Mmhmmm... I have a free slot, and I'm hankerin' for a good old They Might Be Giants themed match.

RULES

DQ: 1 week
Pokemon: 4 v 4, all out at once (free for all!)
Banned moves: Recovery (Recover, not Giga Drain), Toxic, cheapness (Perish Song, Grudge, Destiny Bond, Explosion, etc.), Attract
Arena: The Corner Store
The Pokemon do battle in a large nightclub. The regulars have moved off the dance floor to allow the Pokemon room to fight. It's really big - any Pokemon will fit comfortably. The nightclub doesn't have any specific traps or perils. As it is inside, weather moves will not work. Also, ground-shaking moves won't work, and there's no mud. Dirt and dust, however, can be used - people track dirt in all the time. If a Pokemon can't battle on land (ie fish Pokemon), a large tank of water will be provided. The water is pure, so it WILL NOT conduct electricity - so to zap a Pokemon in the water, you have to hit the Pokemon itself. Also, the water is continually replenished, so moves like Surf can be used. Also, it's very loud in the nightclub, so sound-based attacks will have lowered effectiveness.

I think that's it. I'll send out first, and you attack first.

I'll lead with Particle Man (male Nosepass)!
Next, I'll use Triangle Man (male Sharpedo)!
Then, I'll send out Universe Man (male Poliwrath)!
Finally, I'll call upon Person Man (male Mr. Mime)!

Sean Paul, i want you to jump into the tub and use Dragon Dance to power up and hopefully evade your opponents tactics. Then i want you to stir up your opponents by making a large twister in the water. Finish up using the twister to fuel a massive Dragon Rage on Triangle man.

Okay, Triangle Man, let's start with you. When Sean Paul jumps into your tub, intimidate him with a Scary Face. Then, Agility to swim around the tub in a circle, avoiding Twister and hopefully confusing your foe a bit. Finally, match your foe's Dragon Rage with an Icy Wind.

Universe Man, keep Akon from attacking by lulling him to sleep - Hypnosis! Then nail him with an Ice Punch then a Seismic Toss (preferably into one of his teammates).

round one
The Corner Store: setting for the current battle. The crazy kung-fu dancers have parted from the stage, but the music, "Tri-tri-tri-triangle m-m-m-man, tri-triangle man," unfortunately remains. The two trainers step out onto the dance floor. TheBlueAvenger grabs four balls from his bag, and tosses them speratically along the floor, except for one, which lands in the pool. Four pokémon, intimidatingly intimidating, glare at the younger adversary, Mega Horny. He pays them no attention, and merely tosses four poké balls to the floor as well. The pokémon, totalling eight, ready themselves for what promises to be a by-the-numbers affair.

The commands have been ordered, and despite the loud bastardization of "Triangle Man" blaring thoughout the arena, the eight pokémon are ready to battle. Starting first, Sean Paul uses his tail as a spring, and propels himself high into the air, landing in the pool of sparkling water. As he regains his poise, he catches wind of the sharpedo's sickening gaze. Triangle Man lulls his foe into a sense of fear whilst the other battlers immediately find their place. Meanwhile, the tiny exeggcute squeeze together whilst staring at their target - the much larger, more intimidating, poliwrath. As Akon tries desperately to lift his foe high into the air, Universe Man merely chuckles despite the uncomforability (9% – Universe Man), taking advantage of the situation. The swirly black mark on his chest begins to rotate clockwise; Akon, having stared so long at the large leviathan, cannot help but fall under the spell. Slim Thug, the not-so-thin, not-so-thuggish growlithe then darts over towards the mime, Person Man. As Slim Thug's teech begin to trickle with a sense of dark energy, lunges forward. Unfortunately, Person Man immediately vanishes before any harm can be done, leaving the confused growlithe to take the cackling electricity shot at him by Particle Man, the nosepass. Finally, Cuboner attempts to throw rocks at his foes... however, with no rocks in sight, he cowers in sorrow.

