The copies should take care of any status inflictions, but go on the offensive and throw a Shadowball at him for a super effective hit! Then Yawn him and Shadowball him again! If he comes close Lick him! Protect if somehow the status infliction gets to you!

Al’s body is rematerialized and called back to quickly be replaced by that of a ghastly spirit. Shinigami cackles darkly as he floats in front of his opponent. Dion is not amused…not at all…

Without delay Snorlax and his twins lift a paw over their heads and create small black orbs that exspands quickly to a basketball size. Shin eyes the triplets and chooses to follow suit, splitting into a group of 6 to circle Dion. He grumbles at his own tactics used against him and randomly throws his attack, which own takes out a copy which Shin cackles at.

Before the lumbering tyrant can make a move, the Haunter glows and taunts him to fight, saying he couldn’t hit a parked car with his Shadow Ball. Steam shoots from his ear as Dion’s anger rise, and through this, he loses his concentration of his attacks and clones opting to deal physical pain to Shin. He charges and swipes hard…only tagging a clone.

This feels familiar as Dion is now the monkey in the middle and again powers a Shadow Ball. He throws at a hopeful victim but stomps the ground in contempt, missing yet again! With this opportunity, Shin sails in and sinks his poison filled fangs into his neck, to cause Dion to twitch as it enters his nervous system…

Excellent work, 'gami. Now, let's play defensively whilst his poison slowly eats his life force away. Fire him up with another 1] Taunt so he doesn't cast another Double Team. He shouldn't be able to protect against it because you're not really hitting him. Follow that up with another 2] Double Team. Then you're free to relax. However, if Dion attempts to beam you with either a Shadow Ball or Lick, then use Spite.

Dion shifts his eyes between the three specters who in turn circle the Snorlax with mischievous grins. Shin’ and his clones again provoke to get a rise out of Dion but he has felt the effects of this technique and fights it off with all his will. Dionysus roars to stave off the hypnotic effects of Taunt and discharges a powerful Psychic pulse, blasting all the clones and the true Haunter.

Shin hits the ground and tries to levitate up but a volley of stones smack him, and to his surprise he sees his opponent in turmoil as well! Suddenly from above another dust devil falls and traps the two within its funnel, with force winds strong enough to lift the massive bear. They spin, getting pelted with dust, before being thrown harshly to the ground.

Shinigami cough’s and simply lays where he is to regain endurance as Dion rolls up, brusied and banged, wisings to absorb any abilities of the ghost, but none remain…he sighs defeated…

The Snorlax poises himself and focuses on the ethereal abilities at his command. He raises his tubby arm and inches from his paw a sphere of blackness forms, crackling with violet energy. He rears back to lob his present but is stopped yet again, the constant cackling and taunts of Shin begging him to strike head on. Dion does his best to fight it off, but it’s no use; he breaks the shadow ball and rushes the specter, only to pass through it with each swipe he takes.

With little worry of being touched by this lumbering ox, Shin faintly flashes and circles Dion with 5 copies, courtesy of Double Team. Back to the square one of fighting Haunter Dion ponders and uses his own angering tactics, showing his rears to all doubles and sticking his tongue out. This confusing display works a nerve inside Shin and he too drops his technique and charges with rage.

So caught up in the embarrassing event Shin gathers his explosive poison attack but fires hastily, missing by many inches to have the blast destroy a section of the cactus ring. Dion’s mouth curls into a grin as the confused Ghost is the victim of an effective Shadow Ball blast…

In his mind, the specter Shinigami, sees pretty birdies twittering around his head. He enthusiastically reaches and swats for the images his confused mind has fabricated but notices something odd. A large…blue…boulder? “Hi Mr. Boulder!!” he calls and rushes at the rolling mass, but before he can realize his grave mistake, Shin is flatten by Dion’s bulk.

Lifting his mashed body, the Ghost easily re-inflates and shakes the last of the confusion away, the hit help a lot with that. Remembering something about relaxing he wants to do so dearly but instead Shin dives away from the still rolling Snorlax.

Shin has had enough of this and lunges with his fangs bared to pop this tire for good. Dion circles a 3rd time and aims true for Shin and they both collide. Shin bites down and is carried away in the revolutions of Dion who screeches to a halt and roars in pain as the Haunter hold his grip on his backside, dirty and bruised, but determined…

Sweating profusely Dion sizes up the situation, inhales deeply and casts a gale of freezing air and ice shards. The Blizzard attack flies true but in this horrible heat it melts away to a spray of cool liquid, Shin scoff’s and levitates into the atmosphere.

High above any type of hazard this lummox can dish out, Shin watches carefully for something that may be useful…but nothing comes as Dion passes out from heat exhaustion….

