Default Silencer vs Crystal Tears (ref:River)

This is an open challange. You or the ref makes the rules although I'd prefer not to go over 3on3

And Dark Sage, if you are reading this, I will not except you as an opponent. No offence but I'd like to fight as much different people as possible so I can learn.

[color=orange][font=sylfaen] I reffed for you last time, but this time, lets battle.

    3 on 3
Banned moves: Toxic, Recovery moves that deal no damage, Sub, Rest, and Cheap Moves (Destiny Bond, Grudge, Perish Song)

    Arena

    Desert Platue
Rock ground for the most part, has a few dead trees here and there, and has a couple of sandy patches, and a small creek running through that is surprisingly not dried up.

Alright, I'll post my pokémon when we have a ref if that's fine by you.

And you kinda have an edge, you might have learned my style of fighting (reffed 2 of my matches, maybe more and reffing my match against Chris2.0) but I never back down from a challenge.

[color=orange][font=sylfaen] Lol, don't worry about it. I'm very dense when it comes to realizing things, and I'm not a very good battler, so you'll probably win. Unless all to your style is to be gutsy... But there has to be more to it. ^^''
I think I've reffed three of your matches, not including the Chris 2.0 one o.o'' Eh heh...

No problem with me, as long as you do your best to be active.

Considering the field, and not having a ground or rock pokémon, I'll send out Impri my female ninetails

[color=orange][font=sylfaen]Alright, works for me. I was tempted to choose Quistis my Rhydon, but this little guy needs the experience...

I choose Vivi, My Male Shiny Trapinch.

    Vivi
    Male

Alrighty, we're on our home turf Vivi, so theres no need to worry completely. First, kick up a Sand Storm so better hidden from Impri, then quickly burrow into the ground with Dig, and finish by using Focus Energy.

Sand Storm ~ Dig ~ Focus Energy

Let's start with Will-O-Wisp. Then if you can find the hole, flamethrower in it else calm the storm down with Sunny day. If the storm is still up use Iron Tail, else hypnosis

    ------******------

Both trainers quickly toss their Poké's, they don't want to stay in this heat any longer then is truly necessary. With a gulp from his water jug, Silencer orders his attacks. Quickly wiping her brow, Crystal Tears follows suit.

Impri, being fleeter on her feet, bounds forward and blasts a quick flurry of bright blue super hot flames at Vivi. They fly toward their target, flickering and looking strong in this heat. Before Vivi can even think about cover he is seared along his jaws with multiple blows of the searing heat. They leave black marks and he groans as he feels them hurt at his every twist of his oversized maw. He grumbles but starts his attack of a twisting sand swirler of doom. The sand and dirt lifts into the air as his attack starts up its run.

Impri growls lowly at the sand whipping against her skin, rocks also in the mix. Vivi looks completely content but follows his order of digging into the ground. Moving his legs in a strange swimming motion, he slowly disappears into the desert. Impri leaps and hops in the sand and goes to where Vivi dug in. The sand and rock immediately sunk into the hole after him, making him quite well hidden. Impri grumbles but looks up to the sky. She howls and dances, lookin mighty fine indeed. The sand and rock loose their momentum as the Sun comes out in full force. They drop to the ground in a strange rain, one bashing the ref in the head. NARG.

Impri is preening to herself, even though she is covered in a fine coat of sand, blendin in quite nicely into her surroundings. She looks around but doesn't see her opponent. He is still underground, sittin pretty and concentrating on increasing his battle focus. He has entered a Yoda mind stance, repeating the motto, 'you do or do noooooot, there is no tryyyyyyyyyy.' Impri is still confuzled but fires off her Hypnosis. It sweeps the field but doesn't affect Vivi far below her. His burns do however get to him and he shift as his jaws complain of ouchiness.

Alright Vivi, come out of your whole and then use Earthquake to be rid of those clones, then trap iher with Rock Tomb, and finally... Let's use a familiar strategy from another battle (Silencer should know this one... He used it on Dark Sage), and use another Earthquake to make everything collapse onto Impri!

Earthquake ~ Rock Tomb ~ Earthquake

Impri is grumbling to herself about disappearing opponents when as she braces herself. She closes her eyes for a split second and four copies unfold from her body. She quickly mixes herself into a new position among them and waits for her foe. He is swimming digging as fast as he can, and about 15 seconds later rocks fly into the air as he scrambles onto the arena. He quickly slaps his tiny forefeet into the floor. Mind as he had digging to do, it wasn't very powerful because it was short in duration. It got its job done though, clones gone. Meanwhile via rocks in flight the ref squeaks and unfolds her trusty umbrella. The rocks shower down upon it, Rocks 1, River 1.