Sean Paul then squeals loudly, summoning a draconic twister inside the pool. The waters dance around dangerously as Triangle Man darts faster and faster underneath. Unfortunately, however, the currents are much too strong, and begin to rip through Triangle Man's defenses (7% – Triangle Man). The horrendous tornado dies down, as both the sharpedo and the dratini attempt to regain their dizzied state. Akon is still sleeping soundly; Universe Man then beams him harshly with a well-prepared fist covered in ice energy (9% – Akon). Akon, no longer asleep, pulls away from the larger foe and attempts to gather some energy from the smaller nosepass. As said nosepass shoots towards the unguarded cubone, Akon shoots out four bubbles. The green barrage latches onto the rock titan as he plows into Cuboner (6% – Cuboner). Feeling faint, Particle Man watches as his depleted energy retreats back to Akon (12% – Particle Man; 6% – Akon). Slim Thug, feeling very sluggish, again sets his sights for Person Man. His teeth are soaked once more with dark energy as he launches for the human-shaped mime; unfortunately, before he can latch onto the pokémon, his body becomes enveloped with a purple aura as he is flung further away from his foe (6% – Slim Thug).

Sean Paul finishes off his volley of attacks by dancing around in the pure waters. His draconic energy grows as another blue tornado is summoned in the pool. Triangle Man tries his best not to be sucked in (7% – Triangle Man), calling a blanket of ice to envelop the massive tornado. The dragon rage freezes, creating an ice tornado that burns the slim dratini (8% – Sean Paul). The ice tornado falls, leaving several chunks of ice in the waters. Feeling refreshed, Akon attempts to hurl rocks at his foes... unfortunately, like before, there are no rocks to throw. A-akon's in a pickle. As the exeggcute falters over master's orders, Universe Man collects the scattered eggs and proceeds to toss them, one at a time, at the unguarded Cuboner. Cuboner is pelted four times by his ally, literally (4% – Cuboner; 4% – Akon). Particle Man then waddles over to the cubone with his right fist trickling with a similar ice coating. He slams the icey fist into the cubone, causing some good damage (9% – Cuboner). Person Man, meanwhile, directs an attack in the future; whilst his mind is elsewhere, Slim Thug readies his final attack. He breathes in, firing a sturdy chain of fire to disrupt the mime. Person Man, upon returning to the present, is scathed by the flames (6% – Person Man), but he merely smirks to himself.

Surprisingly dull, so far. A beam has been summoned from the future, and it looks like it's gonna attack Slim Thug at the beginning of next round.

DAMN SUCH GOOD STRATEGY!!!

Ok Sean Paul, I want you to instantly send a wave of Surf at Triangle man, so he hopefully freezes it instead and the hardened ice comes down on him. Then, when he uses Icy Wind, blow it back at him with one of your Twisters. Then, when hes using torment use that rage to leap out of the water and shock him with a thunderbolt which unlike Thunder, doesnt come from the sky, so you should be able to use it.

Now Akon, I want you to hit Person man with a Stun Spore when he comes at you, and then while hes paralyzed use Mimic to copy his Mega Punch, and (somehow) hit him with it a few times!

Cuboner, Universe Man may be a powerful man, but lets try and outsmart him! dig a big hole in the ground to avoid bubblebeam, then use a fast aerial ace to blow him into the hole before he can steal your bone and finish by packing him into it by Bone Clubbing him on the head like a whack-a-mole.

Ok Slim Thug, Use agility to run behind the rolling Nosepass and use Aerial Ace to send his already speeding ass into a wall. Finish with a double team.

round two
The second round begins just as quickly as the first with all four pokémon ready to go. With his newfound speed, Triangle Man swims to the height of the pure water where Sean Paul swims, shooting out an ice beam. Sean Paul counters, however, by causing the waters to dart around uncontrollably. The waters manage to melt away the ice slightly, as the water is warmer than the ice; the weakened ice beam slams into Sean Paul (5% – Sean Paul), doing less-than-stellar damage. Meanwhile, the mime, Person Man, comes over to his foe smacking his fists together in an intimidating manner (which would be far more intimidating if Person Man didn't look like a sad clown). Akon, however, doesn't fret; as the large fist pelts into him (5% – Akon), the exeggcute reacts by emitting a yellow cloud of toxins into the air. One whiff of the cloud, and Person Man's limbs become locked. The battle then turns to Cuboner, who is, for some reason, attempting to scratch at the ground for freedom. Unfortunate, a volley of several bubbles crashes into him for decent damage (8% – Cuboner). Particle Man, the nosepass, falls to his side and proceeds to roll around the Corner Store aiming for the fire hound. Slim Thug crouches down, leaping away from the rolling nosepass just in time.

