Alright, with the fourth battle slot getting approved, I officialy take your challenge.

Go Athene! (female Slowbro)

First shoot down a Toxic at Wizard! Then fire a Shadowball and keep her at a distance with Icebeam.

Incase she sets up a Safeguard, use Calm mind. If she tries Double Team use Earthquake and if she shoots down a Toxic or Thunderwave use Teleport and go to a safe place.

Ok Wizard, start off with that Safeguard. Now Paralysis and Poisoning is all set up for avoiding, so ho about a nice big Yawn to leave your Slowbro enemy a little sleepy? Now use Future Sight, to set things up for later.

Arena Status: A large circular arena, with a tall concrete wall around it. Soft sand is under foot, but there's also about a foot of water in the arena too. The pokemon are partially submerged in the water. A clear dome made of flimsy plastic has been erected to prevent any weather effects from taking effect. This is a no holds barred battle, anything goes!


MATCH

The two opponents, Athene, a yawning Slowbro and Wizard, an exhausted Slowking study each other slowly in the shallow, tepid water. As they cautiously eye each other, Athene, while stumbling around clumsily, bumps into Wizard’s house blend, spilling it all over the leather upholstered chair that it had carried out to the arena for some odd reason, probably involving his fetish with gold coins. Nevermind, that’s Meowth. Regardless, Slowking angrily begins the round.

MATCH

-- BEGIN –

Wizard, begins the round, with a slightly ticked off yawn. Slowbro begins to walk towards him, slowly. He progresses. He’s fairly close as of now, but they didn’t start all that far apart. Wizard is still yawning. And yes, Athene is now inches from her opponent. Still yawning. Athene opens its mouth wide, as if it were going to spit something out, but notices a silver light slowly encasing Wizard in a veil, and retreats to use a Calm Mind instead.

Athene burps and rolls on its side lazily. After walking into a few walls, Slowking approaches and opens its mouth even wider for a huge yawn. Just watching it makes Slowbro sleepy, and he begins to curl up. But then, remembering his trainer’s orders, lumbered up and flopped one of her fat arms carelessly, creating a dark orb of shadow energy, hurtling towards Slowking’s still yawning mouth. Going right down her throat, Wizard felt a particular feeling indeed.

Continuing her assault, Athene blows an ice beam directly toward Wizard, who takes it, looking up into the sky with a smug grin. Athene stops to wonder for a second, but decides to lie down and try to clean dirt out from underneath its fingernails. Alas, it can’t seem to find its nails, and dropping a glob of drool onto its chest, rolls over emitting a loud “Guhhhhhhhhh….” Meanwhile, Wizard winces in pain and gasps for air, realizing that the shadow ball had affected him.

While I object to Wizard's seemingly stupidity when it's supposed to be highly intelligent, that round went well.

Wizard, your foe is going to be a little slower than usual, so that gives you the advantage. So lets use one of your own Shadow Balls first, then a double Blizzard, lets see if we can try and freeze Slowbro in place.

Sorry, but the personality and slowness were so close together, i wanted both Pokemon to have even intelligence, so things dont seem unfair. Of course, I dont believe the intelligence levels have really affected the battle yet. Not like they will. *cough*

Alright Athene use Amnesia so that he'll forget Shadowball for the rest of the battle. Then Teleport right behind him when he unleashes the Blizzard and fire a Shadowball at him.

ROUND 2: “Cold front”

Wizard, giving a stupid grin, flops one of his arms up, sending a similar dark ball of energy to the one Athene used the previous round. Slowbro, thinking as quickly as it could, began to scratch its head, hoping to make Slowking forget he ever knew how to use such a move. However, Slowking’s reaction time took slightly longer than it did for the shadow ball to collide with Athene, however, her mind began to tingle and she wondered what she was doing.

But this did not deter the well-trained pokemon. Growling as it remembered its trainers commands, it spewed out a massive cold wind in Slowbro’s direction. Slowbro attempted to teleport, but not before the first wave of icy cold storm licked at it, giving it a brief amount of pain.

Then, Athene follows up with a Shadow Ball of her own, catching Wizard in the back. After a few seconds, Slowking realized that it had been attacking an empty patch of ground for the duration of its attack, and feeling a sudden sting in its spine, slowly rotated around and continued with another blizzard, this time dead on. Athene closed its eyes, waiting for the pain to come, but it was fast asleep before it felt any twinges of the cold whatsoever.

ROUND 3: “A Shocking Developement”

-- BEGIN –

Wizard begins this round, closing its eyes as a purple aura surrounds it. Suddenly, it feels refreshed and slightly more energized than before. Slowbro, still asleep, rolls back and forth like a ship on stormy waters, its nose spurting out occasional jets of water, taken in as it flopped about unconsciously. Suddenly, it burst out of the water and came crashing down into Slowking, making a huge splash. It gasped, waking up as the shock from impact went through its body. Wizard fell back, gasping for air. (Double Edge)

Staggering to its feet, Wizard coughs up a purple glob of sticky goo, that takes Slowbro right in the face. Grunting in anger, Athene sends yet another shadow ball in Slowking’s direction.

The two water pokemon, both peeved by their opponents attacks stare each other down, awaiting the next move. Wizard, tired of waiting, leaps at Athene, bringing down sharp claws into its face. Slowbro, taking the hit, uses its opponent’s now close range to shock it with a point blank zap cannon, sending a flailing pokemon crashing back into the water, very injured.

ROUND 4: “Fire and Ice”

-- BEGIN –

Both pokemon immediately begin the round with powerful fire and ice attacks. Athene, pouring out an intense flamethrower tries to combat the bright white ice beam created by Wizard. Wizard, who is slightly ahead in energy, I unable to get its attack to Slowbro, but utilizes the previously mentioned advantage, causing Athene to literally burn up some of its energy while trying to get rid of the powerful ice beam.

Grinning, Wizard begins to slowly jog towards its opponent, arms flailing like tree braches in the wind. Athene begins to conjure a powerful electric attack, but not before getting battered by Wizard several times. Finally, it Blasts the slowking back with an immense Zap Cannon, once again successful due to the fact that it was point blank.

Shaking itself off, Wizad goes for a second fury cutter. Athene fires a shadow ball at her, which connects successfully but does not deter the charging pokemon, who leaps into Slowbro with a more powerful fury cutter than before. Oh, and future sight came. Bam.

Good job to you both, that was a pretty intense and face paced battle. Although I personally like Slowbro more , Wizard came out with a win, deciding the battle, but not the epic conflict between these two pokemon.