Impri snorts at the totally unprofessional Ref, and starts her Safeguard sequence. She closes her eyes and searches for the immunity inside her system. She brings it to the fore and makes its energies start to swim around her. Vivi stomps the ground but the burns aren't helping him. The rocks surround Impri and she is none to happy. The sand she is sitting is not helping as they sink.

Impri shoots off V-shaped energy bursts, blasting an opening in the pile, causing them to tumble down so you can see Impri from the sholders up. Some beams slam into Vivi, having made it out of the hole. Vivi stomps the ground directly in front of him. The ground ripples and heaves violently. The Earth wave sweeps toward Impri, rocking her off her feet. She crashes to the ground and the Earth juts through the sand and digs into her hot skin, hurting her badly. Some rocks also roll on her as she shoots to the sky, ripping at her fur. She slowly gets to her feet; fur missing and the arena is a mess with pillars of jutting rock everywhere. Impri is in fact is sitting on one. Vivi whimpers at his blistering burns.

Right, Vivi, lets combine to handy attacks. Mimic that Safeguard while using Double Team. Then after that, use Safegaurd yourself. If mimic fails though, use Rock Throw.

We've done this before Impri, so let's do it again.

Lock her in a fire spin before she can use double team. Seeing as she's also focussing on mimic it shouldn't be to hard. Then send in a fire blast and we'll finish by using faint attack

Impri is not a happy doggy. She may be perched on a pillar, but some of her precious fur is missing, and of course she is got quite the amount of ouchies. She takes a rasping breath and tilts her head as she breath out. A thin stream of fire comes out and hits the ground near Vivi. She starts to spin her head in a circle and the flames surround Vivi. Vivi was trying to Mimic Impri's Safeguard but the circle of flames cut off his vision. At the same time he was popping of doubles, but the flames consumed each and every one of them.

The torrent stops, disappearing in a puff of smoke and Viv looks very pissed off. He grumbles to himself just when he notices the great flaming man coming towards him. His eyes goggle just before it sweeps over his form. He is bowled over into a pile of sand by the force of the blast. A puff of dust follows him, reminiscent of the roadrunner. Impri rasps out a tired chuckle.

Vivi leaps to his tiny feet. He mini bellows angrily and plans to trap his most annoying foe once again. However Impri has disappeared off her pillar. He looks around in confusion when he is sent flying sideways from a shadowy figure. He tumbles and rolls to a stop, aided by a pillar. He groans and chomps his formidable jaws and rocks burst out the ground. They encase Impri in a tomb, bruising her all the more. His shakes his head in annoyance as his burns come back to haunt him.

Use Earthquake, whilst Impri is digging to trap her again, then another Focus Energy, and finally, use a Rock Slide, as she is probably out by now.
If she gets out on the second turn, wait until Faint Attack strikes and hit her with a Crunch.

Impri is growling to herself now. She can barely move but she starts to scrape her paws in an up and down motion. The rocks start to tumble loose and she slowly makes her way too the surface of the pile of rocks. Vivi doesn't want this to happen, oh no. He starts to bounce up and down on his front legs. The round starts to ripple once again, the Earth shaking in its wake. Chasms start to open in the ground, and more pillars sprout upwards. The widening cone of damage reaches Impri, who is almost out. The rocks crash into the hole she has made behind her. She yelps as the ones on top of her cascade down after the others. When the dust settles, she is trapped with her hindquarters in the pile.

Vivi isn't sure if Impri can make it out of that so he watches her strain against the rocks. Impri pulls and then vanishes from view. He braces himself but is still sent tumbling head over heels again. He is not sent far and as Impri pants he runs over and chomps down hard on her right hind leg. She yowls in pain and tries to scramble to her feet. Vivi can't take the twisting on his burned maw and lets go at her pulling. Impri whimpers and licks her leg.

She doesn't lick it long and gives Vivi an enraged glare. She forces her beaten body to take a deep breath and washes her flames over him and point blank range. Vivi spin as the fires hit him, but the heat and flames lick at his face and he screeches at their heat. When it is over, Impri pants in exhaustion and Vivi is looking considerably . . . blacker. He hisses through his teeth and runs over to the nearest pile of rocks. He grabs one with his mouth and tosses it at Impri. It bashes her in the side and she is bowled over. He continues to toss the rocks, but he is loosing focus and the pain of his jaw is getting to him so the last few are a bit to wide of the mark.

    Round Five
    ---------***1/3~1/3***---------

    Arena: Desert Platue

Rock ground for the most part, has a few dead trees here and there, and has a couple of sandy patches, and a small creek running through that is surprisingly not dried up.

