Considering the movepools I would say Kkan. It's a bit larger so it has more options for countering

Although it will depend on how it is used. Kkan mainly goes up close while Slowbro can try to keep it at a distance with his psychic blasts.

KKhan. I've beaten Slowbro with a Lickitung and KKhans movepool is similar if not better. KKhans weakness lies in its normal type - it's weak to fighting attacks some of which Bro has. But if Bro wants to execute them it has to get close to Kkhan. Cue thunderbolt/thunder to keep Bro at bay.

But I'd like to see Bro win. Nothing like overthrowing the odds!

IMO a pokémon vs pokémon discussion is useless since it all depends on how you use your pokémon and how well you can counter your opponent. IMO a cleffa would be able to bring down (gonna get beated up for this) Kkan

Dude, that Electabuzz evolution looks sweet. Sure, it's a bit bulky, but Electabuzz always had agility to spare anyway. The first thing I thought of is that it would be an Electric/Dark type, which would be awesome.

Chris don't forget that there were restrictions in that match. You could only use Damaging moves. I couldn't use Toxic, Yawn, Teleport, and a whole lot of which I could have avoided running into various Thunder attacks.

I have beaten Khan with my Bro even with it using Thunder, Thunderbolt and even Shock Wave to counter my flipflop Double-team attack. Bro is my one of my favorites and my most used ASB pokemon, just as Khan is one of DD's favo's. Interesting indeed.

EDIT: Dunsparce is awesome. I tried one back in Crystal. It's like a giant hoverboard. It's movepool is also awesome. Good pokemon. Probably going to buy one.

I think Appa looks like Snorlax...but the largest thing in the air that you can get in ASB would be...Gyarados...I think Scyther is appropriate for Sokka, lol...I would also suggest Dragonite at Aang, as it can master earth, fire, flying, and water attacks

Of course. I have a red furred Ariados and I had a White furred Piloswine (now TBA's). Wolfsong has a Houndoom with white spots.

MLG, I propose a new, different kind of match...when we both get an open slot of course...

3 pokemon each, 1 at a time, but in a format where each pokemon can only fight 1 foe, like say your noctowl Vs. my ponyta, say your noctowl wins, I send out my second pokemon, as do you, noctowl is done, and the winner is the one who wins 2 out of 3, or for argument sake, 3 out of three of the matches... Of course, it will be Slowbro Vs. KKahn as the last match, and we PM our other 2 choices to the ref...coin flip to see who attacks first in the first round, then alternate as usual...Arena changes, due to pokemon's needs, like say goldeen, or horsea are sent out, a lake appears, large enough to sustain their movement and keep them useful...or...we could just agree on who Vs. who...

Dan or Chris can prove me wrong, but i believe winner gets 6Pts, loser gets 3...

New development for Diamond and Pearl, although they are still rumours

Well the official site has again revealed more stuff. However none of this is completely set in stone:

*The starting Pokémon may be of the Fighting/Dark/Psychic types
*The region, Shinou, has an underground world
*Roselia may be given an evolution
*Attacks will be made Physical or Special based on the actual attacks. Attacks like ThunderPunch will become Physical Attacks whereas Hyper Beam becomes a Special Attack. This highly changes the battling metagame and may make some Pokémon weaker than before and some even stronger.

As said, since the game is in development it is possible that this changes but at this stage in development, it is likely that the changes will stay

Also, I wanna see the new Legendaries - there is a serious shortage of Dark, Bug, Fighting, Ghost, Poison, and Normal Legendaries today. That new Space Legendary may be Dark, but that's about it... Bummer.

We do NOT have a twice evolving pure Dark type...

Cacturne- not pure Dark type, evolves from Grass type
Carvanha- not pure again...evolves into half dark type
Crawdaunt- not pure again, evolves from water type
Houndoom- not pure, evolves from part dark type
Mightyena- pure dark, evolves from pure dark...finally
Murkrow- not pure, no evos
Nuzleaf- not pure, does have second stage, but also not pure, and evolves from grass type
Sableye- Ahh, ghost/Dark, beautiful, needs an evolution...
Sneasel- not pure, evo will also not be pure...
TTar- not pure dark, 2 stage, but evolves from rock/ground...
Umbreon- ahh, the all pure again, but evolves from normal type, and no evo after
