A little odd, yes. But it's fine.

Okay, James. Go ahead and send out another Flamethrower, followed up by Rock Slide. After that, replenish at least some energy with Relax.

Use a Quick Attack to dodge the flames, then Relax. Finally, pour your remaining energy into a strong Reversal. Your low health should power the attack up.

Actually, if Earthquake doesn't work anywhere but the entrance, will Rock Slide be any better?

A bit undecided on the effect of Rock Slide, but here goes:

    Hinata VS Ace64

    Round Eleven

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 100%
    Energy: 74%
    Status: Looking good, emerged
Attack Command: Flamethrower ~ Rock Slide ~ Relax

    Ace 64 Team

    Relic (M)
    HP: 25%
    Energy: 8%
    Status: Looking beaten
2% damage next round because of Acid
    Safeguard ends
    Attack +4
    Speed +2
    A bit intimidated
Attack Command: Quick Attack (to dodge)~ Relax ~ Reversal

    Background music: Iron Maiden-The Trooper

    Round Eleven ~ Begin!

James started off with yet another deep breathe. But as soon as the flames escaped from his mouth, Relic darted off with a sudden jolt that he was able to dodge the attack.

Following his trainer’s command, Relic’s tense body loosen, and he sat down and relaxed himself. James took advantage of Relic’s lax moment, and he began to dig the floor with his claws. Unfortunately, since the ring floor was made of canvas, the only “rocks” that he ended up in his claws were only a pile of sweat drenched, blood soaked pile of canvas. Giving a sly smile, James threw the pile towards the relaxing Relic right between his eyes, which surprisingly caused some damage to Relic (4% damage), much to the shock and annoyance of Relic.

It was now James turn to relax. Relic took advantage of this, and locking his claws around James’s neck, he threw James in a Suplex type of move. James winced as his heads hit the floor (10% damage), not only due to the impact, but also due to the cuts laid on his belly by Relic’s claws. Relic didn’t get up after the powerful Reversal. The ref went to check his condition, and confirmed that he was knocked out.

    End of Round Eleven

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 90%
    Energy: 72%
    Status: Painful belly

    Ace 64 Team

    Relic (M)
    HP: 0%
    Energy: 0%
Status: Knocked out due to no energy

Ace64 choose Pokemon and attack first
    Hinata attack second

    Arena Status:
Ropes on one side of the ring were cut off due to Ric’s Razor Leaf. Relic’s Hyper Beam vaporized another parts of ropes on another side. A hole was produced in the middle of the ring due to James’s dig. Newer but smaller holes are formed due to James’s Rock Slide.

    Other remarks:
Relic has made a good finisher. Now, it’s time for Ace64 to choose new Pokemon.
So, no complains for Relic being KO’ed, right?

    Please take it easy~

    None at all. Thanks, DT.

The obvious choice is clear, but I'll change things up. Go Fisticuffs! (M Tyrogue) Time to get some experience.

Let's try a Mega Kick. Concentrate on his belly. Follow up with a quick Mach Punch to the jaw before he can react. Finish with Seismic Toss.Get him back in the ring.

Alright, James. What you should do is use Rage twice. Don't take any degrading hits without being angered. Follow up with a use of Flamethrower to then show we mean business.

    Hinata VS Ace64

    Prebattle

Ace 64 recalled his Scyther that deserves a good rest after defending himself in the ring after all that round, and took out another PokeBall.

But wait! After a moment of considering about using his Wailmer, Big Bertha against James, he kept the PokeBall and took out the third PokeBall.

And there you have it; Fisticuffs, the Tyrogue. Well, other than being fair, maybe it’s for the good of Ace64. A big, fat Wailmer won’t fare too well in the ring…

    Stats:

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 90%
    Energy: 72%

    Ace 64 Team

    Fisticuffs (M)

    Energy: 100%
    Status: Ready to go!
Attack Command: Mega Kick (belly) ~ Mach Punch (jaw) ~ Seismic Toss

Sub: If James tries to hide with Dig, take the chance to Bulk Up

    Background music: Iron Maiden-The Trooper

    Round Twelve ~ Begin!

As James staggered to get on his knees, Fisticuffs went out between the ropes and make himself towards James. A kick to the mid-section! How very cheap, dealing damage to the injured belly! (8% damage). James eyes glowed red, and he delivered punch after punch of fury towards Fisticuffs, channelling all his negative feeling (6% damage).

1… 2… 3… just kidding! This ain’t a wrestling match. And if it was one, then it must have been a no holds barred match. You know, like the HBK VS McMahon we saw earlier… only without humans and weapons. </end intermission>

Fisticuffs ran away from James, but before James knew it, he received a punch on his jaw (6% damage). Angered, James once again delivered the punches, only this time bites and clawing was added in (8% damage).

Barely recovering from the frenzy of Rage, James fired a stream of flame towards Fisticuffs, dealing good damages (8% damage). But as soon as James mouth was clamped shut, Fisticuffs grabbed him around his waist. He spun James around in a 1080 degrees spin before throwing him back in the ring. Ow! Listen to the bone-shattering impact! (8% damage). Contented with James back in the ring, Fisticuffs picked himself back into the ring.