Triangle Man immediately summons another cloud of cold wind to come gushing into the frantic arena. Feeling slightly cold (5% – Sean Paul), the dratini manages to create a massive, draconic twister to hurl the blunt of the attack away from him. Triangle Man takes damage as the ripping winds scrape against him (5% – Triangle Man). Akon then goes back to seeing Person Man using that blasted punch, and tries to devise a plan to start using it. Person Man, however, then decides to punch his foe with a hint of fire; alas, his muscles lock up, making him unable to do so. Cuboner, embarressed that another attack had failed, sets his sights on the poliwrath. The massive water fighter engages forward, managing to pilfer the pride and joy of the cubone, his mother's bone. Cuboner angrily shoots out a barrage of wind "missiles", which strike the fighting pokémon for light damage on contact (6% – Universe Man). Slim Thug is about to pull the same procedure, but his movements become less fluid and completely freeze up before doing so. Particle Man collides with the growlithe (9% – Slim Thug) before turning around to gain more momentum.

As the round comes to a close, Triangle Man catches the eyes of Sean Paul. A grim darkness locks the slim dratini's mind in place; thinking nothing of it, Sean Paul immediately leaps from the water and shoots out a bolt of electricity, which instantly collides with the dark shark pokémon (12% – Triangle Man). Sean Paul lands upon the floor safely. Akon continues to contemplate just how he'll go about punching his foe, but since he lacks the required appendages, he merely sighs. This gives Person Man the edge, as he slams the egg collection with another fist, this time covered in ice. Akon cries in pain as the icy appendage slams into him (8% – Akon). Cuboner cries in pain as he watches Universe Man break the bone in two with his technique. The half bone hits the wall, to be retrieved by Cuboner. Angrily, the cubone hurls what's left of his weapon directly at Universe Man, dealing slight damage (4% – Universe Man) before hitting the ground once more. Finally, Particle Man passes once more, slamming into the fire pokémon with even more power (11% – Slim Thug); the nosepass comes to a halt, dizzily. Slim Thug, tired and strained, then summons five more clones to envelop the arena, awaiting the next round's orders.

the results
There are six growlithe all around the arena. Triangle Man is a bit charred whilst still remaining in the pool. Sean Paul is tormented, unable to use the same technique twice in a row. Person Man and Slim Thug are paralyzed, and Particle Man looks to be dizzy. Universe Man is cocky, whilst Cuboner seems to be mourning over the loss of his focus. Akon is still struggling to fathom just how he was supposed to punch his opponent without any arms.

Yes, I obeyed the rules ^^, my banner only has exeggutor on it so RaZoR won't have to edit it when I get one. Yes, I am aware of torments effects, just thought the way the opponent stopped me from using the same moves in a row involved 'tormenting' for some reason.

Ok, slim Thug, I want you to Crunch Person man and hold on tight. Then, while your attached breath a hot wave of fire across him from point blank, hopefully lighting his annoying hair on fire. Then let go after hes on fire and you and your clones run around him in circles with Extreme Speed to arouse the flames and turn that mime into a tornado of fire.

Exeggcute, send some roots up into the tank. The water should work for you as an unlimited source of power, seeing as you're an egg. I want you to then use them to send a super powered Giga Drain through the pool to Sharpedo.

Triangle Man, Crunch onto any roots that come into your tank, then Thrash about with them in your mouth - try to tear them off. Then use a Scary Face at Sean Paul again.

With no one else in the pool, Triangle Man sighs. Why does no one want to play with me, I'd imagine he'd be thinking right now if he were capable of thinking. Akon the exeggcute attempts to unleash a series of vines into the pool, but as he does so, a disgruntled referee barges in blowing his whistle several times, doing no such dent on the ears of the various trainers or pokémon considering that the music in the arena has done so already.

"Using moves that replenish health in this battle are void," boasts the referee, "Ingrain is deemed a 'recovery move' and thus cannot be used."