Sunny Day up for 1 more round. The arena has many pillars of rock all throughout it. Along with a few cracks in the ground.

    Vivi Trapinch
    Trained by: Crystal Tears

    Energy: 34%
Status: Burned (-3% each round) lowered attack [-2%], loosing focus. Very tired.

    Impri Ninetails

    HP:

    Flamethrower/Heat Wave/Overheat

    ------******------

Vivi is be needin a break or two. Impri could too, but she is feeling vindictive. She pants and watches as Vivi starts to zoom his little legs into the ground at a rapid rate. The dirt and rocks go flying and he is soon underground. Impri snarls evilly and bounds over to the hole. A hole it is too, as the old Rock Tomb was on solid ground. She snickers at the hole and takes a deep breath. A great torrent of flame, busted by that very nice Sunny Day swirls its way down the hole. Vivi groans as it flows over his form, irritating his burns all over again.

Vivi coughs on the smoke but limply collapses in the hole. He gulps in air, thinking he is secure in his hole. He chillin quite nicely when little balls of flame and a wave of hot air chokes into his lungs. It keeps rising in temperature and he groans and twists in pain. Impri is exhaling all the hot air out of her body. Tossing in some flames from her fire sac as well.

Now Impri is getting very tired, but her pain filled rage is pushing her on. She feels the need to cause her very annoying foe great pain. Vivi has had his fill of hotness. He is trying to Relax, but he is in a large amount of pain. Normally the fire would loose some power coming down the hole, but Sunny Day boosts it before it comes down. Impri closes her eyes and takes a great gulp of air. She holds it inside of her, building up the humongous torrent of flame she is about to release. When she opens her eyes, she glares with malicious glee. She opens her mouth and the huge flame spirals down the hole. It slams into Vivi, pushing him against the side of his hole. The heat of the fire, being trapped where it is, intensifies his burns, causing him yet more pain. When it is over. Impri is on the ground, panting like mad, and Vivi is barely moving.

You are doing a great job Impri, the match is almost over so let's bring her down.

He's still in the hole so yet another flamethrower in it, if he comes out use faint attack instead.
Then use faint attack and finish with flamethrower.

If he uses double team, trap her with fire spin.
If he uses rock tomb, dash our of the way with quick attack

    flamethrower/faint attack~faint attack~flamethrower
    sub: fire spin/quick attack

[color=orange][font=sylfaen]Alright Vivi, we're in a tight spot but don't worry about it!

Use Protect to guard against that flamethrower. Then, lets throw his plan awire! Since she's so close, up under her and grab her with a Crunch! Finally, as that should've avoided both attacks (if not ah well), come out from under the ground and rip her apart with an Earthquake!

    Protect ~ Crunch ~ Earthquake

Impri, well she would very much like break. A Kit-Kat might be nice, if she could work up the energy to eat it. As she hears her commands she groans. WHY can't she get a break? She sighs, around her panting, and slowly gets to her feet. She sucks in air once again, but she notices how the hole below her has started to sparkle and glow a little. She ignores it as part of her fatigue and fires her flamethrower. It spirals down, noticeably smaller, with her last Overheat making fire moves hard to do, and Sunny Day no longer in effect. She watches at it seems to bounce off something and hit the tunnel walls. Vivi below chuckles, as the fire stops he is very pleased.

Now it is Vivi's turn to strike. He turns in his hole and starts to make his way back up it. It takes a while. His burns scraping against the walls and well, Trapinch's aren't the speediest of Pokémon. When he gets to the top, his foe is gone. He HATES this. He looks around frantically but instead it is sent flying sideways into sand again, his left legs slamming against the holes edge. He spins around in the sand, running almost in place as he strives to chomp his foe. He finally gains purchase and crunches onto Impri's front left paw. He shakes his head, or tries too until his burns starts yelling OW! You imbecile! Stop! That HURTS!

Impri snarls at Vivi. She is over tired, stressed and her fur is a Mess with a capital M. She doggedly gets to her feet, and sucks in air. Vivi looks worried; he can't take much more damage. He is swaying on his feet, and he starts to stomp. the ground shakes a little but Impri is having NONE of that. She blasts him with a Flamethrower. It flows over him, and he and his burns just can't take it no more. Impri is halfway through her attack when he falls over. She stops and looks overly tired, but triumphant.

Didn't realise I had to attack first...

Let's start of with ancient power. Then we'll strike from a distance with dragonbreath and we'll finish with a supersonic, if he would cover his ears hit him with a flamethrower.