    End of Round Twelve

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 68%
    Energy: 58%
Status: Painful belly, jaw and back, angered
    Rage ++

    Ace 64 Team

    HP: 78%
    Energy: 86%

    Other remarks:
I was only *assuming* that the “obvious choice” would be Wailmer. Anyway, good wrestling round, eh?

Don't worry, James. We won't take squat from people like Orton...

I want you to go for another Rage since you're clearly angry. Follow up with an Ember, then go for a period of calming down and restoring energy with Relax.

Still so angry? Fist, Counter that rage, turn his power against him. Use Rapid Spin to shrug off that Ember and strike. Finally, in true wrestling fashion, climb onto the ropes or turnbuckle (whichever's closest to James) and use a flying Body Slam.

    Round Thirteen~ Begin!

Fuelled with anger due to the pain, James charged towards the smug Randy Orton-like posing Fisticuffs. Fisticuffs seem to be off guard… but no! It’s a counter! Fisticuffs countered James’s Rage! (6% damage to Fisticuffs, 8% damage to James).

James quickly got over the shock of the counter and fired a short range wave of Ember, but much to his dismay, Fisticuffs deflected the attack with a Rapid Spin. Ow, James was blown back due to the spinning of Rapid Spin. (4% damage)

James then rests himself against the ropes to regain his lost energy, calming himself as well. Fisticuffs then climbed on the turnbuckle, seemingly unexpected by James. What the heck is he trying to do?

Ooh! Body Slam! Now that must have been damaging! (7% damage to James). Nevertheless, Fisticuffs also suffered some minor stomach cramp.

    Round Fourteen~ Begin!

Both Pokemon staggered after the attack; James from the pain of the impact, while Fisticuffs suffered from the recoil of his own attack. But he’s not going to about to go down easily. He took a deep breath, and flexed his arms. One would think that he was showing off his muscle, but the action actually increased his strength and defence.

Apparently, James was not entertained. He unleashed a blast of Flamethrower towards Fisticuffs, scorching the little fighter upon contact (8% damage).

Fisticuffs wasn’t too happy at the attack. He quickly went and delivered a Brick Break, but missed badly like a Clothline from Randy Orton to Rey Musterio as James had dug (or rather jumped) his way down the ring. Both Fisticuffs and his trainer cursed at James for hiding down the ring.

They waited, and waited… until the round end with no attack. It was then that James rose up from the hole, inviting angry look from both Fisticuffs and Ace64.

Still angered, James rushed towards Fisticuffs and clawed him. (4% damage) Fisticuffs countered with a Seismic Toss, sending James skidding towards the stands. (8% damage) Ouch, things weren’t looking too good for James.

Sorry DT. My exams just finished too.

Fist, follow up after him. These stands must have some seats for people to watch the action, so grab a few and hurl them at James in a furniture slide attack (Rock Slide) Use Mach Punch to stay ready for James' next attack, then hit him with a Hi Jump Kick.

Attack Command: Furniture Slide (Rock Slide) ~ Mach Punch ~ Hi Jump Kick

    Background music: Iron Maiden-The Trooper

    Round Sixteen~ Begin!

Working on the chairs and announcer’s table, Fisticuffs used the item for a Rock Slide, or more appropriately called “Furniture Slide” attack. (8% damage) The angered James reacted with a Rage attack, powered with the anger from Fisticuffs’s Swagger (8% damage).

Still angered, James gave another Rage, (8% damage) while Fisticuff gave him a Mach Punch. (6% damage)

Finally, Fisticuffs ended with a Hi Jump Kick, doing high damage to James, (8% damage) but the attack had left his ankle in pain due to the force of the impact. James slowly hoisted himself towards the ropes, and took a rest, indulging himself in a trance of healing. And thus, the healing process began…

    End of Round Sixteen

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 33%
    Energy: 33%
Status: Calmed down, in healing trance (sleeping)
Rest last for 4 more turn

    Ace 64 Team

    Fisticuffs (M)

    Energy: 46%
    Status: Satisfied, painful ankle
    Attack +1
    Defence +1

    Hinata attack first
    Ace64 attack second

    Arena Status:
Ropes on one side of the ring were cut off due to Ric’s Razor Leaf. Relic’s Hyper Beam vaporized another parts of ropes on another side. A hole was produced in the middle of the ring due to James’s dig. Newer but smaller holes are formed due to James’s Rock Slide.

    Other remarks:
Okay, a bit more info on what I interpreted on Rest:
Rest last for 5 turns (attacking turn, not round), and the HP and energy increase are 10% and 5% per turn, 0% if Sleep Talk or Snore is used).
Okay, let me know if you think that I’m doing it wrong. (Actually, I don’t like the idea of 100% HP increase per usage…)
And that is why some people dislike Rest…

    Please take it easy~

Okay, James. Take most of the round to relax, then use Sleep Talk to slide some damage in.

    Sigh...how annoying...time for environment usage.

