    Status: Paralyzed

    Sub: Stun Spore

Arena Status: Battle now takes place in a construction site. Many construction vehicles are around the arena

    *Battle*
The pokemon glare intesely at one another, eager to duke it out once more. As the trainers shout their commands, the 2 pokemon take no time getting right to it.

Firefly beats his wings rapidly, taking to the air and charging toward Weepinbell without hesitation. The grass type is building energy to cause a flash, but seeing the bug getting ever closer, she remembers her secondary order. She quickly opens her mouth, blowing out a puff of yellow powder toward the ever closing insect. Firefly grins and, stopping in midair, continues flapping his wings. The rapid movement kicks up a strong wind, and also releases silver particles from the pokemons wings, which become interlaced with the wind. As expected, the wind blows the light spores away with ease, guarding Firefly from the paralysis. The wind continues on, blowing around Triffid, who winces as the bug energy particles hurt her.

As she opens her eyes, she sees Firefly just a few feet away, in front of her. She glares at him, once more blowing out a cloud of dangerous spores. Volbeat chuckles and again vigorously beats his wings, kicking up a wind laced with silvery powder particles. As before, the wind blows the powder off course, sending it flying back at Triffid. Already under the effects of muscle loss, the powder has no relevent effect on her, but she does again get pelted by the silvery energy and lets out a muffled shriek.

By this point, Triffid has had just about enough of this powder tactic. She ignores how close Firefly is to her and focuses on her original order. Utilizing a strange power, she fires a translucent beam out of her eyes onto the ground. As if under the control of this beam, a stream of glowing earth emerges from the effected area, flying straight at Firefly. He lets out a suprised cry as the earth pelts him, sending him crashing into the ground. He stands and rubs his head, noticing that he is covered in dust and dirt. Not to be deterred, he flaps his wings one more time, sending a gust of bug-laced wind toward Triffid. She hunkers down and takes the attack, bug energy cutting through her.

As the round closes, Firefly lands on solid ground, resting his tired wings. As he does so, he groans as he feels the poison running through his vital systems. Triffid takes some comfort in this, but still quite annoyed at the bug at this point. Usually she eats bugs, instead of getting beat up by them

Nice work. We're fairly close, but I'll give you a round to attack on the ground.

Launch into a Swagger. Triffid's annoyed, and you're close-by, so even if she closes her eyes she should your verbal abuse. If she falls for the bait and attacks, nail her with an Ice Punch to the eyes. Then, push her away with Aerial Ace.

Encore the Swagger, then use all that pent up anger along with your status condition to deliver a massive Frustration + Facade combo.

    *Battle*
As the battle rapidly proceeds, the 2 trainers are as determined as ever to win. They shout their orders to the 2 pokemon, equally determined, and they nod in reply.

As Firefly turns back to his grass type opponent, he grins to himself. Intending to further annoy her, he turns around. He slaps his hand on his rear, at the same time using his other hand to pull on his lower eyelid, all the while making obscene noises (whee, anime taunting :p). Doing her best to ignore the annoyance long enough to carry out her attack, Triffid quickly starts clapping her leaves and cheering. Firefly stops, suprised at her behaviour.

But not for long. Once more taken by the applause, he begins Swaggering at the grass type even more than before. Becoming further enraged by the display, the flytrap gives in to her rage. She hops toward Firefly, utter anger in her eyes. Using every concievable part of her body, she slams the bug type ruthlessly and repeatedly. Volbeat winces and cries out, being battered by full body tackles, repeated leaf blows, and even a bite or two. The abuse seems never-ending, though finally Weepinbel calms down and stops her assault. She breathes a sigh of relief as Firefly falls to the ground, badly battered.

Not willing to take a beating like that lying down, Firefly stands up, wincing slightly. He jumps up, flapping his wings and taking to the air. Using blinding speed, he flies straight at Triffid, creating a stream of disturbance behind his body. He hits the flytrap, sending her flying backwards, right into a steam shovel. She shrieks as she hits the vehicle, falling to the ground shortly afterwards as Volbeat lands on the ground once more.

As he does so, the intensifying poison takes over once more, causing him to kneel over in pain. Triffid, still calm, grins on as the bug type continues to hold himself in agony. Firefly seems to be rapidly weakening as the round closes.

Lets try and hold out Triffid, if Volbeat comes close then Ice Punch, if it stays away Bullet Seed. If you feel like you're taking too much damage then Endure it the best you can.

