Quick question...
Well, it's holiday time, so inevitably boredom's kicked in, and so I decided to have a go at playing through Sapphire again. I was just wondering, though, moves like Odour Sleuth - descriptions say it ignores accuracy and evasion modifiers, but is that before the opponent's used an evasive move (so it means any attempt at one won't make a difference), or after (so that the evasive effects are nullified)? Or both? It's not a move I've ever put to use before, and I don't really understand it, lol.

Re: Quick question...
[color=magenta]Ok, I am not 100% sure about this, because I have never bothered with that move either, it is like one the first one that I get rid of when my Pokémon learn a new move. I believe that Odor Sleuth will cancel out any loss to the user's accuracy, such as being hit with moves like Sand Attack, and also prevent that Pokémon's accuracy from being lowered again. I think it also prevents the opponent from using evasiveness-increasing moves like Double Team, and also allows for Normal and Fighting-type attacks to hit Ghost-types. I think it is pretty much a carbon copy of the move Foresight, although Foresight only has 5-8 PP, compared to Odor Sleuth's 40-64 PP.
Oh BTW: Nice to see ya again Cheesey, I haven't seen you around here for awhile!! ^_^

Re: Quick question...
Hehe, nice to see you again too Christen! That clears things up for me, maybe I ought to try and test it out sometime, just to see. I knew about the Foresight letting Ghosts be hit by Normal and Fighting attacks, though; in GSC my Gengar got a horrible shock from Bruno's Machamp
Thanks!
