Yu-Gi-Oh! Apprentice/YVD League

How many of you would take part in a TPM Yu-Gi-Oh! Apprentice tournament? I could split myself into an OCG and TCG tournament if need be~ I'm sure I could do a quick read up on the TCG meta and build a compretative deck ;x

If all goes well, I was also thinking about extending this to SPP aswell. Kinda like TPM vs. SPP to see which board has the better duellists (With Myself, Nace & Chaos how can we lose?).

I suppose I could give it a shot, though the timezone difference might be a problem. You guys seem most active around my 2am-ish =/

Well living in England, I'm online from about 11am untill 11pm, so depening on where you are:

USA East Coast I'm +5 hours ahead
USA West Coast I'm +8 hours ahead

I seriously would LOVE to give it a try (and thanks for the props). One problem though...I can't run Apprentice (I have a Macintosh). So, I have no clue if there's a YGO Dueling program anywhere that works for Macs.

Also we should probably use YVD. It's literally made for YGO so a lot of the YGO only commands would probably work out a lot easier.

YVD blows ;x I dunno if it has set releases + promos to follow the OCG stuff? I don't use it so I dunno ;/

I don't believe so. But it's easy enough to make them.

Apprentice is crap overall for anything but Magic/any WotC-made game. Having patches for a rather small group of people(I'm sure they have plenty of japanese alternatives >_>) doesn't make up for literaly being tailored for the game.

YVD does indeed have the OCG cards available. I'll have to find out exactly where, but they're out there.

Does that include every card released in Promo/LE/Set/etc? My App patch has the lot. McKenna makes all the patches for me ;x

App works perfect for any card game that I've played on it. It works well for YGO, Magic, DM, etc~ there isn't an option on App that doesn't work with YGO...

I'll need to D/L YVD and get it's patch if that's being used. I'll be at a disadvantage if I use it though... but meh, oh well. Makes it more fun x]

So I assume that we're all up for this idea then~? Which of us are taking part~? I'll edit the first post to include names.

Yeah, I'm pretty much out from this tournament (unless we do Instant Messenger duels, and that's iffy at best with most of you guys I guess).

I would DL Boot Camp, but I don't have a Mac computer that has an Intel Core Duo for it to work

The joy of owning a mac~ I only use my mac for graphics. It loads up photoshop and image ready faster then my XP. Speaking of which I think I shall mod the case sometime this month ;/