Both pokemon appear to be tiring, and the trainers can sense that this might be the last round of battle. They shout their commands, hoping for a victory.

With a strategy in mind, Firefly grunts and takes to the sky, ignoring the pain he's experiencing. He flies toward Triffid, hoping she takes the bait. The grass type, seeing the bug getting close, focuses cold energy into her leaf. A chilly blue aura surrounds it. Firefly notices that his plan is working and quickly lands on the ground, taking up a counter position. A faint aura surrounds his body as Triffid jumps slightly forward and swings her leaf at the bug. She is interupted mid-swing by the protective aura around Firefly, and is sent tumbling backwards. Firefly winces, having blocked the brunt of the swing but not the ice energy. Triffid gets up and rubs her head with her leaf, not exactly sure what just happened.

Once more hoping that he can use the same strategy, Firefly runs toward the flytrap, not wanting to waste energy by flying. Triffid begins focusing ice into her leaf once more, as Volbeat stops in his tracks and focuses, creating another defensive barrier. Weepinbel again swings her leaf forward, hoping to smash Firefly and end this battle, but once again is interupted by the protective aura. She again falls backward as Volbeat winces, feeling the icy energy and a slight bit of the punch as well.

As his trainer commanded, Firefly relies on fate. He wiggles his fingers back and forth, back and forth, hoping for something to help him win this battle. As he stops the motion, his fingers glow, and.... a loud Roar is heard emanating from the bug type (aw, I was hoping for something that was fun to ref). Triffid begins to hop away from the loud noise, scared, but suddenly is stopped by the resurfacing paralysis. She falls on her face, twitching and unable to move.

As the round closes, Firefly once more cries out in pain from the poison coursing through his vains... and overcome, he falls to the ground, unconcious. Ace looks on, deciding which pokemon to bring out next to battle the nasty Weepinbell. As he does so, the ground begins once more to ripple, signalling a change in the scenery again in the coming round.

Actually, this was intended to be a three on three, but I don't mind stopping now. Once various reffings/battles get done, I'll have plenty of time to evolve my team. Thanks, RaZoR, for the battle, I learned a lot. And thanks to Elec Man for the quick, descriptive reffings. It was a good battle.

Of course, RaZoR, if you wanna going, it's fine with me.

    Oh, it is a 3 on 3, what'dya know.

If you wanna continue, I'll just remove the bit of reffing about the battle being over and such, easy enough to do.

For some reason I thought it was 2 v 2, how did I miss that

Edited the last one and re-started the arena cycle (which I had ended because I thought the battle was ending). Really sorry about the confusion about it being 3 vs 3, for some reason I had in my head that all the battles I was reffing were 2 v 2s.

    *Battle*
Ace pulls out a ball and recalls his fallen Volbeat, telling him he did a good job as he reaches for his third pokeball. A quick toss and it lands on the ground, opening to reveal a female Ponyta known as Tempest. She stamps her foot on the ground as the flames on her body flare up, ready for battle. He shouts his orders to his new combatant, as RL does the same for his battered pokemon.

Quickly taking advantage of her type superiority, Tempest glares at Triffid. She opens her mouth and exhales, blowing out a stream of hot fire toward the tiring grass type. Triffid lets out a high-pitched scream as the fire engulfs her body. As the flames dissipate, Triffid struggles to make a move. Trying to ignore the mounting pain, she whips her leaves forward, sending a multitude of small, multicolored leaves forward. They pelt the fire horse, and she winces briefly, but the attack as a whole isn't particularly painful to her.

Ready to end this, Tempest quickly blows out a second stream of red-hot flames. Again Triffid winces and cries out as the flames burn her vulnerable body. Overcome by the increasing batterings, she collapses under the fiery assault, no longer able to continue fighting.

As the flames end, the fallen flytrap becomes visible to all. RL smiles, knowing that his pokemon was up against overwhelming odds and happy with her performance. He considers what will be his third pokemon choice, as Tempest trots around the arena, glad to have defeated her first opponent. As the round closes, the familiar rippling of the air begins again... the construction zone fades out of view, and a loud engine sound is heard as the trainers and ref appear on a commercial plane in mid-flight. The passengers of said flight look consused as to how a couple of trainers and pokemon have just appeared in the middle of the plane. How will this effect the battle?

OK then lets finish this battle with Dusk, my genderless (but thinks itself male) Lunatone.

Lets start with a Cosmic Power, then try and send Ponyta to sleep with Hypnosis.

