For centuries humans have been trying to uncover the mysteries surrounding all Pokemon. As humans delve into studies of every science known to man, they make numerous discoveries both horrifying and amazing; yet it was never enough! Soon they crossed lines that they weren’t ever meant to cross by man. Soon a select few of men were entranced by the unknown practice of alchemy. They wanted to control the genetic makeup of all Pokemon. It wasn’t long before they started to make strides in their work, and eventually succeeded.

What was their reason for doing this? Personal gain seems to be the answer, yet to tell the truth only they know.

The first Pokemon Chimera was created in a Celadon City lab and was unsuccessful and horrible. It was in constant pain and hunger, it’s hellish cries heard day and night. Three of the staff on the team were mutilated and devoured before it, the creature itself was destroyed by it’s creators. This, however, did not deter their lust to create a Chimera. They kept trying until they made the first successful Chimera, an intelligent talking Zangoose/Kecleon hybrid. Unfortunately, this took something that was extremely immoral: the mixing of Pokemon with human DNA. This Chimera at first did not know anything of his past life but was aware that he was not always what he was. One night he escaped from his cage into the wild. He was assumed dead as he was not raised to survive in the wild, and knew non of the ways of wild Pokemon.

Other Chimeras followed, some deemed more advanced than the previous bunch. Some are Pokemon; others are Pokemon mixed with humans. All are considered outcasts and freaks. But someone will show them that there is a life and freedom outside the cages and stonewalls. Maybe there is even a way to return them to their previous forms. A living Philosopher’s Stone hidden in Hoenn holds the key to what they all seek, if it can be found…

Okay, there it is. You are a Chimera or a trainer living in Celadon City. I’m allowing…ten spots for you. I would like at least three trainers so that leaves a maximum of seven Chimeras other than the one I'll be RP'ing as If the spots are filled and you would like to be a trainer or a Chimera, PM me with your signup so we can work things out. I haven’t had success with my Pokemon: Crystal Storm RPGs but that was my fault. Now there is no major obstacle holding me back!

Gender: Male (yeah, I'm doing a male)
Appearance: He looks like your typical Zangoose. But because of the Kecleon DNA in him he can blend into his surroundings like a Kecleon but cannot hide his orange patterns. He also has deep blue eyes, making him almost look human.
Personality: Leo likes being a brooding loner. Sometimes he'll spend hours just pondering over the mysteries of his life. He's silent and maybe even shy but when something has to be said he'll say it. He's courteous and kind when he needs to be but the wild has made him hard and cold most of the time. He looks forward to when the alchemists are taken down and the experiments are released.
Other: This is the prototype that escaped. He keeps dreaming of a little human girl with a Teddiursa that may have been his daughter when he was living a human life.

Appearance: She stands at 5'1 and is rather thin and pale. Her hair is a chocolate brown and lies straight down at her shoulders and her eyes are a mix of blue, gray and green. She wears a dark green shirt with a lighter green shirt connected underneath - they're sewn to be the same but the lighter green sleeves are longer than the dark green sleeves (basically, you see the dark green shirt but with the light green sleeves popping out). She also wears black jeans, black socks and sneakers
Personality: She's quiet but brightens up when in a group. She's not the leader type but will take the reigns when it looks like no one will. She also has a bit of a temper when she gets angry
Other: Drake (male Charizard), Aries (male Umbreon), Locke (male Golduck)

Age: Adult (was 19 when changed, now 23)
Gender: Male
Appearance: He is a combo of a Rapidash and Flygon. The front half is a Rapidash, except his flames are bright emerald green colours, and his fur is pure white, not the cream of normal Rapidash's. His horn is a good deal longer as well, slightly green and crystal like as you can slightly see through it. The back half is like a Flygon, but his back legs are less bulky then a normal Flygon's and longer so his body is balanced properly. He also has claws on them like the ones that are usually on the front arms of a Flygon. He also has the Flygon wings. They have been made larger and are slightly more bat like in that they attach from his withers down to mid-back.
Personality: He has gotten to be very quiet and not much up to fighting. His spirit has been basically broken and he does whatever the scientists tell him to do. They can lead him around their complex with a hand on his neck and he will meekly follow. They can saddle him and ride him around, whether in the ground or in the air and he will not buck them off, simply obey. He is not frightened of them he is just, tired. Tired of fighting, tired of living basically. He is someone you would call an 'old soul'. He was angry but now he pities them for what they have lowered themselves to doing. He is very kind and loyal to all Chimera's, and willing to 'lend a wing' to cry on. He is very trustworthy and everyone knows they can tell him anything and he will not speak of it to another soul. When in battle, he is ferocious, a 'throwback' to his old days.
Other: He remembers almost everything about his past life, including that he had a Flygon and Rapidash. He hopes that they did not give their lives to make him the creature he is now, but deep down he knows the truth. He was one of the first of the humans to be switched into a Chimera, and remembers Leo. Before this happened he was a very outgoing happy person, friend to all. He does not remember much of the switching but he does remember waking up to find himself some strange hybrid of his old friends. He was very violent and extremely angry in the beginning, fighting any of the scientists that came near him. Much of the time he was heavily sedated, and when they had to do something to him, they beat him into submission. They would stick him in his cell out without food or water, whip him, and battle him until he lost. Anything. Finally one day he just quit fighting, he gave up and became the person he is now, the calmest Chimera on the presences. The only time they have to have a lead on him is when no one is on him, and there is open sky above him. Then he needs four strong men, or he will fly away. Mostly though they just stick a person on him and he won't fly off under open sky.

