mental abilities are being strained after 2 such powerful technique and she in only away to divert two before she is overwhelmed and knocked to off her small ledge. Only quick thinking saving her as she grabs the edge with her left hand…

I would think that with her mind calmed she'd be able to do that without too much strain o0

Yuki, you're very acrobatic. Plant your feet firmly onto the side of the pillar, and use it to propel you to the next one by pushing off and jumping. Should be able to perform a neat little back-flip with that, and hopefully land on a pillar.

SECRET POWER, then use a FIRE PUNCH. Leap from platform to platform if you have to. Your mind is calmed, you should be able to concentrate quite easily, so DETECT any moves it throws at you whilst hopping.

Yuuki wont be as calm if she is using psychic so much. Whatever she does, a lot of repelleing attacks will be very hard to do for a prolonged time.

Double team, grab it with vine whip and toss it off the edge. Then, if you can, fire a sludge bomb down at her.

Since it was only 3 rounds nobody gets any points.