If she falls asleep: then drain her with Dream Eater

If not: Use yourself as part of Rock Slide and slam into her.

Tempest, spit up a Toxic. When it tries Hypnosis, close your eyes and use Swift. Finally, when it charges you, about-face and Iron Tail to send it reeling.

However, if you should fall asleep, use Sleep Talk.

    *Battle*
As RaZoR LeAf recalls his fallen Weepinbell, he reaches for a third pokeball. He quickly tosses it into the aisle, and it pops open to reveal a floating moon-shaped rock, named Dusk. It opens its red eyes and looks around, surveying the arena. The 2 trainers quickly shout their commands to their pokemon, who nod in reply.

Immedietly active and hoping to limit the damage it will take, Dusk starts glowing faintly, as if summoning energy from some unseen source. A strange energy starts sparkling around its body in a rainbow of colors, shielding him with said power for a time. While this is happening, Tempest begins building poison in her mouth from the limited poison in her body. Satisfied with the intensity, she quickly spits the poison at the floating moon, who is still concentrating on defense. The glob splatters a bit, luckily not hitting any passengers but rather the ground, and most splattering all over Dusk's body, sinking through cracks and holes into its core.

Finally finished with its defensive manuever, the moon rock is ready to turn its attention to the opponent. Its eyes start glowing as it emits waves of faint psychic energy. But Tempest quickly closes her eyes, making the sleep inducing attack useless... against her anyway. Most of the passengers are watching the battle now, and the psychic waves effect them, sending them into deep slumber. Keeping a mental picture of Lunatone's location, the fire horse opens her mouth, firing out a barrage of sharp star rays to that location. Luckily Dusk hasn't moved, concentrating more on the Hypnosis, and the rays score a direct hit. The hard rock body coupled with the mystic power greatly reduce the effectiveness of the attack, however.

Convinced the sleep attack is ended, Tempest opens her eyes. Indeed the attack is over, but Dusk has already begun the next attack. Using its own body for the attack, it hurtles through the air toward the fire type. Unlucky for her, the close quarters of the aisle prevent her from turning around fast enough to slam the rock type as it approaches, and she lets out a winey as the moon slams into her, sending her sliding backwards across the ground. Not to be deterred so easily, she hops forward while focusing steel energy, hardening her normally firey tail to a solid state. No longer crammed between 2 seats, rather in the portion between the 2 rows, she is able to rotate herself, allowing her to slam the Lunatone with her hardened appendage. The force sends Dusk flying backwards, crushing one of the video monitors in the process... good thing the passengers are asleep or they wouldn't be too happy.

As Dusk recovers from the blow, hovering back to face Tempest, she neighs. It seems that she is determined despite her type disadvantage. As the plane continues flying toward its destination, it would seem that it has become host to a fierce battle.

Okay, last Pokemon, might as well experiment.Luckily, most of his attacks have a chance of some splash damage..

He's a bit further away from you, so turn tail and head back a class (if we're in 1st class, move to 2nd class, for example) with Agility. The passengers are still awake there, so let's borrow them.

If he chooses not to follow after you, create four clones and Double Team+Charm to win the passengers over with your cute pony-ness. If they love you, then there's no way they'll stand by and let that moon hurt you.

If he does follow you, leap atop of him and grind him into the dirt with a Bounce+Double Kick combo. Break him up a bit.

Hmm, lets see. Dusk, use Psyche Up to copy the agility, and follow , but don't go all the way. Stay back and let her charm an audience. Then whip up a Sandstorm. There's no sand, I know. But there's plenty of magazines and trays to whip into a frenzy. Ponyta will be battered for sure, and it'll scare the hell out of the passengers. Then, give them a real shock, burst in and use yourself as Rock Slide again.

The new group of passengers look on as a fiery horse suddenly dashes into their section, confused. Using its psychic prowess, Lunatone probes the mind of the fire type, gaining a similar speed burst. The moon levitates quickly to the doorway to the next section but not quite inside, and hides behind the wall so it won't be seen.

Thinking that Dusk didn't follow, Ponyta closes her eyes, forming a couple of clones to her side. The trio quickly open their eyes and blink cutely toward the onlooking passengers, neighing cutely at the same time. They cry out "Awww" and smile toward her. Hearing the reaction of the passengers, Dusk's eyes glow. Using telekenisis it stirrs up a psychic wind in the class where Tempest currently is, whipping up all sorts of trash and magazines around the cabin. The crowds scream as the debris pelts everyone, including Tempest and her 2 clones, which promptly disappear into thin air. Dusk makes a sort of chuckling noise... until the air marshal comes up behind it and smacks it with his nightstick. He obviously didn't find it funny that Dusk was harrassing the passengers. Dusk stops the sandstorm to avoid further punishment.

