I find a new song, BOOOYAH! Never underestimate the resourcefulness of a Dru-id.

"The day has darkened once again. Moonlight shifts my chemistry." -'Nightgown', by The Rosedales

[color=red]I pushed the boy towards the door of the pantry; shock always seemed to, well... shock some people. I ran back to where I had left my clothes, or what was left of my clothes, and attempted to gather them. The problem with not having hands is just that; I didn't know how to carry my clothing without changing back, and I didn't really want to. Everything was much more fun this way... but a bit more difficult.

I glared at my clothing in frustration. I didn't want to change back right now, but I didn't want to leave my clothes behind. I was attached to my clothing... then the thought hit me that I probably never would see my wardrobe again. Sorrow swept through me... gods, I was materialistic, huh? I twitched my ear in irritation, trying to turn my focus back to my current predicament.

The raccoon girl came up beside me, watching me carefully, and saw my problem. She put my clothing and shoes in a bag, which she apparently planned on carrying herself. I barked softly; she raised an eyebrow and lay the bag on the floor by my feet. Carefully, I took the bag in my mouth and, if I focused, I found that I could keep the bag far enough off of the floor that I didn't trip.

We left the house, with no real destination other than away from here. I followed quietly; a few curious glances were thrown in my direction, but I was otherwise unnoticed. We must have looked like some random group of kids with a funny looking dog following along.

Night fell, and I glanced above us to see the moon rising in the sky. It looked so different through these new eyes, but no less beautiful. Its force was compelling... no wonder man and beast alike had had an obsession with the moon since Creation.

Voices brought me back to earth. Two adults, two normal, human adults, were tearfully embracing the raccoon girl, Annri.

"Please, we need a place to stay for a while...” Annri begged.

I watched with my deep, black eyes.
