The birds in the sky chirp peacefully as they glide effortlessly in the air as they pass overhead. Both trainers, one sporting a strange clock around his neck, the other named "Mega Horny". The two trainers, without thinking, toss out their respective poké balls.

Emerging from the first one is a, rather purple, hypnotic pokémon named after one of the only respectable musicians of the genre, OutKast. The drowzee cackles happily as his trunk flaps around. Stepping out of his own ball is a much larger, yellow dragon. Liam groans loudly, letting us all know that he's ready to battle.

The coin lands on tails, letting us know that Vermillion is to attack first.

Finally, use brick break to break off a chunk of the hard stone courtyard's ground and chuck it at Ampharos -- hopefully it will hit him for some perhaps ground type damage and absorb some of the power from shock wave.

round one
Cerulean skies paint the aboves whilst various earth-tones color the belows. The two pokémon, one a purple psychic, the other an electric dragon (both of them one of a kind in the TPML), ready themselves for what promises to be a "by-the-numbers" affair between elemental monsters that can fit into the size of your pocket that can, at the same token, create hail storms if they so chose. Liam starts the battle with his eyes closed as he conjures a protective veil of silvery protection. The veil fades awa into nothingness almost as quickly as it appeared (7% – Liam), giving the ampharos some much-needed encouragement. OutKast, the drowzee, also begins by focusing on himself. His mind at ease and his mind purged of all unsensical thoughts, he embraces the battle at hand (4% – OutKast).

Liam once more focuses on himself, dividing his dragon stature and creating several clones which envelop the peaceful garden setting easily (6% – Liam). This does not falter OutKast however; the psychic pokémon merely eases back, shooting off a barrage of stars from his trunk in a wide direction. The various stars shoot rip through the clones as if they're nothing but mere illusions; Liam squeels in mild pain as the attack scrapes along him, forcing him to lose all concentration (3% – Liam; 5% – OutKast).

Liam, a bit annoyed that his duplication technique staggered, stares down his psychic adversary angirly, shooting off a swift collection of electric "darts" in a manner akin to OutKast's previous attack. With only a single target, the aforementioned electric darts all hit home, giving the drowzee quite a piercing shock (6% – OutKast; 4% – Liam). Shrugging it off, OutKast holds his right fist high, contemplating if he should really go through with master's orders. Deciding to comply, the psychic type slams his fist into the cement floor only to realize that concrete hurts, especially when your fists aren't meant for physical contact (3% – OutKast). The cement softens a bit, but not nearly enough to be considered a projectile.

the results
The cement underneath OutKast has been "softened", if you could really call it that. OutKast's right arm is very sore, but at least his mind is at ease, right? Right?.

round two
The skies still their natural color, we enter the second round of this battle of electric dragons and psychic... elephants? I'll go with that. Aforememtnioned psychic elepant begins the round haphazardly, projecting a protective veil which disappears from sight a few seconds after it's cast (5% – OutKast). Electric dragon, Liam, starts off by thinking back to his days as a sheep... a crazy electric sheep... if that makes any sense. Anyway, in thinking back, Liam conjures up a storm of spores and cotton fibers which envelop the arena, obscuring the vision of OutKast, as well as slowing him down (4% – Liam).

OutKast, having a difficult time sighting his foe, projects his mind outwards in an attempt to lock Liam in place. Liam, however, merely shoots off a conjurence of electricity; the static charge envelops the psychic elephant, tightening his muscles dreadfully (5% – Liam). With his muscles locking, OutKast struggles to perform his psychosis, but eventually nails down the electric beast. Liam begins to feel his mind no longer at ease as it trembles and quakes from the drowzee's influence (7% – Liam; 6% – OutKast).

Unable to move and keep the ampharos pinned down at the same time, OutKast readies keeps his mind clear and focuses all his strengths into his right fist. Meanwhile, Liam does the same. As Liam slowly makes his way towards the outcast, OutKast tries to pelt him with his fist; unfortunately for him, his muscles lock up at an inopportune moment, disallowing him to go on with his attack, and leaving him open for Liam to strike. The electric dragn weils loudly, slamming the psychic pokémon with his fist (10% – OutKast; 8% – Liam).

round three
The third round begins very similarly to the second. Liam, the ampharos, closes his eyes and conjures a wall of elemental energy, to serve as a "sponge" for certain types of attacks (5% – Liam). OutKast, sensing his chance, attempts to move forward, but alas, his movements are halted and his muscles refuse to allow him to take any steps, forward or back.

Liam smirks to himself, wandering over to his foe as he pounds his fists into one another in hopes to intimidate the foe. The drowzee, however, pays him no attention, opting to attack with his mind rather than his body this time. Without the restricting muscles to stop him, OutKast is free to manipulate any object he chooses, and he chooses the ampharos tail. Liam, feeling a slight discomfort (6% – Liam; 4% – OutKast), doesn't note that his own tail is being flung around his feet, causing him to trip over himself and hit the ground. This does not, however, deter him from his goal. The large dragon pounds absent-minded OutKast with his fist, albeit for lesser damage (4% – OutKast; 5% – Liam); OutKast's protective veil shatters into several pieces before fading into a distant nothingness.

