Well Andews idea sounds sensible. Maybe we could put all suggestions together and pick a new one each month for the thread. People keep suggesting them and then we always have a new one.

I was wondering, does anyone else feel like there should be some sort of relationship between you and your pokémon when you are fighting?

For instance, you could root for it so that it's attacks will be a bit more powerful but also a bit more draining. Or telling it to take it easy this round so that its attacks get weaker and less consuming?

Just a thought.

I like Chris's idea...

The part I think about Silencer's idea...in one of the Game Cube games...I think Colosseum, you get to call to your pokemon to try and wake it up, which would add an option or something...

I would make the suggestion of maybe having a place that sold berries, and have them in pokemon battles, but I haven't seen the pokes hold anything in the anime...and it may become unfair to those with little to no points...

Perhaps for following naming things we should do this:

Previous winner of the name can't win and hosts the new choice.
People send the previous winner their idea. The winner posts them all randomly and anonymously, but also lists everyone who made a suggestion.
Everyone who made a suggestion votes for their favorite.

Oh, and how would 1 prevo evolve into either male or female? new items called x and y chromasones...LOL...they could invent items to that extent, just not those names...it would be silly, or it could go like umby/espy one at day, one at night...I think they should get a new approach, if it evolves at lv.20 female...if you keep it until 25...male...atleast it would be new...
OR, they could have new trade on items like the bra and the boxers...I know...I went too far...

News on DP - attacks (try to think up a description for the attack list :p)

Well from PokéJungle, we have information of new attacks & abilities of certain Pokémon that were utilised in this demo. Thanks to Coronis for assistence in translation:

* Lucario knows the attacks Metal Sound, Bone Rush and two new attacks; Force Excert otherwise known as Hakkei, a Fighting attack that does damange and Anticipate, an attack that if the opponent uses an offensive move, Lucario will attack first and at 1.5 times the power of the opponent's attack
* Mime Jr. knows Psybeam, Mimic and a new attack called Manekko which is like Mimic but weaker. It's ability is a new ability called Filter. This ability cuts the power of any attacks used against Mime Jr. by half if the attacks have any additional effects
* Dorapion knows 4 brand new attacks; Dokubushi which translates as Poison Barb, a powerful Poison attack and three new attacks likely to be known around the community as elemental fangs; Fire Fang, Ice Fang & Thunder Fang, it is likely that these attacks will be similar to the Poison Fang attack in power and effect rates.

Anticipatye sounds cool altough you could waste a move if the opponent doesn't attack. But I think it will be a frequently used move here. And elemental fangs sounds good aswell. I want that Dorapion even more now.

There's speculation that Gligar and Dorapion look very similar. I think I agree, but I'm not sure yet. I <3 Gligar.