Akon sighs and recalls his various vines. Meanwhile, the large rock pokémon, Particle Man, fumes loudly as a cackling electricity is shot directly at the slithery sea serpent, Sean Paul. The dratini's muscles become strickened with paralysis, and his movements become frigid and slow-like. Angry, he manages to aim at the Universe, charging a similar electricity within his body. Universe Man sweats, grabbing two of the exeggcutor eggs and holding them defensively. Sean Paul inadvertently fires off the massive thunder, striking both Akon and Universe Man, having differing effects (7% – Akon; 15% – Universe Man). Finally, Slim Thug wards off his paralysis and manages to strike; he lunges for the mime, Person, with his teeth sickened with dark energy. However, as he lunges towards the creature, said creature immediately vanishes only to reappear within an arm's-length behind him. Cuboner, mourning the loss of his mother's keepsake, summons a chilling wind which engulfs the Corner Store, causing small ice damage to all contenders not named Cuboner (2% – Triangle Man; 3% – Particle Man; 2% – Universe Man; 3% – Person Man; 5% – Sean Paul; 5% – Akon; 2% – Slim Thug), which also destroys the growlithe clones. Triangle Man merely eases back, considering that his combination attack has nothing to strike.

Being one of the only pokémon on Mega Horny's team not stricken with paralysis, Akon fires off four green bubbles which hover in the air and into the pool, latching onto the Triangle. Triangle Man begins to feel drained as his energy is sapped from his scaley hide immensely; the four bubbles then retreat back to Akon, healing him (8% – Triangle Man; 4% – Akon). Cuboner continues his assault, demanding that the icy wind become icier and windier, unfortunately causing more damage to his teammates than his opponents (2% – Triangle Man; 3% – Particle Man; 2% – Universe Man; 3% – Person Man; 5% – Sean Paul; 5% – Akon; 2% – Slim Thug). The dratini acts again, however the anguishing torment spell he had succumbed to would not allow him to attack using the thunderous energy. Akon sighs in relief. Particle Man then shoots Akon with a similar electricity, paralyzing him in the same manner. Person Man then holds the growlithe in the air for a few seconds before hurling him into a wall, causing both mental damage as well as physical damage (5% + 5% – Slim Thug). The growlithe winces in pain as he prepares his elemental attack; warding off paralysis once more, the fire hound emits a small wave of fire which scathes across the mime harshly, causing decent damage (8% – Person Man). Triangle Man merely eases back, again.

The final set of attacks commence: having an incredible sense of speed, Slim Thug darts around his mime adversary (how does he do it?), managing to manipulate some of the flames that hadn't yet died down. As the flames chase behind him, he manages to slam harshly into Person Man as the flames once more strike (7% + 4% – Person Man). The nosepass then wanders over to Cuboner. Probably thinking something about giving the mouse a "real" ice attack or something; Particle Man plows Cuboner with an icy fist (8% – Cuboner). The mouse retalliates by allowing the icier, windier icy wind to become... iciest windiest? Yeah... (2% – Triangle Man; 3% – Particle Man; 2% – Universe Man; 3% – Person Man; 5% – Sean Paul; 5% – Akon; 2% – Slim Thug). Still entangled in the clutches of Universe Man, Akon shoots off another volley of bubbles as Triangle Man gapes at his slithery foe with an intimidating stare. Sean Paul becomes daunted, and his speed falls harshly. Triangle Man's energy is once more siphoned as the four bubbles return to Akon (8% – Triangle Man; 4% – Akon). Sean Paul looks away from the dark shark and shoots off another massive collection of electricity, destroying all faith that Akon had for him (7% – Akon; 15% – Universe Man). Universe Man, a bit weary (and angry with the lightning gods), angrily hurls the two exeggcute eggs (whom had suffered a similar fate) at the slithery dratini, causing more damage to both foes (5% – Sean Paul; 7% – Akon). Person Man finishes out the round, holding his arms outstretched. Unfortunately, even with the minute movement required for his attack, his muscles are locked, disallowing him to do anything whatsoever.

Universe Man, try not to move too much. Bulk Up a bit, then use a Hypnosis at your closest foe. If they fall asleep, Dream Eater 'em; if not, use a Helping Hand on whichever teammate is nearest.