Name: Dante

Age: Adult

Gender: Male (So many male characters. XD But they're so much fun to play!)

Appearance: A combination Ninetales/Houndoom. He resembles a Ninetales in body, however he has the horns and the exterior bone-like structures/markings of a Houndoom. His coat is a deep black that seems to absorb all light and color, preventing it from ever having lighter highlights. The tips of his tails are colored red, as well as the tips of the fringe-like fur tufts on his forehead. His eyes are a deep, dark, chocolate brown that seem to convey an odd sort of mischevious intelligence and wit.

Personality: Despite the harsh life he has found himself living since becoming a chimera, Dante has managed to make do with it as best he can... Mostly to avoid being abused by his captors, because he's something of coward. Ever since the beginning of his life, he has submitted to the scientists, much to the chagrin of his fellow chimeras, considering most of them have fought tooth and nail until they can't fight anymore. Because of this, Dante has more spirit than most give him credit for, but he prefers not to show it. Passive-aggressive would be a good word to describe him. He takes everything in stride, but the build-up of anger within him after all that's happened to him and others like him has left him a little bit hollow inside (but still with a spark of life to keep him going), because he has no way of venting that anger. All he can do is follow orders and allow the scientists to experiment on him. Despite it all, however, he is actually rather good-natured on the outset, trying his best to get along with everyone he meets. There's a certain undeniable charm about him that makes him easy to get along with once one gets to know him, and comes to understand that he only does what he's told out of an obvious lack of courage. Despite his lack of a spine, however, he has aspirations to regain a sense of honor and dignity any way he can at some point, which many have come to respect him for.

Other: He can hardly remember anything about his past life, except that he believes at some point something happened to him that made him the coward he is today. The only memory that he can see clearly in his mind is that of a beautiful young woman with golden hair and blue eyes, singing softly. He's not certain of what his relationship with her was, but he knows she was very dear to him and he has high hopes of one day finding her and seeing her again.

A pre-newbie on RPG... here goes!

Gender: Male
Appearance: He stands at 5’4’’, with lithe build and slightly rough skin. His hair, which is dark brown and close to black, are quite thick and reach at the back of his neck and stop at his shoulder level. His eyes are a shade of dark brown, the same colour of his hair. He wears a black sleeveless shirt, coupled with a black leather jacket. He also wears thick, beige coloured cargo pants, which seem to clash with his upper body cloth, and grey socks and sneaker.
Personality: Usually keeps a quiet appearance, but he is quite friendly. He can sometimes appear moody, and occasionally he went for a mood swing from okay to a hot tempered and impatient person. Quite a fanatic of bodybuilding, and he will occasionally take off his jacket and shamelessly pose his arms (which were not so beefed up anyway).
Other: Slash (male Zangoose), Kanna (Female Jumpluff), Hercules (male Heracross)

P/S: Is it possible to get another sign up for a Chimera? And does the trainer have any connection with the chimeras?

darktyranitar: Accepted. You can also do a Chimera if you'd like since the sign-up are coming in a bit slow. The trainers will be there because 1) they're fascinated by them or afraid that they would become out of check if left to roam free by themselves and/or 2) because they want to help them. You can make up other connections (guess I forgot that mention that part). It's ultimately your choice of how you connect to the Chimeras.

Appearance: She looks like a normal Teddiursa, yet with the Pikachu DNA blended in, the Crescent Moon on her forehead is yellow. This allows her to use Electric attacks and be almost immune to Electricity. She also has big blue eyes that give off an aura of innocence.
Personality: She’s very curious about her surroundings, she can be a very very cheerful person, but some times realizes she is missing something in her life.
Other: She is Leo’s daughter; she remembers some images of her father, and how she thought her father abandoned her. She snuck out one night to try and find him when she got captured.

I had some free time, so I went for a creation of chimera.

