You call and I answer - I may not be TPM's best ref, but I bet I'm the fastest!
...At least until a month or so from now, when it starts to get boring and I put it off/avoid it as much as possible.
With that said, let's move on...
Spike VS. Andrew
Official ASB Battle
Referee: Blademaster
Arena: A simple grass field
Just what I said - I wide, grassy plain under neath a clear, cloudless sky. A few rocks poke up here and there; a small hill rises up not far away, but other than that, nothing too spectacular or noteworthy.

Confuse Ray - Thunderbolt - Shadow Ball

Safeguard - Mimic(Shadow Ball) - Baton Pass
We're here on a lovely grass meadow just west of Ecruteak City, where two other Trainers - Spike, the Elite Trainer, and Andrew, the Moderator, stepped up and prepared for a battle. Releasing a Scyther named Finus and a Misdreavus named OzMissy (respectively), the 2 stared each other down, ready to fight. Kind-hearted Blademaster, always happy to help those in need, agreed to serve as a referee. Aren't you all lucky to have him around?
As the two Pokemon sized each other up, their Trainers shouted their third set of commands.
Finus makes the first move again, once again conjuring a point of white light atop his head, which expands and slides down his body, coating him with a veil of protective white light...
OzMissy, though, doesn't notice this - she's busy conjuring her own attack. A purplish aura surrounds her ethereal body; her eyes turn jet-black as a beam of shadowy energy courses through them, firing at Finus and slamming into his chest. Finus smirks, though - he didn't feel a thing...
Realizing her attack failed, an irritated OzMissy gathers sparks around her body, collecting and focusing them in her necklacelike gems and then firing them at Finus, striking the Scyther head-on! He howls as the electricity courses through him, causing his muscles to tense up.
Finus thinks back, recalling his next command... Mimic Shadow Ball...
Finus looks confused.
'What Shadow Ball?' he thinks, crossing his lances over his chest and focusing. He struggles to remember; energy begins coursing through him...
...
Meanwhile, OzMissy begins collecting more ghostly energy within her, all too happy to answer Finus' question...
KA-ZZZZZZZZZZZAT!!
Before she can finish, though, OzMissy screeches in pain as she feels herself being electrocuted. She opens her eyes - and sees a grinning Finus, who has Mimicked - and used - his own Thunderbolt!
Fuming, OzMissy fires her amassed energy, which coalesces into a black sphere that spirals straight at Finus...
But Finus isn't effected - he begins to glow with a white light, before retreating back to his Poke Ball, leaving a yellowish staff behind. Shadow Ball keeps going and flies off beyond the hill, gone from sight in seconds.
The yellowish staff Finus left behind begins to glow white; in a flash of light, a new Pokemon leaps forth from one of Spike's Poke Balls. Why, it's Roses, the Bulbasaur! And she looks serious.
OzMissy looks flustered - she has another opponent to deal with... Terrific...