As Tempest frowns at the loss of her adoring fans, now more scared than anything, and the loss of her clones, suddenly Dusk flies in, still utilizing increased speed. It once again uses itself, flying through the air and pelting Tempest, who falls to the ground and cries out. A few of the passengers notice, and one of them throws her soda all over the floating moon, apparently still thinking quite highly of Tempest. It grumbles and glares at the woman, though decides to ignore her for fear of being smacked with that nightstick again.

As the fire horse stands again, she looks at Dusk, who has his eyes clenched, apparently feeling some pain from the poison in his body. Neither pokemon notices at this time that the ground is rippling yet again, signaling a warp to a more favorable arena soon.

Damn, sorry Dusk, I forgot all about that guy. You'll recall we don't have them on UK flights, and those stewardesses were no match the last time we went flying. I suppose we could use Psychic to pop open a door and suck Ponyta oput, but I doubt it would be allowed. So we'll have to stick to rudementry attacking for now.

OK lets start with a Future Sight, so Tempest will come under fire later in the battle. Next a double Psychic to crush Tempest's mind.

Yeah, you could just as easily use Psychic to bash me into a couple of people this round, so thanks.

Nice work Tempest, that worked out in a way. Since he's so busy looking ahead, barrage him with Hypnosis. If it works, blast him along the aisle with a Solarbeam, then catch up with him and give him a headache with Double Kick.

If Hypnosis fails, use [b]Agility to duck behind the seats of the passengers at the end of the row. He won't dare fire at people again. Then, peek out and fire a Flamethrower- keep it high, so that splash damage isn't a factor.

Since I'm getting to a new arena "cycle" now, I got a question Ace... do the battlers have a chance of going back to the original boring brown arena, or only the 4 sub-arenas?

    *Battle*
As the trainers try their best to use moves to avoid hastling the passengers, they carefully pick their next attacks and shout them to their respective pokemon. The 2 nod in reply, noting the intension of being careful.

Tempest begins the round by utilizing a small bit of psychic power, eyes glowing as she sends waves of psionic energy throughout the plane. As before, the passengers watching the spectacle fall into a deep, psychic-enforced slumber. Lunatone, however, is busy with its own attack. It appears to be looking past everything, eyes glowing. It doesn't take too long for it to stop, however, and when it does Ponyta is still attempting to hypnotize the floating moon. Not particularly active, and overtaken by the psionic waves, Dusk slowly floats to the ground and closes its eyes. Tempest grins, though she has apparently lost her audience in the process.

Not wasting any time, the pony starts taking in sunlight for a powerful attack. Though inside and not exactly in a favorable position to gather the sunlight, she does eventually manage to gather enough light through the windows of the plane, able to take her time without threat from her opponent. Ready to attack, she braces herself and opens her mouth. Tempest emits a powerful white beam, slamming Dusk and sending it sliding across the ground down the aisle. Though the moon rock's previous protective measure absorbs some of the attack, there is still plenty of energy left to cause a stinging pain, which rouses it from sleep. The psychic type floats back into the air, a bit dazed from the abrupt awakening.

Taking the opportunity to continue attacking the dazed moon, Ponyta quickly dashes down the aisle, using her speed to quickly reach the Lunatone. Rearing up on her hind legs, she quickly strikes Dusk with both of her forlegs, sending the moon flying backwards a distance before regaining control of its levitation. Annoyed and well aware of what is going on now, Dusk's eyes begin to glow. Using its telekinetic prowess, the rock type sends out a blast of psychic energy, directly attacking Tempests mind. And as she struggles with the pain, the psionic blast that Dusk foresaw takes effect, a brilliant burst of pure, barely visible psychic energy which knocks the vulnerable Ponyta to the ground.

As she pulls herself to her feet, and Dusk once more groans as it feels the poison continuing to eat away at his innards, the air fazes with strange energy. Suddenly the sound of the snoring passengers and the jet itself are gone, replaced by relative silence. As the scenery fades back in, the 2 trainers see that they are once again in a construction zone. The dent from where Triffid hit the construction vehicle tells them its the very same one they were previously at.