Name: Selena
Chimera or Trainer: Chimera
Age: Teen
Gender: Female
Appearance: A combination of Absol/Venusaur. She has the feature of a normal Absol, except that her skin, including her tail blade and head blade, is leaf green in colour. In truth, half of her body cells are mutated to chlorophyll, explaining the colour of the skin. This allows her to use some of the Grass attack, except for the likes of Razor Leaf, Magical Leaf, and Vine Whip. The edge of her furs is tainted with green, creating a green outline around her body. Strangely enough, her eyes shone with wild, crimson hue, which is contrary to her skin colour.
Personality: She hides her emotions behind fierce and aggressive actions, but she is actually quite tender and emotionally fragile. She have undergone for a change in her personality from cheerful to emotionally weak once she reached her adolescence, when she discovered that she was no more than a human experiment. Often, she would hide herself in the darkest corner of her captivity lab after undergoing series of harsh experiment from the scientist, silently crying to herself. She usually hides her inner hurt from other chimeras and humans, but she is quite kind to other chimeras.
Other: She sometimes wonder if she is a Pokemon or a human in the past. She keeps dreaming of looking at a reflection of a little girl with an Absol beside her. Since she is partly plant, she is sometimes treated as one by the scientist. She is usually feed with only water and plant nutrition, which she got used to because it is practise ever since she was a child. Occasionally, she would be given meat, a rare treat that she always look forward to. The only chimera that she trusts to tell all her inner hurts is Leo. She eventually went and follows Leo and other chimera’s plan- to escape from the lab that contained them.

Chimera or Trainer: Chimera
Age: Senior (55-ish)
Gender: Male
Appearance: A mix of Ursaring and Mawile. An Ursaring's head, torso, and arms are intact, strong and solid; fused on are a Mawile's mouth, a long, menacing set of teeth that usually lies on his abdomen, and the skirt-like bottom, making Chen slightly shorter than an average Ursaring. Due to Khen's age, his fur, which covers his body, is more of a beige than a brown, his ring more cream than gold; his hair is shaggier than would be normal, and a sort of beard has developed under his snout; and there are several deep but stable scars on his snout.
Personality: Chen is prone to contemplation followed by spurts of action. He follows a select formula of thinking before he acts. Chen tries to stay on everyone's good side, but is more concerned about doing the right thing. He is sometimes almost absent-minded due to his thinking, but will stay focused if his thoughts and actions have the same target.
Other: Chen cannot talk; however, he retains the ability to read and write (he's left-handed). He remembers very little about his past, having only small bits and pieces of memory; these pertain to his childhood and his reconstruction as a chimera.

Name: Aysu
Chimera or Trainer: Chimera (Teenager)
Gender: Female
Appearance: She is a combo of a Dratini and a Magickarp. Her overall body is of a Dratini, including the colour. The different parts are she has a Magikarp's tail, whiskers, flippers and the two crests on both her belly and her back. For this reason she is kept in water all the time, because she can't move to well on land with the crest. The whiskers and crests are the gold colour of a regular Magikarp, but her tail and flippers are the same colour as her Dratini body. She also had blood red eyes, which seem to hold an underlying ferocity that she is to weak to show in her current form.
Personality: She is generally quiet and avoids all contact with other Chimera's. Not that she has much in her tank. If you can break through her protective outer shell she is friendly enough, but still soft spoken and tends to listen more then speak. She has a deep-seated fear that if she evolves she will become a rampaging monster. She can feel the anger deep within her that she has never shown, as she is too meek, and cowardly. She is angry at the scientists at what they have done, and because she has never expressed it, it is like a soda bottle that is routinely shaken. This fear is what has made her so timid as she does not want to hurt anyone.
Other: She is not sure if she was a Dratini living in a lake in a deep forest, or was a girl who lived in the small village beside it. She can remember both of swimming in the Lake and exploring the forests so she can't be sure which she is. She only vaguely recalls being taken and then waking up in her current tank, weak, with a small anger at her captors. She can feel the burning anger in her growing every time the scientist are cruel to her. She quite realizes this anger is what causes a Magikarp to evolve, because they want revenge. She has over heard the scientist saying they combined the two species because they hoped the Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite part of the mix would control the veracity of the Gyarados. Making a very powerful, but controllable Pokémon. She isn't sure this is going to happen and she has withdrawn more into herself as she feels the violence growing in her. They battle her routinely, hoping for the evolution to prove or, well, let's say they have numerous sedation guns around her in every battle she competes in these days.

Age: Teenager

Gender: Male

Appearance: Flygon/Aron, Sensatsu looks like your run of the mill Flygon except that his body is encased in steel armour plating like an Aron. Because of this he is not strong enough to fly because the steel is too heavy but can glide over short distances, he can also perform most steel attacks. His head is also encased by steel though his eyes shine out a bright green, giving him a human innocence.

Personality: Sensatsu is conservative type, he doesn't know his own strength and how powerful he really is. He doesn't like to fight but if you provoke him enough he will lash back. He is also very kind hearted and willing to help people in trouble.
