~Round 5 Start~

Snorting fire out of his nostrils, Fuji begins to run at his clunky turtle pace towards the staircase. Feeling energetic and refreshed by his long sleep, he makes it to the stairs in good time, while Phoebe watches from her perch, ready to Teleport when the moment arises. Both opponents make eye-contact and Fuji begins his ascent up the staircase. It’s a very daunting process as Fuji tries to pull himself up each individual stair. Not the best physical activity for a turtle – and all this for a Body Slam? Fuji is now regretting every thinking about climbing up the stairs, but climb he must.

The Fire Torotoise also can’t help but wonder why Phoebe has not done a thing. Is she mocking him? Thinking that a big turtle can’t make it up a silly staircase? Well, he’s going to prove her wrong. Putting on a burst of speed, he finally manages to pull himself up the final step. Phoebe’s there, Fuji lunges.

Phoebe vanishes, and the turtle hits nothing but flooring. (-4% EP, Phoebe, -9% EP Fuji)

Phoebe, meanwhile, appears on the opposite end of the castle where she was before, giggling as Fuji’s rage becomes apparent. She can see the cloud of white smoke from here. He’s glaring at her from the top of the stairs, not even bothering to flail. He’s not going to do it if it’ll come to no effect – he’s not going to flop around like a stupid Magikarp is he’s no going to get anything out of it, so he chills in place instead. (+4% EP Fuji)

The Ralts, however, has no plans to sit and chill out. Sparks dance across her white body, before multiple yellow bolts of electricity jet out of her. They are head for the opponent, climbing up the stairs and zapping the tortoise. (-6% HP Fuji, -4% EP Phoebe)

Growling, Fuji finally has an opportunity to attack the cocky mushroom. He inhales, and starts to breathe out fire, but suddenly his jaws clamp shut, and the fire has no place to go. The Torkoal roars as the fire singes the inside of his mouth, and he can do nothing about it. The fire continues to burn, and the Tortoise has to breathe, and when he does, fire is pushed down his throat, to a disastrous effect.

Phoebe finally has the sense to withdraw her Psychic effects, and Fuji gasps and chokes, smoke and bits of fire dribbling out of his mouth. His nose continues to expel a bit of fire and smoke. Fuji chokes, his throat charred and a bit raw, while his lungs are protesting from the fire he breathed in. (Fire-type or not, it is still painful). (-4% EP, -5% HP Fuji, -7% EP Fuji)

All Fuji can do is breathe, and Phoebe looks on in concern.