Then, since he'll be unguarded (and still very slow), hit 'im with 2] Toxic! Finally, relax.

Dionysus is recalled to the climate controlled pokeball with little said and is replaced in a flash by a bubbling hot slug. The intense heat doesn’t even faze Hephaestus, who smokes with anticipation at the Ghost type. Shin glows black and begins his stealing ritual but there is nothing to be taken from the Slug. Hep’ smirks and yawns loudly to release a puff of greenish gas which floats up at a quick pace to surround Shin. He breathes in the sleeping vapor and slowly becomes groggy.

As Shin slowly descends, feeling drowse, Hep spews a thick cloud of poison. Although it has no effect on Shin’s other type, he still coughs as it enters him and only helps to lose consciousness.

A ball of fire flickers inside the gloom and fires to tag Shin and burn him harshly, thanks to his immobility. He continues to burn from the vapors upon his body….

Shins loud snoring is an effective locator in the murky smog. Conjuring deep within him self, the lava slug blast a super heat ball of steam, which collides with Shin and abruptly launches him awake and out of the fog. He shakes the last of his doziness away and roars statement to Hep’ that turn him a brighter red that he already was!

As fast as his slimy body will carry him, Hep’ lunges to strike the Ghost in anger, but easily passes through the specter. Chuckling with delight, Shin places a Spiteful curse upon him, glowing black and encasing the Slugma in the same aura.

The unsettling anger fades from Hep’s thoughts but his can still feel the strangling hold the dark attack has upon him. He tries to generate a fire ball but it’s as if all his energy is depleted. He shoots a golf-balled sized flame that barely scorches Shin. The task completed, Shin returns the restful favor by waving him hands in a rhythmic fashion. Hep’s cannot turn away from the spectacle and his head smacks the dry earth, sleeping…

The nose bubble, tell tale sign of slumber in the anime world, and companion to our slugged friend. Hep snores up a storm as he is easily attacks by the specter. Shin rests a ghostly paw upon the temple of his opponent and winces a bit from his molten skin. None the less the Huanter begins to absorb the mental images and turn them into nourishment. Slugma twitches on the touch and murmurs under his breathe…causing his liquid body to gain density.

Curious by the hardness of the slug, Shin pecks him on his head…rock solid. Shrugging, Shin simply catches his breathe, just as another Sleep Talk escapes the lips of the Slugma. Hep’ rears up and launches a massive ball of fire which shapes into a symbol…a FIRE BLAST! It collides and drags Shin a good distance before dissipating.

Even with the little energy returned, the powerful fire attack has done a number on him. He coughs and locates his opponent, who speeds at him like an Indy grand prix car. The Rollout plows the ghost type hard and flattens him but good, finishing the last of his energy….

Replacing our favorite ghost is a shockingly powerful canine. Renard sparks and growls at the snoring slug and lowers himself to lunge into action. MLG shouts his orders but he hasn’t noticed his pokemon still fast asleep…the orders enter his mind very hazily but he is swiftly brought around by a speed slam!

Hep rolls on the desert floor and jars awake, “Who! What! Where!” he cries, and groggily remembers his attack patterns. He begins to muster the drowsy cloud that is Yawn but he halts, his ears stinging from the super sonic yelps of the electric pup. Hep is flung away to smack into a cactus, back first.

Renard sparks and snickers at the flailing slug and readies a thick venom in his gullet. He takes careful aim, but a change in the wind stops him. Suddenly yet another sand twister forms and spins the pair away from each other, pelting with rocks. Hep is very bruised and sore while his opponent shakes the excess dust from his coat, annoyed.

Nursing his wound, Hep’ finds Renard pawing the ground in anticipation. Taking a deep breath, another sleep inducing yawn is prepared but the electric is keen to this technique and instantly flares up with a burning luminance. Hep’s eyes are filled and he yelps from the screaming pain in his eyes, spewing the gas off into the sky.

Renard works fast and flashes, splitting into a wide circle of 6 doppelgangers, all growling and sparking. With no sight to work with, the Slugma does his best and rolls up into a lava ball and speeds in a random direction, taking out 1 clone…and landing in a patch of cactus! His hardened body stops the needles from fully skewering him, but it still hurts terribly.

Now with secure defenses, the Renard’s line up and plant themselves onto the dusty soil and takes a breather, just as Hephaestus frees himself from the barb prison. His vision slowly returns, still fuzzy though, and he ponder how a pack of Electrike just sprung out of sand! Grumbling from this twisted guessing game he spits a lashing tongue of heat to the far right, only managing to vaporize 2 clones…