Retreating to his safe spot, Liam begins to conjure an electrical current within his body; he begins to feel his power over lightning and thunder grow much stronger (4% – Liam), but he doesn't release it just yet. Meanwhile, OutKast has left the present and entered the future (8% – OutKast); when, exactly? Probably somewhere in the next round... more after this!

OutKast returns to the present with an oddly wild smirk upon his features. Don't ask why.

Ok Outkast, lets begin by using psychic to pull hard on Amphy's tail. Then, use metronome twice. If he tries a physical attack, grab him and throw him into the pond with seismic toss. If he uses an electric attack, use psychic to chuck him the pond so he shocks himself.

round four
As Liam dances around like a stereotype, OutKast closes his eyes and concentrates harshly on the thunder beast's flailing tail. As Liam continues to summon a trickling rainfall (5% – Liam), OutKast pays it no mind as he stretches out Liam's tail like a rubber band, causing the thunderous pokémon some distraught (5% – Liam; 4% – OutKast). The downpour becomes much more apparent.

Liam then begins to quickly conjure an electric spell within his veins. Upon seeing this, OutKast immediately recalls his previous orders and concentrates once more on the ampharos, focusing on his entire body rather than just his tail. As the electricity flows quickly through Liam's body, he is violently shoved towards the water. Unfortunately, for OutKast, the electric charge is quickly released before he hits the water. Carried by the several rain drops, the electric storm shoots through the air and crashes into OutKast, causing a great deal of pain (10% – OutKast; 8% – Liam).

OutKast sighs with a static charge flowing through his body. Weakly, he turns his gaze back to the ampharos whom was splashing around in the pond. His eyes closed, OutKast flails his index fingers left and right for a few moments before a surge of ice energy is shot forth (5% – OutKast). The rain droplets suddenly freeze before being hurled violently at the ampharos. He was unable to move, mainly because the pond was solidified as well. Liam merely squeals harshly, intimidating the drowzee enough to break him of his spell. The ice darts melt in thin air just seconds before connecting with the dragon. Liam, with a cold sweat, pulled himself out of the, now liquified, pond.

the results
Round nearly over, Liam pulls back safely until a rift in the present opens up with OutKast standing behind his foe with a baseball bat. OutKast smirks wildly before letting loose (8% – Liam). The rain continues to simper down for at least four more rounds.

The rain falls lightly on this garden-based arena, and neither pokémon seem to be apprehensive at all this round. Liam, the large dragon, closes his eyes as the safeguard veil strengthens around him (6% – Liam). The veil flickers away as the dragon then tenses his muscles and "beefs" up his own defenses (4% – Liam). Meanwhile, OutKast, the drowzee, had kept his mind at ease whilst his mental prowess grew to stunnging, yet dangerous, levels (5% – OutKast). Finally, Liam, who was still balled up, began to let electricity flow through his body for a mere few moments; the static flowing through his veins, Liam felt ready for another round (4% – Liam).

round six
The rain, brisk and brief, continues to dance down upon the two battlers in question. OutKast, with his mental prowess heavily hightened, begins the round by focusing telepathically on his foe's feet. Liam feels a slight tingling as his legs uncontrollably dart him forward (3% – Liam; 3% – OutKast). As the ampharos continues to charge forward, he puts all his weight towards his frontside, slamming into his adversary with a great deal of force (7% – OutKast; 4% – Liam). The energy strain was minimal, due to Liam himself not actually running. The ampharos then pounces down upon the drowzee, utilizing his strength. OutKast squirms and squirms to no avail as Liam's feet kick in the air quickly (3% – Liam; 5% – OutKast; 3% – OutKast; 4% – Liam).

As OutKast continues to struggle feebly against Liam's strength, the ampharos begins to charge up a massive electric attack. With no where to run, the drowzee can do nothing but succumb to the overhauled power of Liam's Zap Cannon (10% – OutKast; 7% – Liam).

An interesting turn of events; Liam was able to use his opponent's attacks against him. Ultimately, OutKast's paralysis grows stronger.

round seven
OutKast's paralysis gets stronger thus disallowing him to use a wide variety of attacks, no doubt. The psychic creature merely sits this round out almost, regaining his strength. Liam, however, decides to slow down his foe by releasing into the air a set of spores (3% – Liam). Unfortunately, for Liam, the rainfall manages to completely wash them away before causing any harm at all to the drowzee. Annoyed, Liam purges the remainder of his energy by summoning a thunderous energy; upon sight, Outkast immediately attempts to burrow through the ground, but with his muscles weak and body unwilling, he is unable to dig to a safe enough distance underground to avoid the shocking sensation (10% – OutKast; 7% – Liam).

the results
With Liam's energy befuddled, the large dragon creature collapses onto the arena floor, defeated. Though there is some solace to his demise in knowing that only he himself is capable of felling... himself...