Since Earthquake applies to everywhere but the entrance platform, that's just where we'll go. Use your Strength to drag James over to the entrance platform, then strike with two super-effective Earthquakes.Use your good foot. Let's hope that rumbling wakes him up!

    Round Seventeen~ Begin!

Still in resting mode, James relaxed himself, further increasing his healing rate. At the same time, Fisticuffs grabbed James, and using a Strength attack, he dragged James all the way towards the entrance platform.

James, who was still in the trance, twitched as Fisticuffs lifted his good, uninjured foot up and struck it down the floor. The ground shook, and debris of steel and wood rained down towards James. The Earthquake intensity was very high, that James was dragged down the cracks that formed on the floor, and he received high damage due to type weakness. (14% damage)

And for the second Earthquake… before Fisticuffs could launch the attack, James teeth snapped, and still in the healing trance, James sunk his teeth into Fisticuffs’s good leg. (4% damage) Fisticuffs screamed, before his feet struck the floor. The attack was launched, but the attack intensity was lowered below the normal damage as James was still attached to his leg. (10% damage) At the end of the round, James grip was released from Fisticuffs, leaving the Tyrogue to tend to his ankle wound.

    End of Round Seventeen

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 29%
    Energy: 45%

Hack out a Toxic right into his snoring mouth. Then, relax. Finish with a Dizzy Punch to confuse him.

Nearing to the end of Rest, James continued to relax. Fisticuffs took advantage and went closer to James and gave a shot of Toxic right towards his mouth.

Ugh! That’s not very pleasant! Satisfied, Fisticuffs lay down and relaxed. Unfortunately for him, James had already waked up. Rubbing the foul taste of Toxic from his mouth, he then launched a Flamethrower attack towards Fisticuffs. (8% damage)

After taking the punishing attack, Fisticuffs got up and went for a Dizzy Punch. But before he could get any closer to James, he was surrounded by a Fire Spin attack from James. (4% damage) James sighed and sat down, desperately trying to flush the burning sensation from his mouth.

DT, do you ref Toxic as increasing damage, or do you plan to make it have the same effect as that Acid on my Scyther from a while back? Just curious.

It's not out of our hands yet, buddy. The ground should be soft after those Earthquakes, so ignore the fire and Dig straight down. The Fire Blast will clear away the Fire Spin, so come up after it passes by and try another Earthquake. Finally, relax.

He fumed, and launched an Earthquake attack, but due to his hurt legs, the damage was slightly lower than it should be (12% damage).

Both Pokemon relaxed, but before the round ends, James felt the stinging effect of Toxic seeping through his body (2% damage).

    Very quick. Wow!

You've done well, Fist. One way or the other, this will end very soon...Catch your second wind.

Mach Punch, either to attack or dodge, depending on what James does. Then, two Earthquakes. I know it hurts, but try your hardest. This match could be over right here.

    Alright, it's time for...

    Hinata VS Ace64

    Round Twenty

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 25%
    Energy: 38%
Status: Shook up by Earthquake, poisoned
Will receive 4% damage next turn
Attack Command: Flamethrower ~ Flamethrower ~ Leer

    Fisticuffs (M)
    HP: 17%
    Energy: 16%
    Status: Tense
    Attack +1
    Defence +1
Attack Command: Mach Punch ~ Earthquake ~ Earthquake

Background music: The Trooper: Iron Maiden

    Round Twenty~ Begin!

This is going to be one wicked round with an unpredictable result…

James used a Flamethrower, but Fisticuffs simply dodged the attack with a Mach Punch and hit him right on his face (3% damage). Fisticuffs then leapt up and gave James an Earthquake (12% damage), while James had managed to score a Flamethrower at Fisticuffs (8% damage).

And in the last action… Fisticuffs moved for another Earthquake. But just as he was about to launch the killing blow, James had used Leer on him. A bit startled, Fisticuffs missed his aim, and thus, his Earthquake attack was not precise and does not hit James within its precise seismic line (8% damage). Exhausted after the final attack, Fisticuffs fell over, having his energy completely drained.

Exhausted, James plumped down, before the effect of Toxic finally caught up with him. He was also knocked out due to his low HP. But wait! Then who would be the winner?

    End of Round Twenty

    Stats:

    Hinata Team

    James (M)
    HP: 0%
    Energy: 0%
    Status: Knocked out

    Ace 64 Team

    Fisticuffs (M)
    HP: 0%
    Energy: 0%
    Status: Knocked out

    Arena Status:
    Even more cracks and fire!

Now, we know both Pokemon are knocked out, but since Fisticuffs who was the first one to be knocked out due to the energy, it is declared that the match goes to Hinata! Whew, what a close call!

    The points that are received:
    Hinata: 4 points
    Ace64: 2 points
    darktyranitar: 4 points

It has been a good match, and man what a wicked ride! Before I go, I would like to apologise for any mistake that I did in the reffing, and perhaps some delayed moment in the reffing.

Anyway, it was quite an interesting choice of arena, Hinata. Let us continue our match at the PADS arena!

Until then, I’ll be going to the bank. See you guys later!