No, the brown arena will not be used again.Nothing happens there. In the future, I'll add more sub-arenas, too.Still in development, you know.

Got lucky there, didn't know if Hypnosis would work. Create a small Substitute (8% health), then leap atop Lunatone with Bounce and nail it with an Iron Tail.

Ok Dusk, start off with an Earthquake, a tiny substitute like that will never hold up to such a shock, plus Tempest will be hit too. Then Double team, hah, I'd like to see Ponyta bounce onto the right version of you now! How about finishing with a REAL Sandstorm!? It's a construction site after all, the sand around these places is thhe real stuff, not the soft beach sand, it'll hurt like hell.. unless you're made of rock.. mwaha!

Arena Status: Battle is back to the construction zone

    *Battle*
Back at the construction zone, the 2 trainers continue their battle without delay, quite accustomed to the changes at this point. They issue their orders as the pokemon listen carefully.

Tempest starts the round off by focusing carefully. An orb of her own life energy peels away from her body to the space in front of her, and begins to take solid form. The energy forms into the shape of Tempest's own body, albeit much smaller and more doll-like than she is. Dusk doesn't appear impressed, and its eyes glow as telekinetic waves are sent into the ground, creating a quake of impressive magnitude in a cone in front of the floating moon. As the trainer expected, Tempest's substitute takes the attack and dissipates into the air, the attack destroying the bonds holding the energy together. Tempest, standing a few feet behind the subs location, also takes a hit from the traveling seismic wave, nearly falling to the ground from the force but managing to brace herself enough. The building under construction shakes a bit under the force of the attack, but its clear that it will take multiple attacks to cause the fairly sturdy contstruct to topple.

As the ground calms, Ponyta quickly goes on the offensive, hoping to catch her opponent unawares. She crouches and then leaps high into the air using her powerful legs. As she reaches the apex of her jump, Dusk quickly closes its eyes, focusing energy as a duo of clones fade into existance next to the moon rock. Tempest falls toward Dusk, increasing speed as she does. Hoping to crush the real Lunatone, she lets out a neigh as her hoofs come into contact with one of the rocks... and to her suprise, she feels a physical substance. The 2 crash into the ground, the real Dusk crushed under the fire type. Dusk has an astonished look on its face, apparently as suprised as Tempest that she hit the real one.

Tempest continues to stand on top of Dusk, hoping to keep the moon immobile so she can attack it again. She begins focusing steel energy into her tail, hardening the fiery substance into a solid and painful club. But Lunatone isn't particularly thrilled with the idea of idea of being smashed, and once more summons psionic power. Its eyes glow as a psychic force begins creating a strong wind of increasing intensity. This wind quickly gains strength, enough to where it begins picking up gravel and dirt from the surrounding ground. The debris quickly swirls around the arena, whipping across all surfaces including Tempest's body. She crys out and staggers backwards as the debris batters her body, causing both brusing and a few cuts. Dusk floats back to the air, freed from Tempest, but is suprised to see its body doubles gone... apparently the sand managed to take them out. The psychic type frowns, and suddenly gets slammed by Tempest's tail as she whips it forward, recovered from the intial shock of the storm and fighting the pain to attack.

As her tail returns to its normal fiery form, Tempest hunkers down, trying to block out the pain of the storm. Dusk also winces, not from the sand but from the poison circulating through his pores.

It'll be hard to focus on a Psychic when you've got so much sand in your eyes...even if he's stone, that's got to get annoying.

Use a Sunny Day to clear up the storm (I'm assuming weather moves cancel each other- the last thing I want is a sunny sandstorm) and brighten things up. Then, fire two Solarbeams to blast to blast Dusk away. With Sunny Day in effect, hopefully you can fire before he reaches you.

Personally I don't see why sunlight would stop a sandstorm, considering deserts have them all the time. But it's EXE's decision how he refs it.

Hail/Sunny Day/Rain Dance all cancel each other, of course. Rain Dance would probably cancel Sandstorm, because it would turn the sand to mud and make it too heavy to move with the wind. Hail would just intensify the storm, and I don't see how Sunny Day could possibly cause any difference one way or the other, unfortunately.

    *Battle*
The trainers struggle to see their pokemon through the raging sandstorm. They shout their commands very loudly, hoping their pokemon can hear them over the whipping wind.

