Default Gamecube Game Release Date Confirmed

From Corocoro, the new Gamecube Pokemon related game, if you could call it a game, is known as Pokemon Box. It will be released on 30th May in Japan. From the name and the descriptions, I don't think it's any R/S stadium but rather a useless package that allows you to store up to 1500 pokemons in the system (R/S can store up to 520 I think) and let you show off on some screens or whatever. It has no words on getting the unobtainables but I think it would feature this otherwise nobody would really buy this considering its gameless feature so far.

I hope the next Corocoro would reveal more attractive features of this game otherwise I don't think it will sell well.

Any mention on price? That doesn't sound like a good game from the way you said it ;o.

Sweetness. It better be able to transfer old Pokemon... Or else. I just hope this makes it to the US.

Nintendo said they wanted to keep all the old pokemon rare, that would make them waaay to easy to get. And isnt there too many differences with the pokemon on r/s than there was on g/s/c?
im not too sure how that works but i dont think it could be done..

and still they did say that there would be two pokemon games, maybe the next one will be something..decent

The game costs 2000-2800 yen as stated in the book. That's about 16-23 US dollar I think?
    Doesn't feel so worthy there.

    2,000.00 - 2,800.00 JPY

    16.5975 - 23.2365 USD

    27.4248 - 38.3948 AUD

Thats an incredibly low price for a GameCube game. Don't expect too much.

There better be a more attractive feature than to just store pokemon. I wouldn't buy a game just to store pokemon. That's a waste of money. So, I'm guessing this game will have more than just storage.

well for one thing, i have no idea what you meant. But if you needed the EON ticket to do anything in the game, it would suck.
especially if it's only gonna be boxes ;x

The eon ticket allows you to get the latios/latias that isn't in your game.

    Big let down

however, it probably is a way to get the obtainables
since the software btwn GBC and GBA differs Inserting all your old pokemon into a storage system and pulling them out on your Ru/Sa games make sense

-confirms other Pokemon Game Cube New Reports

    - New game would be cheaper than Ru/Sa

-You would need Ru/Sa to use it

-Nintendo is developing more than one Game Cube game

It is retarded to allow everyone access to the EON ticket? You mean actually allow everyone access to it for $20 instead of having to locate and travel cross country or into another country to get an EON ticket? Well, based on that stellar arguement I have to agree.

heh, you actually think their gonna give you the ticket when they know there's people who WILL travel accross countries to get one?

How much does it cost to use a "Catch Em' All Machine"? I've never been to the Pokecenter, but I don't think it costs anything, if it does, I'm sure it's under $20. Nintendo doesn't make money off of Plane Tickets, or gas sells. SO if they had a way to get the Eon Ticket to the masses, make them buy a Gamecube if they don't have it already, bu the link-up cable for the GBA to GCN stuff, then go and buy the Pokemon game for Gamcube, which would mean people would also buy Wind Waker, and Metorid Prime, and Mario Sunshine, etc. etc., I think they'd do it. But, that's just a thought.

Well I would get it if it showed pokemon in 3-d, form. Or if it was like a pokedex, where you could see the pokemon and their attacks. DOing so muchh you could get the eon ticket/