    Ancient power~dragonbreath~supersonic/flamethrower

[color=orange][font=sylfaen] Alrighty Quale! Lets prove to them we are not going down without a fight! Begin with a nice Psychic to grab those rocks Ancient Power picks up and throw them back at Aang! Then, when its using Dragonbreath, try and freeze its mouth shut with a Ice Beam to the head! Then activate his sub by covering your ears, then destroy his flamethrower with a good Water Pulse.

Both trainers slurp back up their Poké's into their Pokéballs. Silencer praises his Ninetales abundantly, while Crystal Tears thanks Vivi for trying. They both glare evilly, or as evilly as trainers can glare with TML around. *grabs pan and Mountie hat* CT denies any relation and tosses out her recent behemoth, Quale. He gives a great . . . burp and plops down on his butt. Silencer contemplates the Ref's coming doom before tossing his massive beast, Aang. A battle of the titans it is about to become.

Aang champs his formidable jaws and grabs onto the various rocks littering the field with his mind. One by one he starts to toss them at Quale. Quale stares happily at the boulders flying toward his head. Why is he happy you ask? He has a PLAN. He in turn flexes his psychic muscles, which compared to his physical bulk, are, minimal to be polite. He focuses and starts slow the incoming oversized bird turd (I don't care they're are white, they have brown bits![do NOT ask]). It slows to a stop and then launches the other way. It crashes into another good luck charm before slamming into Aang. He screeches, keeps tossing. A few more rocks that are tossed at Quale hit Aang, but his psychic skills are not anything to write home about so, while stopped, they miss Aang.

Now Aang is not a happy hawky like beast. It would be a good time to pull out the hood, but one wonders if it would be effective. Either way he calls upon his ancient heritage, and fires a Dragonbreath. The pink and red flames crackles and sparks with its dragon energy. In return Quale fires a beam of icy coolness. The beaming cold and fiery dragon collide in the middle. The ice begins to freeze into a flame like creation. The Dragon energy is trying to go around but stopped by Ice. Ice can go no farther, so freezes around the flame. Both Poké's can take no more, and stop, breathless. A frozen, on fire umbrella, falls to the ground and smashes to pieces.

Aang blinks. While interesting, that round was quite useless. Aang sighs and watches at Qulae stuff his paws in his ears. So he reaches for more ancient power. Near the same area he calls up fire. He breathes deeply before firing a pillar of continuous flame. A Firebat would be proud. Quale scoffs at his rival's foolishness. Can't he see he knows more moves then the Orange Islands have oranges? *Ref ducks flying fruit* He reflects upon his dinner and starts to produce a great amount of saliva. When he has enough water he spews a ball of water, followed by rings of confusion. The ball slams into the fire. And slows it. But it is not thee most powerful water move ever however. The fire continues and the last of Aang torrent hits him, in, where else? His enormous girth. He grunts but besides from blacked fur, is unburned.

For god sakes. I must post in absence tower just to say I might be a little late (I admit this is a bit.. more but still).

Quale we're in a rush so use Water Pulse, then Ice Beam, and then a psychic to his brain. If he protects, relax, if he tries Ancient Power, use Psychic but this time just go for the brain.

The ref has GIANT mug of tea in her hand as she wearily slumps into her chair. Seven till five, not fun. Anyway Aang decides (or realizes) hey! I can fly! I don't have to TAKE this aggravation. He screeches, roars whatever the heck it is that he does and takes off into the air. His wings surge him higher and he watches as Quale, well, watches him. Quale sucks in air, making his jumbo belly bigger. Saliva pools again and he spews a giant spit ball of water. Aang easily avoids the silliness and thinks about attacking but that would take up two turns so decides against it.

Now Aang is not all that fond of being frozen. So he makes life veeeery difficult for poor Quale. He splits himself off into many selves. Quale looks on perplexed. Why must his opponent be so hard to hit? He sighs mightily and decides oh THAT one looks good. A ball of coldness powers up in front of his nose and in no time it sails toward the Aang and straight on through. Sorry dude, ya missed.

All the clones wink outta existence as Aang concentrates on his new task. He dives at Quale flies straight at him, and it will be hard to miss him. He flattens his dive at the last second and slams Quale with a wing. Quale grunts but is pretty much ok. Then he watches as his foe flies back up, and he grabs him with his mind. It took a bit to power up but no matter. He slams into his mind and, well, meddles with it. Aang squawks and comes crashing to the ground. He can't very well fly when his brain is being quite nicely messed up. When Quale is done Aang shakes his head madly. He is not feeling quite right. Quale meanwhile pants a little.

Let's start with a sandstorm, then use an earthquake and we'll finish with rock slide if you can see him or if you know where he is, else use swift. If there aren't any rocks around use swift aswell

If he tries to mess with your head again, use supersonic to break its concentration
