Arena: How about: The roof of the Daily Planet. Lois and Clark (as played by Terri Hatcher and Dean Cain) are writing an article on the battle. Since this is a battle on the roof, ground moves will not work. Also if any of the pokemon's attacks hit either Lois or Clark, there will be a 2% health penalty. If a pokemon falls off of a roof, Clark will pull a disappearing act and superman (Also played by dean cain in the series) will rescue the pokemon that fell. However, the pokemon that fell will take a 10% health penalty.?

Dark Dragonite Vs. Wolfsong

Pre-Battle Status

It was another calm day in Metropolis. No clouds at all, no strong wind, nothing. All of sudden, a green light could be spotted in the sky. Was it a bird? Was it a plane? Was it superman? Nope, it was me of course, inside a green bubble with two random trainers I found around. How could I made and control a green bubble, you may wonder? Simple, I... er, borrowed a Green Lantern ring. Yeah. Heh.

Clark Kent, surprised by such event, decided to do something about it. He was about to remove his Clark Kent suit when Lois Lane showed up. After some thought, he decided to go to the roof with her and watch what was going on. When they arrived, they saw three people. One, in the middle of the roof, had a green ring and stood there, giving some instructions. The other two were standed on opposite sides with some spheres on their hands. One had a label that said Dark Dragonite and the other had one saying Wolfsong. Lois explained that they were about to spectate a pokémon battle, so why not write an article about it?

Both trainers nodded after hearing the rules. After throwing their respective pokéballs a Growlithe appeared on Wolgsong's side while a Castform was in front of Dark Dragonite. After hearing their respective commands, both pokémon adopted their battle poses and were ready for anything.

Horatio, the Growlithe, stood there as if he was waiting for something. WW, the Castform started the battle. He smiled and started moving around. Was he dancing salsa? No, he was summoning the clouds to ruin everybody's day by making them rain. Drop drop drop. Good I had my ring to cover myself with more green energy. WW then stopped smiling. His body was slowly changing, he was turning blue and some of the drops started surrounding him. He was transforming. Horatio smiled and then followed his orders. His eyes glew and he then released a deep howl into the air. The clouds were leaving. The sun was giving us its light once again. Horatio smiled and decided to make his next move.

His eyes glew once again. A very thin veil of white energy started surrounding him. The dome of light was so thin that it was almost invisible. Is it getting hot in here? Growlithe's eyes were returning to normal now and he was satisfied of how things were going on until a strong stream of water hit him on the face. It was WW's attack of course. The water however was hot and he was now looking different. He resembled a little sun with a bad tan. How can the sun get a bad tan? How would I know? I'm no sun, am I?

WW's attack sent Horatio some steps back. The attack hurt, but not as much as he expected. His trainer's strategy worked perfectly. Annoyed, WW attacked again with water gun only to be responded with a heat wave attack. One would think that the water, with the type advantage and all, would beat the fire attack anytime anywhere, but it was so hot and Horatio's attack was so strong that the water dissipated and evaporated leaving no trace behind. Clark wasn't sweating at all. That guy is just weird.

The hot air hurt WW and sent him backwards. He was annoyed. The battle was long from over though and he knew he would get his opponent for this, someway or another.

I just want to throw in, incase you've never had a castform match, he changes types depending on the weather, I double checked myself in the rules tower, cause I wasn't honestly sure, but I have no problem with the reffing.

Now that the Green Lantern Corps have taken my ring away and left, shall we continue with the battle? Stupid Clark.

Things started to heat up here. Horatio's trainer decided to go defensive. The Growlithe's eyes glew white once again but, this time, 3 copies of him appeared out of nowhere. WW smiled, he saw this coming. He closed his eyes and started moving his head at a strange rythm: he was summoning the clouds once again. It was his rain dance attack. Drop drop drop. One by one, Horatio saw his clones disappear. Annoyed, he turned his eyes at his opponent once again only to see him transformed. It was raining once again, and WW had the type advantage.

Annoyed, Horatio growled and shot a white beam out of his mouth. WW felt how the attack damaged his entire blue body. What's this he felt? The attack was over but he still felt pain inside him. Shocked, he opened his eyes: he realized he was poisoned. Not good. Angry, he started making some gestures and saying some really really nasty words I wont say here because Clark might get angry. Of course, he covered Lois' ears. I mean, it's not Horatio's mother fault all the trouble his son is causing him. Of course, the puppy pokémon was pissed. Really really pissed. Was he losing it?

Furious, he once again attacked with secret power. This time, however, the beam was kinda reddish and wider. WW opened his eyes with fright only to recieve the beam directly onto his face. God, that hurt. Horatio had a vast power increase, however, the Safeguard protected him from the negative aspects of his opponent's attack. The power of the beam sent the little Castform flying away! He was going to fall off the building! WW closed his eyes, expecting the worst. When he opened them again, however, he was standing right where he stood when the battle begun. This was pretty confusing: one moment, WW was falling and the other he was standing right there. Odd. However, I knew the truth, right Clark? He was fixing his tie.

WW was panting heavily, he had never been so close to death before. His little heart was beating really really fast. His eyes changed. He didn't seemed ok at all. But, what happened to his eyes? They were pretty scary. He stopped panting, but his eyes didn't change. Suddenly, the rain drops around him gathered in front of his face, making a big water sphere. Horatio saw how the big ball of water approached rapidly to him. He wasn't going to close his eyes. The attack hit him and he released a big howl of pain. The bubble also sent him backwards, but he used his paws and teeth to to stay in the ground. This round was now over.

I had forgotten why I was waiting to post attacks, Razor Leaf reminded me...I didn't think Safeguard would block swagger. PSN,PAR,SLP I can see, they are physical things that come at someone, but swagger, is just sound, and sight that piss a poke off.

The battle continued. As soon as DD finished ordering his attacks, Weatherman shot a a water ball that hit Horatio before he could summon the sun again. It was a direct hit. After he stood up, it stoped raining and the clouds left.

Horatio then looked at his opponent and jumped towards him. WW, now a fire type again, shot a white beam at the puppy pokémon which sent him backwards. Furious, Horatio stood up again and and started running like crazy to bite WW. His eyes were red, his heart, mind and soul were taken over by rage. He ran and ran but lost control because of the wet floor, hitting his face on the floor.

The Castform looked at his opponent and tried to contain his laughter. Embarassed and more calmed, Horatio stood up, shook his head and gave WW a big and mighty crunch. He was going about to shook his head again but he recieved another normal beam, this time on the belly. He released a long cry of pain and had to let his opponent go. This round was over.

Once again, Horatio's eyes glew white and some clones of him appeared. WeatherMan smiled, and as ordered, he summoned the clouds once again by doing a strange dance. His body was slowly changing and the rain drops got rid of the clones.

Horatio then disappeared from sight and hit WeatherMan violently. The now water pokemon focused some water and water energy in a sphere and shot it at his opponent. Growlithe got hit directly.

Annoyed, Horatio used his secret power and shot a white beam of energy. The impact made WeatherMan go back a few steps. He stood up, collected some energy as before, and shot another weather ball. He then felt pain. It was eating him from inside: he felt how it hurt him little by little. Castform was now poisoned.
