Default the power of low kick

remember low kick? the mediocre fighting attack that could cause flinch
well now, it brings a whole new factor into the battle

go ahead, use your bazillion ton metagrosses and obese slaking
cuz any machamp with low kick is going to sweep them off of their feet

    official nintendo move description
    low kick
    power -
    accuracy100
    pp 20
inflicts higher damage if your foe's weight is heavier

isnt that just interesting, of course i dont know an exact formula but it sounds like it could be a sinister achilles heel to some teams. Im also not sure if it means heavier than the pokemon using low kick or using heaviness relative to all pokemon

the bigger they are the harder they fall

Hmmm, the HUMONGUS Groudon may have himself a problem...does anyone know the weight/power calculation of Low Kick?

i think its just a saying i dont think it has anything to do w/anything... and such a low flinching is just a n00bs take on annoyance... doing like 20 bp dmg isnt worth flinching evert 3 or 4 turns... thats only making it like 25bp a turn... i owuldnt use it... you shouldnt either

gligar man, when i said low kicking was a weak fighting attack that may cause flinch, i was referring to old school (r/b/y/g/s/c) but this is a new game with new possibilities

now low kick more than likely uses the weight of the species listed in the pokedex, and yes would probably do almost nothing to a caterpie
the move description came from the list of other accurate move descriptions.

teams based on huge powerhouses may be in trouble
and who said i would use it, i hate machamp
i was putting up useful information in a format aimed to please....

All I know is, when I went up against Norman I led off with a Machamp, and all it took was one low kick against his first Slaking, and it was out cold. The other one wasn't so easy, but I still beat it.

Now Groudon... weighing 2095 lbs, he's the heaviest known pokemon in existence; but being a Ground -type, he is not espescially vulnerable to Fighting moves like Slaking is; and he'd like turn the average Machamp to lumpy paste before it got the chance, so who knows?

if that is the case then you should have tested it before posting... because i personally (no offense) dont think it would be based on weight... or else for bp it would say (varies) wich it dont...

Well, I haven't exactly gotten to the point where I fight Groudon in Ruby yet, so I don't haven't had the chance to test it...

But when I do... duh! I want to CATCH Groudon, not KILL him! And I plan to save the Master Ball for Requaza.

    1 kilogram = 2.2 lbs.

    less than 22lbs = 20(30)
    22.1lbs~55lbs = 40(60)
    55.1lbs~110lbs = 60(90)
    110.1lbs~220lbs = 80(120)
    220.1lbs~440lbs = 100(150)
    440.1lbs+ = 120(180)

    STAB in ()... yay.