Ignoring the sand, Dusk concentrates on its psychic powers. Not to attack, though. It uses them to "feel" out Ponyta's location in the storm. Tempest feels a bit of a probe at her by an unknown force, but doesn't think anything of it as she tries her best to drown out the pain from the sand. She closes her eyes, summoning the sunlight as a faint orange aura surrounds her body. High in the sky, the sunlight seemingly intensifies, though it doesn't have much effect on the battlefield at the moment because of the continuing sandstorm.

Still aware of Tempest's location, Dusk decides to use himself as a battering ram again. Using a telekinetic boost, the moon rock flies through the whipping sand toward the fire horse. Tempest, meanwhile, is gathering some light into her body, though the amount she can gather even with the intense sun is fairly limited due to the obstruction of the sand. As she gathers light, Dusk slams into her side, sending her sliding across the ground. She quickly turns around, wincing slightly but knowing this is her only chance to attack. Before Dusk can disappear back into the sand, she releases the light she's gathered, firing a white beam out of her mouth. It hits Dusk, sending the rock spinning backward. It quickly recovers, hovering still in the air. The winds of the storm begin to subside, the debris dropping back to the ground and revealing the hot sun and the 2 combatants.

Tempest breaths a sigh of relief, glad to be out of the painful sandstorm, and starts building up light yet again. This time much more efficiently. Not wasting any time and hoping to foil the painful attack, Dusk once again rushes toward Ponyta, powered by psychic power. Tempest opens her mouth, letting out a cry as she fires a much larger beam of light toward Lunatone, also hoping to stop the attack. Dusk winces as the beam strikes its rock body, but continues rushing toward Ponyta, using its momentum to continue the attack. The psychic rock slams into Tempest's head, sending her crashing to the ground and dissipating the light energy, but not before taking major damage itself.

Dusk weakly floats in the air, and once more feels the poison causing extreme pain inside of its body. Tempest lifts herself off the ground, shaking her head and looking toward her foe, determined.

You did very well Tempest, though a healthy amount of luck did have much to deal with it. Still, a cornered foe is the most dangerous one. Fire off a succession of Swift, and keep your eyes averted to protect from any Hypnosis waves.

OK Dusk, you've got the energy to pull this off, be strong!

Use Protect and hold it for as long as you can, whilst also using Earthquake. Just keep hammering the ground and keeping that shield up, for as long as you can manage. If you feel faint, then stop. I'd rather see you going out in battle than falling from self inflicted fatigue.

Here in the construction zone, its round 18, and both pokemon are looking quite hurt. The trainers frantically issue their commands to their weakening pokemon, who nod weakly in reply.

Trying to ignore the intense pain, Dusk focuses, quickly forming energy into a spheroid shell around its body. Tempest opens her mouth, firing a barrage of star rays toward the moon. The rays bounce harmlessly into the energy shield, having no effect despite the continous blasts.

Still determined, Ponyta quickly opens her mouth and neighs as she launches yet another barrage of stars toward the psychic moon. Dusk continues to hold the energy in the shield around his body, knowing that he's near his breaking point if he gets hit. As the yellow star rays slam into the shield, Dusk focuses carefully. Finally, the second attack ends, and Lunatone see's its chance. Dropping its shield, its eyes glow brightly as it hits the ground with a psychic blow. The blow causes a shockwave to shoot through the ground, shaking it vigorously. Tempest struggles, trying to keep herself on her feet, but is thrown off balance. She falls to the quaking ground, letting out a cry. As the quaking deminishes, the trainers eagerly watch to see what Tempest will do. She weakly lifts her head off the ground, letting out one final weak sound before her head falls.

It would seem that Dusk is the winner of this fight... until it also falls to the ground, unconcious. It seems that the poison took the remainder of its strength even as Tempest was defeated. Both trainers recall their fallen pokemon and face one another, glad to have fought such a good battle.

I'm not exactly sure how to handle this. I suppose "technically" RaZoR LeAf won, since Ponyta was the first to fall, but the poison makes it a double KO. And I don't know if the earlier withdrawals (Scyther and Kecleon) would factor in at all.

I'm going to post in the reffing tower and see what TML thinks, since I don't know for sure. Either way, this was quite an awesome battle to ref. Love the arena, and both trainers used some interesting strategies.

Ok, it seems that the general consencus from the reffing tower is that Tempest was KO'd first, even if Dusk did fall shortly afterwards.

Therefore, the winner of this battle is RaZoR LeAf. Congratulations, and again it was great reffing this battle.
